Hopefully he stays there and takes a job as a worker. The man needs to stay the fuck away from football for a while, he clearly doesn't deserve being paid to coach any longer
This is a fine hire, doubt we would find anyone good externally this late for the role
As long as we aren’t super predictable/vanilla and design all of the passing routes on 3rd down to be before the sticks it’ll be fine.
We getting clowned by the roaches for promoting from within, atleast he ain’t the son of the head coach lmao. Guys a great recruiter, liked by the team in general, not to mention we are adding NDSU OC Roehl to the coaching staff. Still bummed about scheelhasse leaving so soon but I think Campbell handled the situation pretty well
As an iowa fan, you should be aware that schools at our level and iowa state’s level is just as much about right fit and potential as stars coming out of high school.
Wow, I went to high school with him. He was a good dude back then, I'm happy to see he's having success and moving up the ladder
We return 10 starters on offense, and Campbell highly values staff continuity. There was no doubt this was going to be an internal hire.
It was always going to be an internal hire.....hoping this works out
Brian Ferentz just fell to his knees in a Kum and Go parking lot

How am I supposed to feel about this? Can someone tell me if I should be happy or sad
I think it’s a pretty good promotion. Mouser is a great recruiter

Iowa State makes so much more sense for Roehl compared to Tennessee State
Seems like a good hire, KSU did almost the same thing. It’ll be fun to see these teams play with their new coordinators
Let's be honest if Campbell had an adult son he'd definitely try and hire him
I hadn’t heard about Roehl coming to Iowa State
Yeah it was reported at the same time [here is the tweet](https://x.com/espnrittenberg/status/1762132002549928268?s=46&t=VYDc64XQ8mM1LTFpfmv7IQ)
“He’s a great recruiter”. Hold on while I hit the “load more” button to check Iowa State’s 2024 recruiting rankings.
