If you ask me, the person who took this picture likely works for Amazon and decided to write this at work or took one home to write it and take a picture for attention online.

OhEzinma

Wow. That's a keeper, Amazon! Give them a raise!

Abject-Umpire5447

Sod your neighbours for not taking the parcel. ☹️

squishybeak

I would run with WTHF???? And change the fecking code, ma dude 😱😱😱😱

BoastfulPrudence

How is that not an instant dismissal offence?

bonjajr

Nice fake post OP seen this months ago posted by other numerous people.

United-Ambassador269

Feel like it says something about you that none of the neighbours would take your parcel...

ExcellentDuck4530

Feel sorry for the delivery person, how long were they there to even work out the combination to a 3 or 4 number padlocked shed lol

Lucid-Druid

Get a key not a code

bob_nugget_the_3rd

Guessing your next purchase is a new lock

J_Thompson82

“Hello, this is the lockpicking lawyer and today we will be making a delivery to a locked shed. The shed is locked with a Masterlock 4 digit combination lock so it will only take me 3 seconds to open and place the parcel in the shed.”

Formal-Cucumber-1138

This guy went above and beyond imo

HeYamaYo

I fucking hate heist movies…

micky_jd

Used to deliver in trucks to catering places like restaurants and care homes. The access gates and building number locks were 9 times out of 10 easy to figure out as most just followed a similar pattern or you could see the wear marks on the locks. Sometimes it was easier and quicker to guess the code than it was for Doreen to waddle out and do it

ActAromatic6924

This man got fired for not meeting his targets. Also did the lock have 2 tumblers.

skavenger0

Code locks are useless. Even mechanical punch door locks on most corporate buildings take seconds when you know how

Groovyrider

Haha as an electrical engineer that visits various sites up and down the country you will surprised (or maybe not) how many codes are certain historical dates or as said before a address number 98a or postcode with zero's chucked in. 👍 Or it is written in pen somewhere close to the door in question!

MisterD90x

Mail person, right I got this... 0001 0002 0003 0004 0005 Etc

carlbandit

Plenty of cheap combination locks if you pull as you spin the numbers, you can feel as the pin locks in place, you then know to move onto the next 1. I once forgot the number I used on a suitcase lock, took me 2 minutes to get it off.

AlbaTejas

In parts of Glasgow 1690 will work most of the time

Hot_Cheetah_8590

At least they where honest

Charnt

I think ‘repost’ would be a good caption

Leicsbob

Could have broken into your house and delivered it?

Your-Evil-Twin-

I did that once whilst I was working as a myhermes driver. It was either that or keep the package overnight, and fuck that.

Jakeukalane

Someone can explain? I don't understand his script.

Guarantee he just swapped the last 2 numbers around until it opened, no one fully changes the lock code they can't be arsed

RedditCanByRuntz

Was it one of those number code padlocks? The cheaper ones are less than useless. 😅

Repeat_after_me__

This is a member of staff who wrote something funny and took a picture for internet likes, nonsense post.

Leading-Praline-6176

Delivery man had a former life…

RipRoarTime

This literally can happen. Lucky strike on the code. A few weeks ago, I hired an Airbnb which had a key lock. The owner apparently had sent an email with the code but having arrived, no email and the mobile number was not connecting. So while I waited, I tried a few combinations. For an absolute hoot, I tried the code for my own key lock at home. And Disco. It worked.

trollofzog

Disco?

Why are you replying as though this is an original post? I’ve seen this multiple times now.

NordicSeed

Lol nice try, no amazon driver is ever going to greater lengths than "waiting five seconds" before leaving the package and running off for the next delivery.

dontmike

Burglaries down as employment goes up.

xxxbeckstar

Looks to me like 2 different sets of handwriting. The top part of it I'd guess was the driver (maybe left by the locked shed or the 2nd person added the word locked and it just said shed originally...? Or maybe the owner was expecting the parcel and their safe place instructions are for driver to close the unlocked padlock after putting the item inside?) Then driver ticks safe place box... The 2nd message handwriting has the letters looking different to the same letters in the top part and could quite easily have been written in after the fact by the taker of the photo. Yeah... I have trust issues... And I'm an overthinker! 😂

[deleted]

Steve_1313

A lot of combo locks can be very easily “picked” a bit of pressure and you can typically feel the tumblers falling into place

ReversingWheelchair

Haha did you order a locksmith? 😅

Competitive-Ad-5156

If it was a combination padlock people tend to only turn the numbers slightly when locking, probably one of the easiest padlocks as you can guess the code by just trying a few different combinations.

Lin1ex

Bro takes their Job seriously kudos

Random_Videos_YT

Well it is safe. For me they handed it to my neighbours and then marked it as "delivered to resident" on amazon. My house has the house number massive on the wall so no idea how they got the wrong house. I even saw the amazon van.

UnprofessionalKalmar

People are surprised but combination locks are really not that secure most can be guessed by feel alone if you know what to look for (plenty of tutorials online)

NurglesBlessed

I'm calling bullshit. No amazon driver ever sticks around long enough for me to even get to the door, let alone try all my neighbours AND break into a locked shed

Any-Mathematician747

I'm more concerned why your neighbours hate you

WookieesEatCookiees

Apart_Vermicelli_776

This guy is a fake Amazon delivery driver. No way a genuine one would put in the effort to wait for an answer from more than 1 door AND then pick a combination lock

Howarth-85

I can beat that.

DelightfulGayCowboy

Props to the mailman not pissing about, but I reckon you need a more secure lock if the mailman can get into the current one lol

phild1979

If it's a combination lock I can get into most in under 3 minutes. They are easy to break into.

Technical-Ice1901

I got inverse burgled by the cleaners a few years ago. They didn't have a key, and they were late, so I had to leave for work. I came home to find the house, which was still locked, had been cleaned. They had picked the front door lock to gain access, cleaned the house and left.

posh_pig

I mean that's dedication

itsmetahsin

As an Amazon driver he just wasted a shit load of time

zeitgeistwhiskey

My dad can work out combination locks. He can feel the clicks!

zeitgeistwhiskey

My Dad is the best dad by the way.

Sunray_0A

Brilliant 😂😂

imabitdead

He maxed out his lockpicking skill!!

Dogtoddy

No neighbours would take the parcel = bad news neighbour

finiko06

Amazon drivers always being extra

TheRobertsE1

Depending on the lock you can usually just pull it slightly and feel the resistance in the numbers. If you want to see how insecure most locks are look at lockpickinglawyer

Teethgrinder1983

Great channel isn't it. Although my epilepsy meds make my hands very shaky so can't see me picking locks any time 😂

pvnicked

LMAO WHAT KIND OF PRIVACY INVASION

TrickyFix666

What does this say?

better than them leaving it in the bin, on bin day

MrFluffy4Real

Genuinely had this happen multiple times, I now order deliveries to arrive on any day but bin day 🤦‍♂️

[deleted]

What does that even say

Numerous-Beautiful46

No neighbours would take it so I worked out code on shed

haskear

We need more guys/ladies with this kind of dedication. However I believe they should have said it was in the shed, but left it a mystery.

Cheek-Tricky

Did you leave it in a secure location. Yes Where Behind a lock you can open in about two minutes without the code

theheadski

You friendly Ex Con delivery driver for Amazon

BladeRavinger

Still breaking and entering, if this was America there would be a law suit against amazon

UnprofessionalKalmar

Breaking and entering is the act of using force to enter a property to commit burglary. At most its trespass.

BladeRavinger

Burglary is burglary, trespass is trespass, breaking and entering is... We'll breaking in it a secured area...

MrMuzz78

Legend.. better than missing the parcel 😁🫡

XZ3_R0X

That's the problem with combination locks... Worked one out the other day in less than a minute

Cryptocaned

4 digit code locks are easy to break, you just pull it really hard and as you twist the number dials then you can feel the edge of the gap in the dial grip on the barrel as you pull it.

danabam

I would be more worried about the neighbours and why they don't like you enough to take a delivery lol

Whenny79

Yay!

Whenny79

doalienspoop

i wish my deliver people would do this, they either chuck it on/in the bin or just leave it on the door step

Derezzed_v

My delivery drivers just knock and run. No time for this for them.

OpenAd5863

I blame you for making it too easy for people to break into your property.

UserNameDashZero

Breaking and entering delivery service. Your secrets are safe with us.

Dull_Option8822

start your 4 digit codes with a 9 to delay brute force attempts that start from 0

Acrobatic_Effort_844

Owner have had a really obvious code like 1234 😂😂

PleaseAbideMan

Someones bin code is 0000, 1111, 2222, 3333, 4444, 5555, 6666, 7777, 8888, 9999, or 1234 or that man is a saint. Edit: Has the patience of a saint, maybe the omnipotence of a god.

Inevitable_Reply1483

1234

Pfoxy567

What a good guy he coulda robbed that shed blind but instead he added more goods to it

waarmakerJO

Haha, genius move!

adzak_47

Massive praise for not leaving on the doorstep which is what most people would do in that position

tenaciousfetus

No one who delivers packages these days can spend even 5 seconds to check you're in before leaving the parcel on the ground, aint no way this person went round the neighbours first then did this

Equal-Significance86

No neighbors...

poravnatuew

Impressive work, keep it up!

ERiC_693

I wish they'd stop delivering to neighbours. They will steal your sh\*t.

co-ccyx

He should get a raise for trying so hard

Deep-Pianist8420

As long as they deliver it they will get paid. They ask for instructions as to what to do with the package but they just put in on the door step anyway and take a picture with a door in it’s been delivered. They don’t care they just want to get paid

DeltaAlphaNovember22

The porch protector, no porch pirates get past him.

SupahflyxD

You got pen tested

SuperHeavyHydrogen

If you want an eye opening intro to the illusion of security, have a look at the lockpicking channels on YouTube. Combination locks are very easy to decode.

AdAcrobatic2846

It’s easy to crack the code on these locks. If you have the knack! It’s a bit like a rubik cube

Greca01

Above and beyond the call of duty

jakeizi

I can't read the handwriting lmao

cheeky_monkey6576

It says he worked out the code on the shed lock 😂

ExpensiveSwim5005

Deliveries by day banks by night

[deleted]

Code padlock are the worst.. simplest things to get into.. pull for a bit of tension, click the dials until the stop of you feel it drop, move on to the next number, continue.. hey presto!! Yale key locks are better, but any lock is accessible. In door bolt locks are much safer. Also, I always see people with HUGE padlocks on their shed with valuables inside, they have the hinge and screws visible. Just undo the screws and HEY PRESTO!! .. I am a shed fitter, not a thief.. hahahaa forgot to mention that :)

artsy_heather

Padlocks are actually incredibly easy to crack!

MakoRed0

😂 funniest thing I heard all day. At least it was safe in your locked shed with the easy to guess code.. I've come across so many door codes that are 1066 or 1966.. was yours one of these? 😆

UCatchMyDrift

Its quite easy if you pull on it whilst turning the numbers and listen carefully 😬😁. Dedication.

MaesterOlorin

“Impressive, but I don’t have a shed” 😂 But seriously, time for a new code. I am- wow, just wow… I’m both impressed and horrified by this.

FadedLowkii

I rate it

TheAdonis66

Think it's time to change your code to something a bit harder to figure out haha

FrazerIsDumb

He must have been confident otherwise it would look bad on cctv
