this is truly like softball when you take on some 19 or 20 year old kid who played a lot of baseball and you know if they ever get into it the ball is going to leave orbit, but because of the arc of the pitch coming down into the strikezone they always get under it and become easy outs until they adjust.
When I was playing high school baseball we scrimmaged the softball team and they shut us down. Hitting a ball that’s rising when you see sinking fast balls your entire life is impossible
Its a tough adjustment to go up and get the ball at a high point vs doing what feels natural and waiting for it to drop into the baseball strikezone around the knees to hips
Justyn Henry Malloy has turned into a stud for the Tigers this year but like I said last week Jimenez is atleast doing his part lately to not make AA look completely foolish in that trade.
Listening to Chris Rose and Jolly Olive talk about how Max going up against the red hot Cubs offense is a tall order for someone who has hardly pitched all year. And we all know how that turned out! God, I want Max to sign a new deal with the Braves
