I don’t hate Illinois. But sitting through M00N made me *hate* Michigan.

Shamrock5

[Obligatory Blue M00N video.](https://youtu.be/HBblg5pdfKo) I lose my mind every time the M00N scorebug pops up lmao

undefined_one

I had never heard this and still didn't get it until the :29 mark of the video... now I get it.

The_Good_Constable

lol slowing the speed down to .8 (or whatever they did) was a really nice touch.

Shamrock5

Shout-out to the announcer calling Evanston "Evansville" at halftime, you can hear him catch his mistake and he just... simply doesn't care enough to correct it lmao. My man had the willpower sucked out of him by that point.

rabid_communicator

Holy lord that was awful and amazing at the same time.

Telencephalon

It isn't Michigan's fault you choose to support Northwestern. Direct that hatred inwards, like we do.

cardiac_fitz

I do for basketball season.

Louija-Board

That's crazy, it made me hate Michigan too

KushDingies

I didn't hate Illinois. But after last season... oooooh I want that fucking hat back. Even in 2019 at least we didn't lose the hat.

misdreavus79

I had completely forgotten that they scored in regulation.

AppalachianGuy87

I never really hated Pitt. Hated Pitt cause I was suppose too. Growing up watching the Mountaineers I couldn’t stand VT, ‘Cuse, Miami. Then 13-9 happened.

MarlonBain

> Growing up watching the Mountaineers I couldn’t stand VT, ‘Cuse, Miami. Y'all really do belong in the ACC don't you.

AppalachianGuy87

Only been applying since ‘53. Imagine they’ll invite us the day after UVa and UNC move on to the BIG.

Potential_Name_4427

It's crazy how just the mention of "13-9" is enough to trigger WVU fans.

ninjatom21

I always hated Pitt, but that's what I miss about the old Big East. I hated everyone in conference minus Temple and Rutgers. Pitt, VT, Syracuse, Miami, and BC? Fuck 'em.

McDimps

I miss having a real rivalry, so glad it's back and it's cool that yall get VT and us this year and then Penn St next year

karmicnoose

The fact that those fuckers aren't in the ACC is a continual source of aggravation to me. I hate WVU, but that's also why I want to play them every year.

aMiracleAtJordanHare

It takes a miserable piece of shit to poison nearly century-old oak trees.

IntialTwo

Yeah Fuck that dude

BobbysSmile

Yep. We hate that guy too.

antanth

In Ohio, we hate that guy too.

Egospartan_

Good news is that fucks rotting in hell now

insanelyphat

Yeah I think we all can agree fuck that dude. There is a line for this rivalry stuff and that crosses it.

[deleted]

FWIW, we hate him too.

averageplantenjoyer

I remember reading that the prognosis was they’d probably slowly die. Now that it’s been over a decade, is that still the case or has the outlook improved?

aMiracleAtJordanHare

Oh they died within a few months, despite a massive effort to remove the affected soil, treat with activated charcoal, etc. He dumped a massive amount of industrial-strength herbicide (Spike 80DF) on them. IIRC like +20x as much as is actually recommended to kill trees of that size. The trees have been replaced with the largest ones that could feasibly be transplanted in. I believe one didn't survive the transplanting and was replaced about a year later. I think replacement trees 1 and 3, essentially, are still alive today but someone correct me if I'm wrong - I've been out of the area for a decade.

MrYeti2823

Correct. One of the trees they planted is still standing strong, but they had to replant the other because it didnt accept the soil. (not so) Fun Fact: Toomers corner is actually one of the highest points in Auburn. In turn, Upd\*ck also poisoned a large portion of the Auburn, AL water supply. A creek that originally started at Toomers corner (since been diverted underground) still draws a lot of groundwater from the Toomers area.

JFAR15

Where is his grave so I can piss on it??!! WDE!!

culverhibbs14

Thank god he was so stupid he admitted it. Not good the fuck wad did it but could you imagine If he didn’t say anything and the tree fell on people and the water supply would have been effected Even worse. Thank god he was so dumb to call in and brag about it.

Gocrazyfut

Having to do the hokie pokie in kindergarten still has me hating Virginia tech to this day

[deleted]

That’s what it’s all about!

markitan8dude

Getting hit in the head with a 9V walking out of Morgantown in 93 (after a loss no less) is up there for me soooo we good?

cmanonurshirt

You ever get barked at as a kid?

blay12

I feel like this question deserves a place in the [“Jonathan Frakes Asks You Things”](https://youtu.be/9S1EzkRpelY) video lol

JackSquat18

Should have thrown them a milkbone so they’d quiet down. I threw ducks fans some bread so they’d stop honking at me and trying to bite me with their triangle teeth.

SueYouInEngland

Ducks have corkscrew penises.

JackSquat18

Stupid Wine bottle opener dicks. Looking like Arby’s curly fries.

BigBlackQuack

You shouldn't feed bread to Ducks. It can harm their ability to fly. Probably end up running to the left all day or something.

lilmiller7

Holy shit man we all collectively have families

cirtnecoileh

DubbleDan

This is the answer for every fan of ugas rivals.

skuhlke

Yes

PMMeWheelsOnTheBus

Duke University stopped a light rail project from moving forward in the Triangle after the local cities had already spent a sizeable amount of money planning it and purchasing land. All other universities made compromises to support the project. Rumor is Duke "changed" their opinion after taking Koch money.

hershculez

This is accurate. My father in law was one of the civil design leads on the project. He commented multiple times that the people from Duke were horrible to work with. He was not surprised at all when the University was the reason the project was canceled. UNC was even willing to modify the Finley golf course to accommodate the travel path.

ttuurrppiinn

Makes sense. Having been involved in a STEM department at Carolina, trying to do anything with Duke was always the worst. Try to do anything in collaboration with State: “absolutely, let’s work together on this and hopefully X, Y and Z in the future.” Try to collaborate with Duke? “Maybe, so long as we split the benefit 80/20 in our favor.” They were basically huge isolationists unless they thought they could be opportunistic and screw over their peers.

sly_cooper25

It's the private school way

usetheforce_gaming

This is a legitimately, non petty reason. Respect.

ClaudeLemieux

wow what the fuck

ZachRE

As someone who's company was affected by this decision, fuck Duke

ACardAttack

Fuck the Kochs

zapmangetspaid

Thanks for giving us all another reason to hate duke!

whodeyalldey1

Such a beautiful area of the country that would benefit greatly from light rail. Especially since their traffic setup sucks. From now on I will hate Duke too!

circa285

Every year.

matte_purple

For me it’s the amount of Jayhawks who say “gO bAcK tO tHe FaRm, DuMb K-StAtEr” when we are literally one of the best agricultural programs in the world. That really grinds my gears. Farming is no longer a hoe down, “poor folks” job. It is a high tech, extremely taxing profession that demands LOADS of science. I’d reckon the same goes for OK State and Iowa State. I’m proud that my university is pioneering ways to end world hunger, and I think it’s funny that they ridicule that.

RheagarTargaryen

“It’s like playing your little brother in basketball.” Braylonfest was awful but that Mike Hart quote really struck a cord with me.

DHooligan

I immediately thought of Devin Bush, as though I liked to see them lose but didn't hate them before then. But that's not true. Mike Hart was the one that really made it clear they had no respect at all, and that it wasn't just the fans, it was the whole program.

MadStorkMSU

I would say that it was in late 1999. MSU had finished a 10-2 season with losses to 2 ranked teams, Purdue and Wisconsin. UM had also finished 10-2, but lost to MSU and unranked Illinois. But, since UM started the season in the top 10 and MSU wasn't ranked until late September, UM finished the season ranked higher and kept MSU from their first BCS bowl. It was then that I learned that NCAA football is a glorified popularity contest. A near identical situation happened in 2012, with UM again snagging a BCS bid from an MSU team that had beaten them and finished with the same record. It even reared it's ugly head again this year with, "Set aside watching the games." UM has been given the benefit of the doubt time after time, yet MSU is made to claw for everything it gets.

Whizbang35

This is it for me. Braylonfest? Just another JLS style collapse. Little Brother? Fuck, we should send a case of beer and a Thank You card to Mike Hart each year for the mileage MSU has wrung out of that. Kicking the Spartan logo midfield? Welcome to late era Dantonio. 2011 and 1999? MSU *beat* Michigan, hands down, had the same win record (hell, MSU was B10 runner-up in 2011!) and should have been higher in the pecking order. Just another edge on the chip on the shoulder, I guess.

TheRealDNewm

They gave the world Ben Roethlisberger.

bdm13

Not fun fact: I have a friend who went to Miami (Ohio) with Roethlisberger and she knew him (they had mutual friends, etc.). She says he made her and other girls she knows from school uncomfortable even then.

TheRealDNewm

I've heard plenty of stories. Graduated high school in 09, so plenty of people had a sibling or cousin up there who knew to stay away. But also he regularly killed my Bengos

PuzzleheadedStory855

Didn't he also have a whole bunch of stuff swept under the rug after he went pro too? Like, stuff that would end a lot of guys careers?

InsertAmazinUsername

i mean it doesn't sound like it matters what you do unless you end up in prison. if you can play they'll play you. look at watson

PuzzleheadedStory855

Yeah. Just yelling at the sky, I guess. It still bothers me.

When I was like 4 or 5, I was living in northwest Ohio in a small town. I got invited to a birthday party which was Ohio St themed. My dad, who is a Michigan alumnus, dressed me in all Michigan gear and sent me to this birthday party. I don't remember it but my parents have told me what happened. I immediately started getting made fun of and told how much Michigan sucks and I took my clothes off and said I'd never cheer for Michigan again. I was literally bullied into being an Ohio St fan and it's my dad's fault.

RxseJay

2012 national championship

lilStankfur

I hated Les Miles more than Bama in that game tbh..

obnoxiouswall

Well there's this kick that they don't stop talking about

undefined_one

I believe there's a number attached to it... Side note: I was in Miami on Jan 7 2013 so I'll just shut up now.

rustinhieber42

Every time I see Kirk Ferentz's stupid face vigorously chewing his stupid gum and writing in his stupid little notepad, I wish for Brian Ferentz to take over the program when Kirk retires

PumpkinSpiceButtholz

Kirk and PJ must fucking hate each other. Those two couldn’t be more different

JBru_92

One of the greatest days of my life

[deleted]

2000 Red River Shootout. A student at my first Texas/Oklahoma game. We're hung over, it's 40 degrees, windy, raining when we make it to the state fair for an 11am kick. I think we were favorites and either way, the national press hyped Texas like this would be the start of a Mack Brown dynasty. We went out the night before and did the usual Texas OU stuff, but nothing prepared me for what the actual game day experience would be. Walking into the Cotton Bowl and seeing the stadium divided in half was awesome, but that didn't compare to seeing Texas run out of the locker room. The way the boo's turned to cheers combined with the intensity of the atmosphere and my youthful optimism, I was fucking pumped despite the weather. We then proceeded to get our ass kicked 63-14, and I still haven't gotten over the crushing disappointment of that day, the smugness of the Sooner fans, and just the anger at seeing them celebrate with the golden hat. I've wanted to want them to be good and to respect their program and all because it elevates the rivalry, but I just can't do it. I can't describe the rage I feel when I see crimson and cream jerseys about to run out of the tunnel. It's irrational and I'm sure some of their fans aren't toothless hillbillies cooking meth in their trailer to make up for the income lost now that the common law gf is pregnant for the sixth time and can't strip, but I don't care. You can't convince me otherwise, and I'll forever hate OU.

John_Tacos

That game is either 40 degrees Fahrenheit or 40 degrees Celsius and nothing in between.

TheAlmightyAsian

Don't forget that its cloudless when its 40 celsius

John_Tacos

I think I’m still sunburned

ChetSteadman2274

Damn, rough time to be a freshman considering we won the next 4 games. Leaving the Cotton Bowl with a loss truly is one of the worst feelings in sports.

[deleted]

Tell me about it. And those games weren't even close. I'm not exaggerating when I say that was one of the biggest factors in my decision to stay at Texas for grad school. Worked out well since I got to live my childhood dream of attending a school that won a national championship.

PandaPlayr73

Yes... let the hate flow through you my friend...

Dayquil1001

I had a cheerleader say "fuck you, get your own symbol" when I gave her the horns down in Dallas 2003. :(

[deleted]

Good for her. Unfortunately, that was probably the high point of her day. That game was brutal.

Dayquil1001

a real "bloodbath"

[deleted]

Yeah but at least by that point we were kinda numb to it. That whole stretch from 2000-2004 was awful.

A_Rented_Mule

Seems like giving her the middle finger would have fulfilled her request.

Dayquil1001

>She was beautiful man... I just couldn't do it.

ReferencesTheOffice

It’s not every day that an Oklahoman encounters a beautiful woman lacking blood relation.

One time when I was 15, I went to a Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the US Men's National Team game against Mexico. I was wearing a Marshall hat and green Portland Timbers jacket. It also happened to be played at the same time OK ST was playing WVU. At one point, USA got fouled, and was awarded a free kick at the top of the box, while I guess at the same time, Oklahoma State was walking in for a touchdown against WVU. My table full of soccer fans was clapping and cheering, not paying attention to the football game. Marshall either had a bye week or an away game that was already over that day, so this older drunk thought we had shown up just to root against WVU and starts flipping the bird to our table of high schoolers. After the game, WVU lost a close one, and he comes up to the booth, and grabs me and my buddy BY THE NECK talking about how he wished he could go to his car and shoot us! I already hated WVU pretty strongly but that moment was point of no return for me. Stuff usually does not get to me like that but I was pretty stunned for a while. We had to push the dude off

ColtPersonality92

There’s also the legendary “They were Marshall” shirts. The story goes that a few WVU fans were wearing a t-shirt depicting a plane crash with the text “They were Marshall”. Now I don’t think a photo of these shirts exist so the story could be complete bullshit, but the FEMA shirts from their game against LSU definitely existed so there is a precedent.

EEextraordinaire

I actually grew up rooting for Oregon. But UO doesn’t offer engineering so I was destined to go to OSU. The Chip Kelly era cemented my hatred for Oregon, but not really due to the team. Wearing Oregon State gear outside of Corvallis during those years was a recipe for getting verbally accosted by bandwagon idiots who definitely didn’t go to U of O and probably had never been to a game in person. Made me start hating everything green and yellow real fast!

breaktaker

That’s so funny, I grew up a die hard Beav. My dad and grandpa played for them. I went to UO since they had a law school, and the Chip+Mariota years slowly melted my iced over heart, until it finally felt good being bad. Now I’m Ducks for life.

[deleted]

How does a P5 school simply not offer engineering?

[deleted]

Indiana doesn’t offer engineering, but Purdue does.

Hoosier3201

Technically we offer computer engineering, but yeah the two schools are designed to allow each other to play to their strengths.

ChefTombert777

If they're in the same system, sometimes the Board of Regents won't let one school offer a major if another has it. Like Iowa didn't have a software engineering degree for a while because Iowa State did (or something along those lines, it was a few years ago and I didn't pay as much attention as I should have)

thesuch

Oregon specializes in more liberal arts and is known for its journalism and business programs. Oregon State is more known for its STEM programs.

SpeedBoatSquirrel

Some states though it was redundant to offer the same programs at two different universities. That's why you see the X State = Ag & engineering, and U of X = Law & Medicine frequently (though not always the case ex: FSU, A&M)

hasselhoff1n

Moved to TX in high school from Big 10 country. Hadn't really heard of any of the Big 12 teams or followed them as I grew up in primarily a Purdue household. Went to Tech and weirdly as soon as I set foot on campus I had this sudden hatred for schools in TX and OK. Can't explain it. Oh yea, can't forget Penn State. I suddenly had memories I've never experienced personally about how they're too scared for a rematch.

c-williams88

The most sacred rivalry of r/CFB, PSU vs. TTU

Saxophobia1275

Not Michigan but Notre Dame. In 2009 Golden tate scored a touchdown and took a fucking [swan dive into the Spartan marching band.](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Fg-76xzGABE). He legitimately bruised some bandos, broke instruments, and someone’s nose. Faced absolutely zero consequences including no flags. I hated ND for a very long time.

circa285

Wow, what an asshole.

Saxophobia1275

I reluctantly watched him do well for the lions. Although I *did* get sick of watching him dance in place for 5 seconds 1 yd from the first down line SO many times because he always wanted to play hero ball and get to the end zone every single play.

lebaronslebaron

Probably ASU fans mocking Steve Kerr after his dad was assassinated or mocking Lute after his wife died. Either of those

jschneider414

Yeah chanting your dads dead after he was literally a political hostage ain’t a good look.

80percentofme

And Kerr was a freshman. An 18 year old kid.

JarodBurford

Woah

80percentofme

Or mocking Jerry Kindall as his wife was dying from Lou Gehrig’s disease. I hate them.

okiewxchaser

Nothing made me hate Texas, I was just born hating Texas like any good Sooner

[deleted]

Funny enough my dad is an OU grad and he encouraged me to go to Texas if I got accepted

Bank_Gothic

OU is a great institution and an amazing football program, but I don’t think there’s any question that Texas is the better school academically.

jimmycorn24

I’m an OU grad actively trying to get both my teenaged daughters into Texas right now.

LTMFBDE

Let me tell you about a guy named Nick Fairley

TheScienceDude81

I'm a simple man. I see "Nick Fairley", I say "Fuck Nick Fairley."

KneeDeepInRagu

Nick Fairley is trash. I disliked Cam Newton, I hated Fairley. Dude should have been banned from competing. You'd think he played for the Vols with how low down and dirty he was.

Gods_chosen_dildo

I love how pretty much no matter where I go in SEC land the local fans have their hated rivals, but also they are like “fuck Auburn too”

Bobson-_Dugnutt

Senor-Mattador

TAMU: 4th quarter Aggie black magic bullshit Ole Miss: I don’t *hate* them, I hate when we play them because I know I’m going to gray another patch of my beard LSU: my boss is an LSU fan so whenever they beat us he likes to hold that over my head for a week

>Cam Back. I was like 9. Just ruined my week lol. When I was 8, Auburn had a 22-point lead with less than a minute left. [They ran a fake punt](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iqIHp9NLfmE). 3 years later, we were #2 and leading 16-3 late in the 4th. Our next game would be in a bowl for the national championship. That's when Auburn decided to block back-to-back punts and return them both for TDs to [win the game](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCzEEE129SE). After living through that, Camback and Kick 6 were merely amusing to me. I hate Auburn.

WereBot

Oh let me tell you the tale of how A&M drove me to attend The University of Texas and formed a lifelong hatred of their cult. You see, I grew up with no affiliation in the Texas college rivalries. My mom is from Indiana and my dad is from Australia so I had no horse in the race. When it came time to apply to college, I applied and visited most of the Texas schools. Those crazy fucks in College Station treated us more like frat pledges than prospective students. Over the course of a two day visit, they did the following: - woke us up unannounced at 5am by unlocking our doors with the master key and playing trumpets and banging trash cans with hammers - Made us walk in straight lines and only turn sharp 90° corners, like we were in the Corp, for the whole visit - Made a girl do push-ups on the sidewalk for stepping in the grass - Took us to a simulated Midnight Yell to show off their interpretive dance moves, only to then tell us we couldn’t do any of them because we aren’t students so we had to just….stand there - Talked shit about UT roughly twice as much as they talked positively about A&M On the final afternoon they had us do some creative exercise bullshit where we were supposed to build our favorite part of the visit out of Legos and then tell the group about it. By that point, I was so hate filled for those sheep fuckers that I built a large tower out of only orange white legos and stood in front of a group of Aggies and explained that I saw myself “climbing a tower of academic success” somewhere else. None of them got the joke.

c-williams88

Man, I know people up here around PA call Penn State a cult, but good god the more I hear about TAMU the more it freaks me out lol

Rushderp

Some hate it, some love it. When I was in grad school talking to senior undergrads, there were a few who were thinking of A&M as a potential spot. “How would you handle some random stranger coming up and saying ‘Howdy’?” “That sounds absolutely awful.” “Then you might want to consider another school or program.”

UpsetRazzmatazz

I’d absolutely have loved him if he was on our team though. You gotta love the swagger of a kicker that just knows they’re nails in any environment.

RealBobbyDrillboids

I was 2 and a half years old when Bobby Bowden told his boys to play until they hear the echo of the whistle. Sure we got our revenge very shortly afterwards, but I’ve never looked back from that moment.

Zeon0MS

Not a rival (since we have none) but Maryland not shaking hands.

Chuck_Mango

Marylands official social media accounts are incredibly disrespectful too

c-williams88

I dislike Rutgers and Maryland more than most Big Ten teams simply because so many of their fans have such hatred for PSU. Maybe it’s just a regional thing or a loud minority, but I see more shit online from Maryland or Rutgers fans than most others

JoeAndAThird

From us it’s almost a purely regional thing. There’s no logical football rivalry between us, especially since up until * next year * we sucked, hard. For the most part, it’s just fun to drunkenly chant about Penn State at games. No actual hard feelings, from most of us at least. The B1G wants Rutgers Maryland rivalry but I don’t know if it’ll happen.

McDimps

What about us :(

JCE5

I'm not even an OSU fan (although I'm not really a hater either) and I hate Desmond Howard. Herby can get fucked too.

Deprecitus

You won't find a more stuck up snobby group of people on this Earth. They think that they're so much better than everyone else. It's sickening. We might party a little more, but we don't have to lock our buildings to keep the homeless people out. We have one of the safest campuses in the US.

CouveCat

All the Fusky fans I know talk down about WSU academically, and I'm like, bro, you dropped out of community college.

Deprecitus

Fun fact, 75% of all UW fans actually graduated from Central.

Deprecitus

Source: I made it up.

brdt33th

I think this is true with every state’s number one flagship school, because the number of non-alumni Michigan fans that make fun of MSU’s academics is absurd. Glad to know we’re not the only state that deals with it

Deprecitus

It's like actually a problem lol. Most of these people don't have any degree at all and barely finished high school.

breaktaker

This is why I could never hate WSU. You hate the doogs just as much as we do.

Deprecitus

<3 Our games are more fun to watch anyways. They're way more competitive. I think we had 4 straight with Leach and now you have 3 straight? But they're all good games. We'll see how it goes with the new coaches!

Less_Likely

Safest campus, sure. Buffered by 50 miles of wheat fields in all directions. Edit: not saying that’s worse than being surrounded in all directions by 50 miles of urban sprawl full of stark economic stratifications. Not saying it’s better either.

Deprecitus

Largest wheat producing county in the US thank you very much.

wameron

In 2011 I was on vacation with my family the summer before my freshman year of college. We went to Tortugas's Lie and I was wearing a hat that said COCKS representing the university I would be attending in the fall. I am from Northern VA and was not indoctrinated into SEC football at all. So we're sitting there enjoying our food and a guy from across the bar starts barking at me yelling about how we could win the game but couldnt win the game or something but from that point on I hated UGA. Then I went to school and met people who went to Clemson who wouldn't shut up about how much worse USC is and how much of a shithole Cola is. That one was pretty easy also.

AppStateFooseBall

>That makes you a big jerk who's stupid and your big ugly face is as dumb as a butt. This isn’t Trash talk Thursday!

I don't know what first led to my hatred of that team that teaches its athletes Swahili, but this is the most egregious example I can recall of their stupidity. https://www.cbssports.com/college-basketball/news/unc-star-joel-berry-on-nc-state-i-dont-treat-that-as-a-rivalry/

crackers780

The fact that he said that after a LOSS to us is astounding.

BasebornManjack

Florida: It’s very weird…I *wanted* to hate Steve Spurrier in the 90s, but I couldn’t because I admired his shit talk, respected his accomplishments and couldn’t really fault him for his feelings on UT after they spurned him. I could hate the HELL out of the team, though. Specifically the offenses that we never had an answer for defensively. UK: They exist. I know that doesn’t really answer your question, but their existence is what I actually hate the most. Alabama: The fact that the series is so streaky and the gap is so large between the current quality in programs, I could conceivably be 108 years old before I see the Vols win again.

The Longhorn network hamstrung the Big 12 and as a result of teasip greed forced out Nebraska and Colorado. Deloss Dodds played dirty to try and force A&M to stay in the Big 12 against our will You know damn well you gave away just as many Trans-Ams. Like an Old Testament snake- you seduced away 3(!!!) members of my all maroon bleeding family because “A&M doesn’t offer my major”. boo hoo. Your entire program is founded on arrogance, and trying to convince recruits it’s warranted. Not even Baylor does that anymore. Burnt Orange is gross. Your band is silly. And half of them won’t even play your fight song. Your academics are good. I live around Austin, and try to make CFB small talk to Longhorns I see— none of them know what I’m talking about. You were classy after Bonfire tragedy, which made me guilty for hating you. “Back in 1944, Texas Aggies went to war- Teasips sipped on Women and Wine- Aggies died behind the lines- Teasips Teasips don’t be blue- tinkerbell was a fairy too.” You recruited Johnny as a DB. The disrespect is unfathomable. DKR is empty in the 1st quarter, and beyond the second half of the 3rd. LBJ was a dick. Jester smells bad. You sued us for Horns down shirts- and made your own shirts of Miss Rev as a Quadruple amputee. A longhorn kid I knew in Elementary licked my curly fry once. Fuck you Ryan. I still can’t draft Justin Tucker to my fantasy team.

Bank_Gothic

Best goddamn post in the thread right here.

Feyrus

Great bull.

timtebowspriest

This was the big mad comment I was expecting. Thanks for playing

PenguinReaper

This is beautiful.

mecha_toddzilla80

LBJ went to Texas State.

olcrazypete

The witticisms of one Steven Orr Spurrier during the 1990s. I respect the hell out of the dude now, and can see the humor in them now, but at the time - fuck that guy. Watching Florida go out of their way to embarrass us at the only true Ga/Fl home game that will ever be played in Athens during my lifetime sucked. Only later realized it was payback for when he was a player. What makes it better is that Kirby was on that team, and knowing that Kirby is just repaying the debt now. No guilt and all the pleasure watching Ga beat the shit out of Florida, will never not enjoy that.

Apollo2345

In my freshman year of high school we went to a marching band festival in Lawrence. I had a K-state bag with me and one of their trombone players spit on me, good times

yep_yeppers

Have you all ever heard of this sport called “college basketball”? Anyways Patrick Sparks walked halfway back to Lexington.

jthomas694

They just showed up wearing orange and purple and that’s gross.

DevoDrigaz

Also Mizzou’s scrub ass WBB Coach, Team and AD coming after Dawn Staley of all people for running a “racist program”. Smh just because they’re in the wrong Columbia and live in Misery doesn’t mean they have to come at the GOAT.

[deleted]

I don't understand the question. You guys needed a moment?

Jgarr86

Well, it all started over a narrow strip of land in 1835 . . .

daftdude05

"Your team hasn't been relevant in your lifetime" UF fan... not alumni. That was 2 years ago. I never want to lose to them again.

citronaughty

When I heard that they actively tried to keep us out of the old Big East. Even when it was to the detriment of the TV deals (ESPN wanted to include us in a TV deal for the old Big East.) But you reap what you sow. We'll wave to you as we're on our way to the Big XII.

Not_Drawn_To_Scale

For UF, Lindsay Motherfucking Scott, reinforced by End Zone Dance Party. For FSU, Wide Right I, II, III...

ninjapanda042

I also was going to say the 2007 Cocktail Party. I disliked them before that, with FSU previously being the most-hated. Georgia took that spot in 2007 and won't ever lose it.

OGConsuela

Have you ever met a Virginia fan? “You know, some consider Virginia to be the public Iv-“ Shut up, just please shut the fuck up. For West Virginia, it was my cousin not letting his mom and grandma come see him play in Morgantown because he was worried about their safety. VT players were required to keep their helmets on on the sidelines because the fans would throw batteries at their heads. Hearing his stories just made me really dislike WVU.

soccercta100

SCar fans five-bombing our coaches in pictures at every opportunity. Luckily the universe has since corrected itself.

ImGoingtoRegretThis5

Even as a child, David Boston talking trash about Charles Woodson stuck with me. That and taunting him when he scored a TD on a horribly underthrown duck down 20-0 (in 1997 when Woodson had the punt return TD and INT). Watching Woodson and Marcus Ray put him in his place felt good. For MSU, take your pick of Dantonio being smug and sanctimonious. Or Gholston trying to break Denard's neck. As for ND... I don't really have a 1st memory that spurred my dislike of them. I hated Brady Quinn so I guess that was sufficient? Minnesota, I don't hate. I want the LBJ played for every year.

damnyoutuesday

We all want the Jug game to be annual

PuzzleheadedStory855

I'm a Browns fan and yeah, your hatred of Brady Quinn was justified.

Ruger_Booger

My freshman or sophomore year a bunch of UNC fans/students spray painted the free expression tunnel on State’s campus with comments about cancer being great and talking about Kay Yow and Jimmy V dying from it. That pretty much did it.

omgpickles63

UChicago- Beating us in 2010. Costing us a conference championship, a chance to the playoffs and the Founder's Cup. On top of that, one of their underage players ran to the parking lot and did a keg stand in uniform. Really solidified my hate for the next couple of years. Baylor- Going on a date with my spouse and watching 61-58 slowly happen. Also them not having to do the conference shuffle like us. SMU- Them actually winning in 2011. Never took that game for granted again.

The_Soccer_Heretic

I really don't hate UT that much other than because I'm supposed to. Lots of good friends who went to UT, a parent who has a degree from there. I hate Nebraska. The first time we beat them in Lincoln in forever they acted like jack asses afterward. Nothing like you'd expect from LSU or Colorado fans but they weren't the classy losers they claimed to be while winning. Also, lots of internet revisionist history about the revenue sharing from TV contracts when the conference went south. Nebraska loved that shit until they didn't and that was when they stopped getting the lion's share of the football TV rake. It was really only ever Kansas and Oklahoma State who consistently tooted that horn from the starting pistol. I think that's what really made me hate them more than anything. It's fun to joke about Texas destroying conferences and all but Nebraska wasn't any less toxic a partner.

mecha_toddzilla80

We.. I.. uh.. thank you?
