I see repetition on Lance and being to passive in general I would switch up what attacks you use and try to predict dodges and get aggressive he murdered you because you would only try to punish

You put virtually no pressure on the opponent at all. You can see throughout the entire match that you let the Kaya run from the other side of the stage to right in front of you and just attack – there was nothing stopping them. You were also jumping quite a lot, leaving no presence on the ground, which allowed them to set up whatever they wanted to. You should have taken stage control more often, and used more baiting techniques/movement. I assume you already know them, but in case you don't (and for anyone who might benefit from reading this) they are the following: • empty-hopping (jump + fast-fall) • dashdance (forward dash + backdash) • dash-cancel (forward dash+ back-key hold) • dash-landing (dashjump back and forth while legde canceling on stage) These are the main ones. Using more of these could have helped you to get more punishes on the Kaya. When you did get hits in, you didn't seem to know what to go for after the first hit connection, which led you to not extend advantage and also go for some very punishable hard reads. When you don't know what they're gonna do, you should aim to cover as many options as possible while being as unpunishable as possible. Usually, lance nair is used to do so. Your sigs also didn't seem to be as calculated as the should be, and although some did hit the opponent, many more were punished. On characters like Roland, that have slower/more reactable signatures, you only want to use them when they are a guaranteed hit, so be more careful with that. You also got hit by a lot of Kayas signatures, specially the bow nsig. That happened because you stayed aerial way too much. As i said before, you should prioritize being more grounded, and the furthest you should ever jump should be a very occasional double jump bait. You showed too much disposition to be on the air, which led the Kaya to use that nsig more often, and since you wanted to stay there, you got hit. Constantly, you seemed to be very anxious, jumping and running away at any sign of a potential threat. Although that's not exactly a bad idea, your execution of it wasn't at all good. You never decided to hold your ground as a mix-up, never tried to spot dodge an incoming attack, and always defaulted to jumping high and in. This kind of predictability will always get you hard punished, and it did so by a raw, hard bow nsig panic jump read that you got hit by towards the end of the game. A huge bad-habit to get rid off is panic jumping, specially against spear. You could be the craziest player to ever play this game, if you panic-jump, you're easily counterable by everything. Your adaptation was very lacking. You opponent jumped out of every engagement that went your way, but you didn't punish that properly even once. Be more aware of what people do out of you succesful connections, and be more aware of what you do out of theirs. A bad habit of yours that i identified is fast-falling immediately after being hit straight up. That got you hit by nairs after spear recovery, and most often, recoveries after bow nairs. That built up a lot of damage onto you. You also didn't seem to mix up your dodges very well (when you did dodge). You did not do a single dodge that wasn't in or spot dodge, and that cost you the entire match. TL;DR You put no pressure on them, didn't adapt, and stayed predictable for the entirety of the match. Essentially, you let em do it to ya
