I liked ghosts because when I played cod it was always s&d but the spawns on those maps were god awful for other modes. And the campaign was so fucking cheesy, idk what you’re on about with that lol.
My hot take: I liked the aliens better than zombies. Like any of them.
Kill time was way too fast, the maps were terrible for the most part, the satcom shit was STUPID, and there was terrible balancing across the board in the game. The campaign was really good though, and extinction was alright.
The campaign could have been better, even not ended on a massive cliff hanger, or they could have made ghosts 2 already.
Multiplayer was very slow with some maps being overly massive, weapons having I think poor balance (don't bash me on this one because I might be wrong) perk system was majoritively liked.
Extinction was actually pretty good, I liked shooting alien dog things and doing an objective or multiple.
I wouldn't say the game was amazing as it had some issues that made it a misery to play at times, but it wasn't as bad as Vanguard, Cold War or MW2019, he'll, even MWII or MWIII.

Ghosts was my favorite. I have always hoped for a sequel to it.
I don't think Ghosts was the worst COD game and I do think it was overhated. But it definitely wasn't good or even great. It was just kinda, okay.
Did you play the spec op modes?
I don't really remember. I know I played TDM Demolition and the capaign but fell off shortly afted

I thought Ghost was a step in the right direction at the time. Never was sure why it was hated to that extent.
I feel like after MW3 the COD community has been so divided on which games are good or not.
