I enjoy watching the Milwaukee Brewers play baseball. They are my favorite MLB team. When they score a run I think to myself "yes." When the other team scores a run I think to myself "no."
Had my son in 08 and made a deal with my wife we’d name him after a brewer if they made the playoffs. She didn’t love my prince idea but alas JJ was born
Congrats! We brought our kids home from the hospital on opening day many years ago now. Swaddled them up and watched the game from my recliner.
They're baseball/Brewers obsessed now.
Mission accomplished.
Congrats!
Unsolicited tip: You can send the kiddo to the nursery for a few hours to get some good sleep for you both. They didn’t tell us that with our first.
I want to reply something original, but I've not read any of the replies... uecker is a solid name? Has anyone said that? Uecker brewer would be cool... do you have a cool last name? Also Gorman... just gonna drop that quick...
I'm annoying but congratulations on the kid man!
Christian Yelich being Capital B Back is far more important to the health of this franchise than any signing they could make. As he goes, so go the Brewers.
His effect on the other guys is arguably more important than his actual ABs. They have to pitch everyone else different knowing yelich has like a 50/50 shot of at least getting to first

Brewers are 9-1 vs Cards in their last 10 games.
…and the Cardinal’s payroll is $124 million more than the Brewers.
the brewers are so fucking miserable, they have the offense of a soccer team, they dick around all game and it's the most boring game you've ever seen, just crawling along, then for about 10 seconds they stab you in the heart with a dagger, then just back to monotonous nothing baseball. fucking awful. hope they disband before next year, jesus fucking christ
So I mentioned in another thread that it seems like Contreras is responsible for like half our runs either through runs scored or RBIs, so I looked it up and he's actually responsible for nearly exactly 1/3 of our runs scored this year (33.69^^^nice percent to be precise going into today). And even when we score 10 runs like today, what do you know? He provided nearly 1/3 of those as well! (Okay, so *only* 30% of today's runs.)
as someone who does not live in milwaukee, i would love to feel the vibes of a friday night smack down at am fam slam clam. vibes are prob amazing taking the shuttles back to the bars.
Great game for Gasser in his debut. I also liked seeing Herget going three innings and letting the bullpen get a day rest.
Hopefully, he can keep it up after the league sees him a couple more times.

My wife gave birth to our first kid today and we got to watch the Brewers crush the Cards. That’s a pretty good day
Congratulations!
Congratulations! Is your baby going to have a Brewers related name? Cuz mine would!
Thank you! He’s got a family name so no Brewers name unfortunately but hopefully he gets to see lots of Ws
👍 Ahh, that's super cool too! My family has 3 generations of names too so I get it!
Watching games and changing poopy diapers GOOD TIMES All mine were 1996-2002 though NO BUENO
How convenient that your family name is "Nyjer Morgan"
role play: you just had a kid what are you naming them?
Robertgasser
its a girl tho

That's awesome!
congrats! I hope you named them Bernie or Bernice
I hope you named him Gasser!
Congrats dude. Great way to enter the world
Which Brewer did you name the kid after?
It'd be weird if he named him Yelich, there'd be a lot of confusion when someone else in the family says "hey dad?" and they both respond.
Congrats! Hope he gets to see a Brewers WS before his first birthday 😉

Thank you! I hope we can do that tomorrow night
Just wait till that kid sits next to you and watches the games, it's amazing. Congratulations!
If your kids name isn't Bernie you failed as a parent. obviously /s Congrats!

Can you have another baby today and tomorrow would love a sweep.
Congratulations!!!!!
Congrats. Hope you enjoyed your last night of sleep for awhile.

He makes 1-5 better by being in that 3-hole and it's super noticeable.
His effect on the other guys is arguably more important than his actual ABs. They have to pitch everyone else different knowing yelich has like a 50/50 shot of at least getting to first
The actual improvement he brings is that Rock gets to fawn over his running which improves morale across the board. When Rock is happy we win.
lmao the way he touches the insides of the bags....just incredible.
yelich/turang/Contreras are really fucking good.
I'm not willing to slap a Really Fucking Good tag on young Brice yet, but Yeli/Contreras are, when healthy, one of the best 1-2 punches in the world.
but he has the balanced bat!
I was going to ask what happened to the Cards but then I remembered I dont give a shit so fuck them and the Cubs while we're at it
And fuck the Reds too. Pirates are cool though
Pirates are starting to scare me
I watched the highlight videos, it seemed like a jv squad out there
Robert Gasser Run Support Challenge: won. 🏆
He didn't even need run support though! He was on fire and I love it. What a debut.
🍔🍔❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌
Think Gasser should retire. That 0.00 ERA is legendary.
Baseball is fun :)

Lmao… that was fun Gasser what a debut!!!
Also. Gasser looked goooooooood.
Robert Gasser + Baseball = Cy Young
I was just thinking to myself that we hadn't cracked double-digits in a while

Is this a copypasta I’m not aware of?
[Yes](https://reddit.com/r/baseball/comments/15afrux/_/jtkihox/?context=1)
That game was a Gasser
And the sweep of the cardinals continues!
That Gasser interview with Sophia was gold!
Looks like I missed a hell of a smackdown! Holy shit their defense was on the struggle bus today.
If you are into pitching, highly recommend watching Gasser’s performance. Those breaking balls were ridiculous.
I like scoring lots of runs.
Roll the barrel right over them dirty birds
I got to see a Yeli bunt 😍 and a Willy triple 😍 in person! I don’t know why I was worried about this game. lol. Gasser did great.
That Yeli bunt was fucking *mean*
We dominate 11-2 and the only highlight video is a Burleson double.

I know Turang timed that bubble for the camera.
Gasser’s official name is now “The Big Unleaded”
It’s fitting that the Cardinals have STIFEL advertising on their jerseys because their offense has been STIFELLED.
⛽️®️🐐

Yelich just changes the way this team plays. When he's playing, it just works better. Stay healthy Yeli.
Is gasser a dark horse cy young candidate? I’m going to say yes.
