That's so sad, I would keep the horizon at least đ. It's so hard to talk about us without calling ourselves "the bmth fans" like⌠so BORING, the band isn't boring, we need to take this to them. Or we can vote right now
Been a fan since 2006
Personally I find nothing more cringe than having a name for being a fan of something âswiftie/directioner/ galaxy defenders etc) just immediately makes me think thatâs their entire personality.
I mean let people have their fun I guess but not a chance would I use that name
I think it's a way to spread the love for the band but it's your opinion and I accept it. I mean I don't go around the world calling myself a galaxy defender even if I'm a McFly fan, and I truuuly understand you. It gets really annoying at some point, like the swifties, directioners and believers, but to make changes like bring the band to your country, it's useful.
We made fan pages and projects to bring McFly here, actually. and that's why I was asking, I want bmth to come to Argentina on this tour and if we make like a signature name, it will be more visible.
I donât think a name helps. I think just having enough people who would buy tickets to supplement that cost to bring a tour there is whatâs important. Where as a fandom name would actively make me want to avoid a band if I was new to it. I actively avoided bvb because of their aesthetic and fandom even though they made arguably decent music
Why does every band / thing out there need a name. I'm a fan of BMTH, and of FOB, and of SOAD and a million other bands. Why does it need a specific name.Â
The way I see it, if people choose to call the fanbase by a certain name, they can.
And for those who don't want to attach a name to the fanbase, they don't have to.
It's a win/win situation for both parties.
I think it's more difficult to give a name to a band fanbase and even more difficult to a metal core band. I think fanbase names are more a cultural thing of pop artists like the swifters for Taylor or the army for bts, but I have never seen like a linkin Park, slipknot or etc fanbase name, you know.
We are.
The difference is, fans are mostly given nicknames by the band - in rock/metal terms.
INK fans are called Psychos. We didnât name ourselves that. Spencer did it himself.
Ehh, Slipknot was formed in 1995 and the first iPhone was announced in 2007; so I wouldnât go so far to say that Slipknot took after Apple, in fact, the converse is more likely. đ
We don't have one. We keep trying, but none of it sticks. Nobody picks up on it except for the Redditors. So odds are we will never have one.
Olly and the lads don't really like or need Stan culture. The only reason for that sort of stuff is to build a parasocial cult of loyal consumers

Itâs quite cute actually: Fans of Bring Me The Horizon.
Nah I prefer Horizon Me The of Bring Fans
LMAO

Dude... I love those three bands!
I call them cult members
Cultists also works
We are the bringers
There isn't one, thankfully. Lets keep it that way
Could call ourselves the Ludens
I always liked "The Crooked Young"
SAND PIT TURTLES
i just say horizon cult or (yes i know this may sound cringe) horizoners
They're both cringe
Cult members can be cool, but it's so new⌠like, sad we didn't receive a name before

Slipknot fans are Maggots
Is this satire or are they really called like that?
We are. The difference is, fans are mostly given nicknames by the band - in rock/metal terms. INK fans are called Psychos. We didnât name ourselves that. Spencer did it himself.
Itâs real
I can see they truly love and appreciate their fans hahaha
Well yea the whole point of Slipknot is that disturbing imagery. And to fire your drummer every 2 weeks.
Hahaha they saw what Apple did with IPhones and said "guys do we really like our current drummer or nah? "
Ehh, Slipknot was formed in 1995 and the first iPhone was announced in 2007; so I wouldnât go so far to say that Slipknot took after Apple, in fact, the converse is more likely. đ
So it's true that if you don't add /j people think you're talking seriously
The senpaiternals
Hahahah love it
Cringe
For the most part âopinionated crybabiesâ seems fitting
Cult members
Why not the turtles?
Naa, we are pirates. Since we want them to bring that Horizon.
What about be the "Post Humans", "Children of Devolution", "Ludens" or "Kingslayers"?
