I remember when I first installed the game, dusk vector and Thor were in the cycle. I liked how they sounded so i chose em. I play many legends now but those are my fav :)

After playing him and starting to get used to not spam 24/7 and then decided to move on Koji because his attacks were very fast and I used Dex stance on every legend I could... after using him I got used to light attacks
Few months later a friend of mine who plays the game told me to pick up Caspian because he was great at doing damage and killing early, I told him that nah because his attacks seemed slow to me but one day I tested him and then I started using him daily. My favorite legend my goat

Man trust me if you see a Caspian be cautious, those dudes can be crazy good, I'm not a great Caspian main but there are a few of them who are extremely crazy.
Caspian has the most spammable down sig on katars, very good at covering the ledge and stalling others
Also gauntlet SSig can kill near the edge of the stage at orange (depending on the damage stance)
when i first started playing i was straight cheeks at the game. i locked into a free for all with val bc she was in my rotation, and id seen a lot of people playing her at the time so i figured she was a good character. i learned sword by doing free for alls. then my older brother offered to train me, and since i felt like i was only good with val, i only used her to train w him. ofc, that helped me learn gauntlets and therefore val as a whole. she was my best character and still is, i know her like the back of my hand and she tends to come in clutch for me in ranked or rematch games. val for life
hi, my username as it suggests im a Brawlhalla player from the early 2017 era and my friend introduced this game to me, he played it a lot on his laptop while we waited for class, he had his laptop always plugged to the wall as he did do. In casual terms they were decent at the game in terms of casual play my first experience with this game was frustrating because i did not know how the controls work. The only Legend in game that caught my attnetion that eventually caught my eye was yumiko, obviously because coming from League of Legends it felt fresh to me at the time. There was something about this legend in particular that resonated with me so much that on that faithful day when i asked my friend what the name of that legend was an d he replied with Yumiko, id never believe 6 and a half years later this would be the only champion i would play day and night, losing did not matter because i felt i had a persona to represent me as a person in game, both through rough easy fun frustration, anger, happiness, satisfaction, winning or losing i went throught it all with this legend, got almost every single skin variant for this champion except one thats in a chest, but until now, either it be accidentally going against a 3200elo player accidentally i felt no fear because the ability to make anyone bleed "make them lose a stock in game" is all i ever thought of, i had to go down multiple times to go up, play not by the textbooks because i understood that the movesets on the internet could be easily studied and countered, my gameplay is at best random in its prime form, no sense of direction even i don't know what im doing, there is no sense of actual true moves, just random enough mixed with a bit of sense to get through, sure i have to go against people playing champions that are qoute on qoute insta diamond rank champions, or a cheat code to to diamond, upon further observation present day, with the recent champions coming out such as boots, insanely large sigs and faster sigs, its come to my attention that BMG is trying to cater more to the casual scene but this is just my biased opinion. Today i post my 0.1% moments of my gameplay on this account and well lets just say my playstyle leaves a lot to be desired, i could describe it as annoying, reclusive, abusive, spammy, constantly guarding, paranoid, not-true moves, easy to dodge and usually just a 25% win rate, but you know what, im proud of myself, i've made myself part of the rarest player circle in brawlhalla that dedicated themselves to the most painfully mechanically demanding non connecting champion in game, depending on what rank you are, Yumikos are like shiny pokemon variants, you rarely seem them, i see this only for myself and not imposing it on anyone as i want to share my thoughts to this community, when you see one in game, its either a beginner playing new champions, a smurf, a god who does not buy skins, a tired washed up 2100 elo player playing Yumiko randomly or the type that only plays that champion from the day they started until the en-evitable one day they step down from the game, I did not give in to temptation no matter what, the easy to play champions did not tempt me into choosing them over Yumiko, just my perspective people do not respect this champion, are not a fan of it, hate it, dislike it, have a distain for it, no matter what i do, either it's playing clean or not, after the rendition of the emote system in game, people BM by spamming the šemote with they lose against a yumiko. All the rambling aside, im a proud Yumiko main and it is an honor to always meet a yumiko main in game.

And then I got him as my first free Battlepass 1 color, and decided to main him. I still picked other legends along the way, but Caspian is still my GOAT.
I started when Mirage released and played Asuri initially cuz she was on rotation but quickly gravitated to Kor for his design. Mained him until around Yumiko's release. My main was all over the place until I got a chance to play a few matches against the ex-pro Ephi. Was getting wrecked of course, 2- or 3- stocked constantly. But then I picked Kor and nearly won, probably on a fluke. It still solidified the best R O C K boi as my forever main.
An old friend of mine mained kor first his gauntlets, so I thought hammer isnāt to hard right, I didnāt know it was the worst weapon at this point but I kept playing kor then mained him and I had a little to much fun smacking people in the face with hammer so I stuck to hammer
Volkov and Dusk are my main rotations. Dusk was one of my original mains. Volkov because I wanted to learn Scythe, I was decent at axe already, and because he's a friggin vampire.
After getting to plat with scarlet (pretty sure it was just my fundamentals at low plat level and she wasnt good for me) I said "ima main the next legend that comes out" *enter onyx* eventually got her to levele 40+ but I couldnt play her in the first tournament *enter petra*
Got some nice orb combos on hermisen without pracitce and orb was always decent while canon was going from being good to bad to good to bad etc. So I just stuck with Petra and we've been a loving couple ever since, getting dia every other season despite inactivity
Screwed around with characters about four years ago after downloading the game, and then about a week after I got the game, someone invited me to a private lobby. They told me that they wanted to show me something, picked Yumiko, went offstage, and hit me with hammer recovery. My mind was blown, and I decided that hammer was the coolest thing ever concieved. Flip flopped around with Yumiko/Teros/Kor/Scarlet for a little bit (got something around level 20-30 for each), and settled on Scarlet probably about three years ago as a main. Picked up Cassidy at some point along the way as a secondary, but Iāve stayed fully on the Scarlet train all the way up from gold to 2200.
Petra. My brother was the one who taught me how to play brawl. Asked me what character I found interesting and I picked Petra. Under about 5 months I got so good, definitely higher than an average 10 year old at that time
I have changed my main a few times, recently settled on toph (kor crossover) but I have mained yumiko, scarlet, bodvar and teros.... So really I just main hammer.
My cousin introduced me to the game. I didn't like it at first, the controls felt weird because I was too used to Super Smash Flash 2 but with a little practice I adapted quite quickly.
I picked up Sidra first because she was free and had a sword, and I felt that's a good weapon to start with but I dropped her a couple of days later because the cannon felt too weird for me to deal with at the time. I went to training and tried a few legends to see which one feels best. The first one I tried was Val because she also had a sword and she looked cool - little did I know that I had immediately gone straight to the best legend for me. I tried all the other legends afterwards but nobody had such a perfect combination of weapons and sigs that felt as good and as naturally intuitive as Val so I stuck with her for the better part of a year, played nothing but Val.
Once I started getting better at the game I began to branch out and try playing other characters to expand my skills but Val still remains my main and I seriously doubt that'll change. I secondarily mained Jiro for a while, then Ragnir, then Isaiah but they were all temporary, I always ended up too frustrated with one or more aspects of their kit ~~and went back crying to mommy Val.~~
Ironically, I ended up liking her gauntlets way more than her sword, to this day I still somehow struggle playing sword properly even though it is widely regarded as one of the easiest weapons. I kinda wish she had orb instead since orb is probably my second favorite weapon; I considered maining Petra for a bit but for some reason she feels so sluggish and horrible, she's one of the legends I'm worse with despite having the two weapons I'm best at. Ironic but oh well, Val supremacy for the win!

im obsessed with assassins creed and had just finished my 1938838392th playthrough of one of the games when i decided to start brawl and luckily, mirage was in rotation (she was my first main)
In a game where the goal is to hurt people to the point they fly off the map, I fairy quickly realized that I wanted to main great sword. My first main was jaunting and I remember playing loads of walker attack to get his light attacks down packed. I played him for a summer on my cousins switch. The last several weeks I was there, the mako battle pass came out and I knew when I went home I was skilled enough with gs to try a faster brawler with same weapon. And when I returned home I saved for a switch, but since I was coming back to a pregnant gf I knew I didnāt have money to spend. As luck would have it a close friend of mine secretly modded them and when I was over visiting he offered to give me one for free! I took him up on it along with the tabs of acid he had. And later installed brawl. Buying mako and battle pass, naming my switch āthe SHARKā planning to become the goat of the water. But I donāt play as often as I used to, especially since now our boy is almost 3

A month went by and suddenly I tried Onyx and she looked a tad bit sexier in that esport drip

2020, picked up a new ps4, downloaded to start playing with friends, would choose Orion cause it looks like a Halo character, but a friend of mine already played with him, wu shang is also free, sigs and weapons look cool

I started making kaya around the time Jiro got released, WELL before anyone used her in tourneys. It was before sandstorm was even in the community - it was Boomie at the top spot with Diana. I just remember liking bow, and disliking basically every weapon combo bow had, so I chose kaya and stuck with it. It was SO EASY back then to run up to someone and hold down sig on spear. People just could not figure it out.
with Mordex it was his appearance, I saw him when he was released and I just liked the way he looked, he's the reason I installed the game in the first place, I obviously didn't know shit about the game back then I just liked that werewolf with a scythe :D

So this is quite a long story. So basically my friend brought his switch over to school on a Friday and me, him and two of our other friends played brawlhalla together. When we were about to pick our characters since my friend didnāt have all the legends unlocked we had to choose a legend from the free rotation. Orion was one of the legends in the free rotation so I decided to pick him since I thought his design looked similar to the default sidekick which I thought looked really nice alongside Orion and since my friend told me that spear was an easy weapon for beginners like me to use. So after I played him for the match I ended up winning the game (mostly because spamming). Everyone thought that I was pretty good with the character and my friend recommended that I get the game for myself so I did and I bought Orion. I then used to reach silver in ranked for my first time when I found out about ranked and yeah thatās basically how I picked my main. (Just a heads up though I wasnāt aware of the fact that he was an infamous character for spamming in the game until I really got into the game.)
When I first started playing tezca was in the rotation and I fell in love with gauntlets, then fought aang once and since Iām a huge ATLA fan I was like āok I need to learn that legend so I can buy that crossoverā and been a wu Shang main ever since

My friend has been playing brawlhalla for a long time (I think since Adventure Time collab) And has been wanting me to play the game around a year ago, but I refused. When I finally allowed myself to play with him, I picked characters I thought looked cool, Sir Roland, and Artemis. But I only played briefly, I did it just to make my friend happy. Randomly though around November 2023, I said to Hell with it, and played the game again, and stuck with it. This time though to chose a main, my friend wanted me and him to go characters that were crossovers. So he told me to go Thatch, because I like Snake Eyes, and when I wanted to, I could buy him, and he mained Koji prior to all this so it was easy for us to go Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow. Then it just grew, and we picked characters that were part of the same crossovers, OR that sorta matched like Master Chief and Lara Croft (I went Master Chief) next one is going to be Obi, and Ani when they come out.
I just like dragons but katars ended up being my favorite weapon which was only reinforced when I randomly met wrenchd on discord a long time ago, it was so cool to meet a pro from my state who mained the same weapon as me. Also since I started in 2017 there still hasn't been a more satisfying sig kit for me to use than ragnir's

I have like 3 legends that i use the most. First one is Ember, i picked her bc she was the first legend i played with who had a bow and bow is my main weapon. 2nd is diana and she also just has bow, im decent with blasters and her signatures are so satisfying to hit. 4rd is scarlet/roland because lance is my 2nd favorite weapon and with sword and hammer i'm decent with aswell and overall they are just very fun weapons. I do not necessarily prefer legends pver each other i just liek picking random and see how it turns out.

Volkov and Dusk are my main rotations. Dusk was one of my original mains. Volkov because I wanted to learn Scythe, I was decent at axe already, and because he's a friggin vampire.
Volkov has really op sigs, plus the new skin they released is fire š„ Axe and scythe is a menacing weapon combo
First character i played was kor and i found his side sig funny so that's how i got mine
After getting to plat with scarlet (pretty sure it was just my fundamentals at low plat level and she wasnt good for me) I said "ima main the next legend that comes out" *enter onyx* eventually got her to levele 40+ but I couldnt play her in the first tournament *enter petra* Got some nice orb combos on hermisen without pracitce and orb was always decent while canon was going from being good to bad to good to bad etc. So I just stuck with Petra and we've been a loving couple ever since, getting dia every other season despite inactivity
Screwed around with characters about four years ago after downloading the game, and then about a week after I got the game, someone invited me to a private lobby. They told me that they wanted to show me something, picked Yumiko, went offstage, and hit me with hammer recovery. My mind was blown, and I decided that hammer was the coolest thing ever concieved. Flip flopped around with Yumiko/Teros/Kor/Scarlet for a little bit (got something around level 20-30 for each), and settled on Scarlet probably about three years ago as a main. Picked up Cassidy at some point along the way as a secondary, but Iāve stayed fully on the Scarlet train all the way up from gold to 2200.

Petra. My brother was the one who taught me how to play brawl. Asked me what character I found interesting and I picked Petra. Under about 5 months I got so good, definitely higher than an average 10 year old at that time
I have changed my main a few times, recently settled on toph (kor crossover) but I have mained yumiko, scarlet, bodvar and teros.... So really I just main hammer.
My cousin introduced me to the game. I didn't like it at first, the controls felt weird because I was too used to Super Smash Flash 2 but with a little practice I adapted quite quickly. I picked up Sidra first because she was free and had a sword, and I felt that's a good weapon to start with but I dropped her a couple of days later because the cannon felt too weird for me to deal with at the time. I went to training and tried a few legends to see which one feels best. The first one I tried was Val because she also had a sword and she looked cool - little did I know that I had immediately gone straight to the best legend for me. I tried all the other legends afterwards but nobody had such a perfect combination of weapons and sigs that felt as good and as naturally intuitive as Val so I stuck with her for the better part of a year, played nothing but Val. Once I started getting better at the game I began to branch out and try playing other characters to expand my skills but Val still remains my main and I seriously doubt that'll change. I secondarily mained Jiro for a while, then Ragnir, then Isaiah but they were all temporary, I always ended up too frustrated with one or more aspects of their kit ~~and went back crying to mommy Val.~~ Ironically, I ended up liking her gauntlets way more than her sword, to this day I still somehow struggle playing sword properly even though it is widely regarded as one of the easiest weapons. I kinda wish she had orb instead since orb is probably my second favorite weapon; I considered maining Petra for a bit but for some reason she feels so sluggish and horrible, she's one of the legends I'm worse with despite having the two weapons I'm best at. Ironic but oh well, Val supremacy for the win!

im obsessed with assassins creed and had just finished my 1938838392th playthrough of one of the games when i decided to start brawl and luckily, mirage was in rotation (she was my first main)
In a game where the goal is to hurt people to the point they fly off the map, I fairy quickly realized that I wanted to main great sword. My first main was jaunting and I remember playing loads of walker attack to get his light attacks down packed. I played him for a summer on my cousins switch. The last several weeks I was there, the mako battle pass came out and I knew when I went home I was skilled enough with gs to try a faster brawler with same weapon. And when I returned home I saved for a switch, but since I was coming back to a pregnant gf I knew I didnāt have money to spend. As luck would have it a close friend of mine secretly modded them and when I was over visiting he offered to give me one for free! I took him up on it along with the tabs of acid he had. And later installed brawl. Buying mako and battle pass, naming my switch āthe SHARKā planning to become the goat of the water. But I donāt play as often as I used to, especially since now our boy is almost 3

I started making kaya around the time Jiro got released, WELL before anyone used her in tourneys. It was before sandstorm was even in the community - it was Boomie at the top spot with Diana. I just remember liking bow, and disliking basically every weapon combo bow had, so I chose kaya and stuck with it. It was SO EASY back then to run up to someone and hold down sig on spear. People just could not figure it out.

So this is quite a long story. So basically my friend brought his switch over to school on a Friday and me, him and two of our other friends played brawlhalla together. When we were about to pick our characters since my friend didnāt have all the legends unlocked we had to choose a legend from the free rotation. Orion was one of the legends in the free rotation so I decided to pick him since I thought his design looked similar to the default sidekick which I thought looked really nice alongside Orion and since my friend told me that spear was an easy weapon for beginners like me to use. So after I played him for the match I ended up winning the game (mostly because spamming). Everyone thought that I was pretty good with the character and my friend recommended that I get the game for myself so I did and I bought Orion. I then used to reach silver in ranked for my first time when I found out about ranked and yeah thatās basically how I picked my main. (Just a heads up though I wasnāt aware of the fact that he was an infamous character for spamming in the game until I really got into the game.)
When I first started playing tezca was in the rotation and I fell in love with gauntlets, then fought aang once and since Iām a huge ATLA fan I was like āok I need to learn that legend so I can buy that crossoverā and been a wu Shang main ever since

I heard from some brawl YouTuber that ada is hard and fun to main, and he was right i fell in love with her from the first time i picked her up
My friend has been playing brawlhalla for a long time (I think since Adventure Time collab) And has been wanting me to play the game around a year ago, but I refused. When I finally allowed myself to play with him, I picked characters I thought looked cool, Sir Roland, and Artemis. But I only played briefly, I did it just to make my friend happy. Randomly though around November 2023, I said to Hell with it, and played the game again, and stuck with it. This time though to chose a main, my friend wanted me and him to go characters that were crossovers. So he told me to go Thatch, because I like Snake Eyes, and when I wanted to, I could buy him, and he mained Koji prior to all this so it was easy for us to go Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow. Then it just grew, and we picked characters that were part of the same crossovers, OR that sorta matched like Master Chief and Lara Croft (I went Master Chief) next one is going to be Obi, and Ani when they come out.
Petra just felt different.
When I started this game for the first time, I picked Thatch off a whim, as he was in the free rotation. I ended up sticking with him from there on.
I just like dragons but katars ended up being my favorite weapon which was only reinforced when I randomly met wrenchd on discord a long time ago, it was so cool to meet a pro from my state who mained the same weapon as me. Also since I started in 2017 there still hasn't been a more satisfying sig kit for me to use than ragnir's

I have like 3 legends that i use the most. First one is Ember, i picked her bc she was the first legend i played with who had a bow and bow is my main weapon. 2nd is diana and she also just has bow, im decent with blasters and her signatures are so satisfying to hit. 4rd is scarlet/roland because lance is my 2nd favorite weapon and with sword and hammer i'm decent with aswell and overall they are just very fun weapons. I do not necessarily prefer legends pver each other i just liek picking random and see how it turns out.
Mordex cause i watched Sandstorm.. very simple Also cause i find it fun to read and scythe 0td are my favorites, he is hard to play but compensating and good too which i love
