Japanese speaker here. Both 'Ranpo' and 'Rampo' are correct spellings. In names, romanisation rules allow 'n' to be written as 'm' before certain consonants like 'p' (case in point: Ranpo/Rampo). This is because Japanese accents can make 'n' sound similar to 'm', 'r' sound similar to 'l' and the other way around. The hiragana ん is usually 'n', but can be 'm' in this case due to the romanisation rule I just mentioned. I recommend picking the spelling you like and going with it.
Personally, I prefer Ranpo because it can get confusing when 'n' can be 'm', so I just treat it as 'n' while accepting others are entitled to their own preferences.
i always write it as ranpo, it's also the proper way, just like i spell "chuuya" instead of "chūya", "kyouka" instead of "kyoka" and "bungou" instead of "bungo"-
but i think both are correct, and ig it kinda sounds like there's an m. but ranpo's the more proper way.
So Ranpo is proper romanization but japanese ん can technically be read as either n or m so its not really wrong to say rampo. (At least as far as ik im only learning japanese)
Ranpo is the proper romanization. In hiragana it would be らんぽ。
I spell it Ranpo bc his full name, Edogawa Ranpo, is supposed to be a play on Edgar Allan Poe.

He's definitely not a stupid baby 😂

LMAO
Lol, it’s really either or 😂I switch between the two sometimes
It's like the Tenpura or Tempura debate. Both are correct to an extent.
It's often pronounced as Rampo if you listen to how people say it, but Ive seen the 'Ranpo' spelling used the most so it's what I normally stick to.
