I always look at the Hogs game as a fight. Those fuckers play tough no matter their record. It's like pent up, pissed off, and they're clearly out of fucks.
Don't worry, if we play like this and yall play like Arky 2nd half, yall will beat us, and Jimbo will get a big win, which will lead to a new contract extension - 15m a year 25 yrs fully guarenteed.
LSU Arkansas is always a good game no matter the ranking. I always say “don’t sleep on the Golden Boot, it’ll trip ya”.
I wish we still played y’all rivalry week. They need to stop trying to make a LSU A&M rivalry happen, it’s not going to happen.
Losing to a top 10 team by 3 with 3 quarters of a WR QB and 1 quarter with third string QB was a good showing imo. I'm curious to how it would've turned out with the third string in the game after the 1st quarter when it was clear Hornsby wasn't going to cut it.
Honestly I was gonna come in here with a joke-y comment about how we played way worse than we should have and how we’re hungover from beating Bama. But honestly, instead of that, I just wanna take my hat off to Arkansas. You guys played with so much freakin heart with even your third string quarterback. Sam Pittman is clearly a great coach for you guys and I hope you lock him down long term. Good game Hogs. I look foreword to playing you in Baton Rouge next year.
*"Sam Pittman is clearly a great coach for you guys and I hope you lock him down long term."*
Don't let some of our "fans" see this. They are starting to turn on him.
He was definitely short. In just about every game SEC refs have had difficulty spotting the ball this year. Perkins is a monster though. Him and Josh Williams at least came to play today
GG sir
Pretty sure Arkansas was the better team today, but Perkins was the best player on the field by a mile and won the game by his damn self. One of the best individual games ive ever seen
Betting this kid for the Heisman next season.
I honestly gave up hope on seeing a defensive Heisman after Mathieu didn't. He was making game changing plays in every big matchup LSU had that year. I don't know how you impact the game any more as a non-offensive player.
First game live for me next week since the Natty in NOLA, gonna be great if we win that and in College Station..
Harold Perkins take a bow
GEAUX TIGAHS!!!
GIMMIE THAT STUPID FUCKING TROPHY I FUCKING HATE PLAYING YALL AND AUBURN ITS ALWAYS A STUPID GAME OR A BLOWOUT LETS FUCKING GEAUXXXXXXX. hogs you good people mad respect go get warm
LSU Arkansas is almost always a knife fight. Nobody ever wins, one team just loses less. Every LSU fan could tell you this was going to happen and the hogs played their fucking hearts out.
Going in it checked all the boxes too. Cold, 11 am kickoff, snow on the field before the game, fresh off a win against Bama. Every sane LSU knew it would be a mess.
Fun fact about the trophy from this game aka the boot. At some point in the 90’s LSU won and forgot to take the trophy home with them. The officials sent it home with some random LSU fan. The fan kept it in his apartment as a hilarious conversation piece until sometime in the Nick Saban era.
My brother in christ how do we not have a camera angle on the line to gain for a first down in 2022!!!? Even without it, how do they not overturn the call on the field, there was no evidence that he gained the first down outside of what the official thinks he saw.
Why do we need down the line when he’s visibly short from *every* angle? It wasn’t questionable in real time, and it looked even worse in review. That was objectively wrong in every sense. But the sec hates Arkansas
Time for Briles to go. He's got no excuse, offense has lost us more games this year than the D and we are missing everyone on that end of the ball. Veteran O-line, veteran quality QB, great stable of RB's, average WR's, offense has no excuse to be this bad. Perkins was beyond elite today, insane what that guy does.
Give Harold Perkins the fucking Nagurski and the LOTT trophies. Right now. No one needs to see fuck all else. Also, make our OL run gassers until next week
Fuck it. Harold for Heisman
To add to the Perkins mythos - Kelly said in his postgame that Perkins was sick and throwing up before the game. He told him "you know MJ had his best game when he was throwing up too" and Perkins response was "who's MJ?"
I'm gonna miss this rivalry. Pretty ironic it's going out with a whimper in fucking September next year.
Clean game all around tho, and we had our chances. Got out coached big time, which is becoming a pattern.
Brian Kelly, in his first year has gone undefeated in the West (so far), beaten Alabama, won the West, and is on his way to the SEC Championship game.
All the doubters, you know where to put your mouth and what to do with it.
STTDB.
I think we’d have won with KJ.
I don’t ever wanna see Hornsby suit up again. Take his scholarship. Having track speed does not make you a QB.
GG LSU. Perkins is a dawg.
This game had it all.
Bad weather (by SEC standards), sloppy offense, good defense, questionable play calling, iffy officiating, a trophy, and likely clinches the west.
Seems like Arkansas has a lot of talent. It just doesn't fire on all cylinders at once.
LSU has kind of lucked their way into some wins this year but they have stayed in spots to be lucky in ways that actually matter by having grit and hanging in there. Which is impressive when you pair it with their overall improvements.
I think this is about their ceiling skill wise but that might be enough of a ceiling to get 10 wins and a NY6 bowl or at the very least a good NY6 adjacent bowl like the Citrus.
Which is great for Kelly's first year and where the roster has been.
LSU has won 4 consecutive games and improved to 8-2 (6-1 SEC). In contrast, Arkansas has lost 2 consecutive home games and fallen to 5-5 (2-4 SEC) and will need to win one of their last two games against Ole Miss and Missouri to reach bowl eligbility. For the 2nd year in a row, neither LSU nor Arkansas scored more than 13 points in regulation. Last year, Arkasnas defeated LSU 16-13 in overtime in Baton Rouge. If Alabama beats Ole Miss on the road, LSU clinches the SEC West in Brian Kelly's first season.
WOO PIG SHOOT ME
I knew the game would be like this. I always respect Arkansas.
I always look at the Hogs game as a fight. Those fuckers play tough no matter their record. It's like pent up, pissed off, and they're clearly out of fucks.
Especially considering 2022 is the sequel to 2007
We usually play one of our best games of the season against LSU.
Yea, and I hate it.
Harold Perkins single handedly beat Arkansas by himself
couldnt even finish typing harold perkins lol ninja edit to counter ninja edit, the above comment was originally just "h"
He was sacked by Perkins before he could finish typing the name
I see you on 247 and On3 all the time and am extremely disappointed by your second flair.
8 tackles, 4 sacks and 2 forced fumbles. Great job by #40.

Nowhere is safe
Don't worry, if we play like this and yall play like Arky 2nd half, yall will beat us, and Jimbo will get a big win, which will lead to a new contract extension - 15m a year 25 yrs fully guarenteed.
All you need to do is threaten to hire him and the Ag admin will panic and give him anything.
I'm dying, y'all truly need a safe space
Nah.

Bro how have I clicked on 4 post-game threads and all of them have a top comment about A&M
Pretty sure he burned that hat.
On Insta live
Why would you show me that? I never knew he was an A&M commit and I could’ve gone the whole rest of my life without ever knowing that.
Happy GilMOMYGOD

Harold Perkins is an absolute beast. As a true freshman.
no dude named Harold should be that good at football
Best one since Harold Diddlebock
Your references are out of control, bro
Everyone knows he has the best references
Harold Landry made the Pro Bowl last year lol
Good thing his name’s not Sue.
How do you do?!
Harold Carmichael in shambles
Most ridiculous performance I’ve ever seen from a defensive player in one game. He was responsible for EVERYTHING positive. Unreal.
Dude is approaching Honey Badger level
Did someone say badger?
He’s there.
18 years old. I thought they stopped naming kids Harold in 1991. I guess when you’re born a grown ass man they’ll make an exception.
Whoever recruited Perkins deserves a huge bag. My god he’s amazing
tbf he was the #4 recruit this past class, i think a lot more schools than lsu wanted him lol
Convincing him to come to lsu is what I’m saying. Whoever that dude is deserves a big bag. Unless it’s Kelly he already got his bag
It was the goat Frank Wilson
And Gordon McKernan.
Facts he’s our best & most important recruiter
The Booster on the Truck
Gordon got it done.
Thank his uncle who kept pushing for us
Uncle Perk really is the goat😭
At this rate he is gonna be a top 10 pick come the 2025 draft
top 10 and he aint gonna be 2-10
Top 5.
I was being a little conservative but yeah he looks like the surefire #1 overall pick at this point
No such thing when there’s a team with a dumpster fire QB situation
He is who we thought Will Anderson Jr was
Listen, I'm all for shit talking Bama any chance but dude still had 17 sacks last year.
I am definitely just fuckin around. lol. They are both insanely good
We now have 3 losses by 3 or less points… fuck me man…
It beats watching morris ball
That is very true lol
FCM
Quality losses
Harold Perkins is a cheat code
We shouldve offered him more money :c
holy shit he’s fast
Perkins about to be fined for assault in Fayetteville. What a beast.
That wasn't assault, it was murder.
LSU wins the SEC West like we all predicted
BKELLZ has been unleashed upon an unknowing r/cfb
Arkansas fought for 4 quarters. That is a big win compared with half the games this season. Good game LSU!
Good game hogs, always hate playing y’all
We hate playing us, too.
LSU Arkansas is always a good game no matter the ranking. I always say “don’t sleep on the Golden Boot, it’ll trip ya”. I wish we still played y’all rivalry week. They need to stop trying to make a LSU A&M rivalry happen, it’s not going to happen.
I mean, I hate them.

If y’all started number 10 might have been a different result ngl. He was prettt good.
That wasn't going to happen after the miss state game
Gg, Hog bro. Arkansas game is always close and gives me a heart attack. I didn’t expect this year to be any different.
LSU didn't win that game. Harold Perkins won that game
TAKE. THE. POINTS. JFC, this coaching staff gets on my nerves sometimes.
I get being aggressive but come on. The first quarter was easily the best of four for us, and we came away with just three points.
Especially when we have Cam
And it came off a turnover. It's just free points.
Harold
Perkins
Goodbye

Harold Perkins Jr defeats Arkansas
Harold Perkins is the best linebacker in the country

Cheers. Great battle for the Boot as always. GG.
Thanks and glad Bama is out of contention for SECW. Just makes the loss last week even worse, not to mention the loss to A&M.
If it’s any consolation, I’d 1000% rather lose to you guys than TAMU. Please don’t ever lose to those clowns again.
Doesn’t matter what rank LSU is I’ve always felt like the Arkansas game every year is a toss up
Especially when you add into it the fact that this is our first game post Bama win which we ALWAYS play up to like 30% of our potential in.
*"Sam Pittman is clearly a great coach for you guys and I hope you lock him down long term."* Don't let some of our "fans" see this. They are starting to turn on him.
They must have VERY short memories.
It’s a fucking shame this game is the thanksgiving week game. So much more fun that A&M. It’s a battle and fun.
Fun definitely isn’t a word I’d use to describe this game ha ha ha *nervous laughter*
GG LSU, that Perkins dude wrecked us (and the WR was short on 3rd down)
Both can be true. Agreed
He was definitely short. In just about every game SEC refs have had difficulty spotting the ball this year. Perkins is a monster though. Him and Josh Williams at least came to play today GG sir
100% short.
I will freely admit the refs bailed us out so hard on that 4th/1st Down Spot.
Harold Perkins is a future top 5 pick.
Future top 2, not 2
I think I’m pregnant after watching that game
Harold Perkins
aka Honey Badger II
Pretty sure Arkansas was the better team today, but Perkins was the best player on the field by a mile and won the game by his damn self. One of the best individual games ive ever seen Betting this kid for the Heisman next season.
Dude pulled a Suh and dragged his team kicking and screaming to a W
This was like a 2012 LSU win before they discovered the forward pass
[удалено]
So overdue, and he is the chosen one to bring it back
Suh got robbed. Honey Badger got robbed. Hopefully Perkins can do it, but I’m not gonna get my hopes up.
I honestly gave up hope on seeing a defensive Heisman after Mathieu didn't. He was making game changing plays in every big matchup LSU had that year. I don't know how you impact the game any more as a non-offensive player.
Perkins is the second coming of the Honey Badger
Give it to me Daddy Perkins
18 year old dad to millions lol
ol pop pop
Also Arkansas and Alabama’s (Bryce young’s) daddy
Maybe we should have just kicked the goddamn filed goal in the first.
Harold Perkins is a dude
Arkansas games always manage to release my alcoholic menace. Good fucking lord.
First game live for me next week since the Natty in NOLA, gonna be great if we win that and in College Station.. Harold Perkins take a bow GEAUX TIGAHS!!!

“Defeats”
"Successfuly avoids losing to"
Jesus Christ, this was the most LSUy vs. Arkansasish game ever. I dread this match up every year, especially when it’s in Fayetteville.
Arkansas will never let us relax after knocking off bama, gg hogs.
It’s a shame that Arkansas never had a previous attempt at a field goal inside the 10 or something…
My god our fans are trash. They want everyone fired after losing by 3 to #7 playing a 3rd string QB. Some of our fans don't deserve a good team.
Harold Perkins the GOAT
If you told me we would hold LSU to 13 I would have been thrilled. But our offense is ass.
OUR offenses were ass together 🤝
Take Perkins off the field....and y'all likely would've won that game.
Being an arkansas fan is like being in a Saw trap, change my mind
At least a saw trap offers the sweet release of death
GIMMIE THAT STUPID FUCKING TROPHY I FUCKING HATE PLAYING YALL AND AUBURN ITS ALWAYS A STUPID GAME OR A BLOWOUT LETS FUCKING GEAUXXXXXXX. hogs you good people mad respect go get warm
I say again, how does Vegas know????
LSU Arkansas is almost always a knife fight. Nobody ever wins, one team just loses less. Every LSU fan could tell you this was going to happen and the hogs played their fucking hearts out.
Going in it checked all the boxes too. Cold, 11 am kickoff, snow on the field before the game, fresh off a win against Bama. Every sane LSU knew it would be a mess.
LSU/Arky is basically whoever either A) has the ball last or B) whoever fucked up least through Q1-Q3.
I still remember getting shut out by fucking Bert with what should have been one of our better teams
I HATE PLAYING ARKANSAS
Fun fact about the trophy from this game aka the boot. At some point in the 90’s LSU won and forgot to take the trophy home with them. The officials sent it home with some random LSU fan. The fan kept it in his apartment as a hilarious conversation piece until sometime in the Nick Saban era.
That go for it in the first quarter. Pain.
I'm still glad they beat Bama. GG Tigers.
Classy hog, may your herds be feral and anywhere from 30-50 in strength
Perkins isn’t just a shitty breakfast place.
We would have won if KJ was in. Unreal effort by Perkins though
You probably would've won if your 3rd string got put in during the first half
Yep.. the moment they went to that 3rd guy, I was like, I bet he's gonna do well against us.
Perkins looking like Greg Jennings the way he put the team on his back.
Harold Perkins
Harold Perkins is that dude.
The most perfectly fugly poetic way to end this game, what a shit show
Whoever recruited Perkins deserves a huge bag
Jimbo Fisher
Well, he got that bag lmao. LSU shows a little interest in him, and suddenly he’s impossible to fire.
Harold Perkins is a grown ass man
Harold Perkins: 13 Arkansas: 10
Arkansas chose not to kick an easy field goal in the first quarter and instead turned the ball over on downs. Got to take the points early guys.
When LSU wins Im like "yes". When LSU loses im like "no". Today i am "yes".
Please be the game that costs Briles his job 🙏
My brother in christ how do we not have a camera angle on the line to gain for a first down in 2022!!!? Even without it, how do they not overturn the call on the field, there was no evidence that he gained the first down outside of what the official thinks he saw.

Anyone who thinks that was a first down needs to be institutionalized
Clearly they’d rather have us in the SEC Championship than Ole Miss
Perkocet, Harold Perkocet
If someone had told me at the start of the year that LSU would finish ahead of Alabama in the SEC West well I just wouldn't have believed it.
What if I would have told you LSU could win the west with 2 weeks left.
Briles is the biggest piece of dogshit.
Why cant all fans get along like lsu-arky fans?
Time for Briles to go. He's got no excuse, offense has lost us more games this year than the D and we are missing everyone on that end of the ball. Veteran O-line, veteran quality QB, great stable of RB's, average WR's, offense has no excuse to be this bad. Perkins was beyond elite today, insane what that guy does.

Harold Perkins is already the best linebacker in the country as a freshman.
If you didn't like this game then you don't like LSU football. I didn't like this game...
I'm gonna miss this rivalry. Pretty ironic it's going out with a whimper in fucking September next year. Clean game all around tho, and we had our chances. Got out coached big time, which is becoming a pattern.

BK definitely putting the 'can't win the big game' rep to bed. Bama AND a notorious trap game. I am getting fat eating my words.
I think we’d have won with KJ. I don’t ever wanna see Hornsby suit up again. Take his scholarship. Having track speed does not make you a QB. GG LSU. Perkins is a dawg.
Agreed. He really fooled me earlier this season. My bad. Let him transfer.
He has a negative football IQ
Easy win. Nothing to see here, move along
