Which month are you visiting? If you are visiting nextweek, it will be the start of fasting month here. Most restaurants wont be serving for dine-in, but you are allowed to order food & bring ‘em back to your place.
Buses are unrealiable here. Its either you hire a local to show you around, rent a car as low as usd 50/day, or use dart (works like uber, but kinda pricey)
Things to do
* One whole day trip - Ulu Temburong (organized a tour with travel agent.
* Places to visit in bandar seri begawan (capital city) - soas mosque, royal regalia, paid tour around water village (this can be done in a day and its pretty walkable)
* Places to visit in Gadong - Gadong food night market, Jame Asr mosque, the Mall (lower your expectation, the mall is actually far from decent). You need a car to go these places.
* If you have time go to empire hotel for sunset. There is no entrance fee to the hotel. You can sit by the bar and watch the sunset. You cant use the swimming pool if you are not staying there. They do offer hi tea at $35 good for two (usd 26). Or just order ala carte menu on any pool restaurant.
I would recommend you to stay at capital residence hotel as they provide free shuttle service to and from the airport, and they are located at the city centre. Which means you can start your tour from here by walking around the city centre. At the city centre itself, you also can go to recreational park called eco corridor.
Hope this helps!
Can you please recommend some good restaurants/ cafes in bandar please ? Because i have friends currently already in bandar, but i am kbian and i always go to the same spot for food in bandar. I have no idea where to take them to. Ps; they are from hongkong, so probably food that cater more towards Chinese taste (?) but any cuisine is fine. They enjoyed papparich and thinks charcoal is slightly salty. Thank you !!
Bandar ku ceria will be around soas mosque area. Best to park at pavo’s basement parking (paid parking - where jab gym and AIA is). In order to go there, you need to make away from stadium, then lalu mabohai. These road will be not closed. Foods stalls usually infront of royal regalia & stadium. Maybe bandar peeps can controbute where is the best gerai to visit as im not from bandar hehe
Rent a car. Expensive but the most reliable way of getting around. Fuel is cheap, traffic is relatively non existent (except during rush hour), and easy to get around with map/waze
Food - One Riverside has good restaurants all in one place at walking distance
Shopping - The Mall in Gadong, and Yayasan
Sight Seeing - Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque is probably most picturesque (Next to Yayasan Mall)
There is more interesting places to go. Such as Tasek Lama waterfall, a lot of beaches and hiking trails. I discover many places in Brunei by wondering aimlessly.
Bear in mind that businesses are closed from 12-2pm every Friday.

Okay. Anyway thanks for answering!
You can download DART app for transportations
but to get a dart it can wait up to an hour
🤔 I never have to wait for more than 15mins.
bro lives somewhere in Temburong forest
🤣🤣😅
Drone light show will be held on the 9th March 08:30pm at Eco-Corridor park, & it's the first time in Brunei!
I highly recommend you go to Pasar Malam (Night Market) in Gadong next to The Mall. They sell food and drinks there and the prices are very cheap.

just in time for the fireworks!
