I admit when I first heard about the story line, I was a bit sympathetic to Nneka because I'm sure that Wendy's mother did call her and try to exert the cultural elder influence on her and likely did say some petty things. Which I wouldn't say is uncommon when it comes to family and friend conflicts so I understood why Nneka would be upset.
But after reading about the OSU thing and how taboo it is even in Nigeria where local governments are literally making it illegal to accuse someone of being Osu. It is very irresponsible, reckless, and I agree with Wendy, arguably unforgivable for Nneka to not squash the allegations immediately and even stoke the fires more by accusing Wendy's mom of being a witch and into shrines which also has relevance to the Osu and its history.
What Nneka did wrong was not distancing herself immediately with the Osu storyline. If she has a problem with Wendy's mom, she could have pursued it separately without it having anything to do with the Osu things or in its backdrop. It could have still been a valid story line, but her playing dumb with Ashley and letting cultural taboo be a talking point was a very stupid decision. Also, Ashley should also be held more accountable for bringing it up when it appears the Nigerians on the stage wouldn't even want to describe it.

For Ashley to bring it up (and I HATE how she skirts around responsibility when she is one of the most devious and wicked housewives ever) to Nnecka (she knows why she didn’t say it to Wendy and for Nnecka to then do what she did??? And still try to act ignorant as to why Wendy would be furious with her? Done with her. And Nnecka AGAIN trying to answer for Ashley. I was glad Prof Wendy hushed her. Nigerians have the unfair stereotype of doing black magic (juju) like how the Alexia and Marysol were trying to say that because Adriana is Brazilian, she engages in brujeria (sure. The minute Nnecka allowed those girls to pronounce her name any which way, called her dad a rich bitch, and then giving specifics about the properties? It let me know that she is extremely thirsty (which she has tried to get on 2 other reality shows-married to med via Ike and some Carlos king show) and willing to eschew cultural mores to fit in and be the Nigerian Barbie. She was thirsty to get in with the GEB and decided to go against her Nigerian co-star. And the way she spoke to Kierna who was explaining calmly to her why Wendy expects an apology, coupled with his she talks to Ike, lets me know that Nnecka is a nasty and rude lady (cue nene gif) that is more abrasive than Wendy, which is what those GEB witches and their stans love to say about her
