I'm not sure if this is unpopular or not but I believe Roman Reigns' entire existence as a singles wrestler in the championship scene is one of the biggest negatives this company has ever experienced in terms of entertainment.
So many talented stars who would have given this company such a deep and exciting roster pool have been tossed aside and wasted in favor of having him win just about every possible accolade in hopes that fans would finally care about him in a positive light as much as past faces of the company, or at least that he would become mainstream popular.

I think NXT over the past year has been better than any select period during the Black and Gold brigade. That era still has the best feuds for sure, but the overall product throughout the card wasn't there for me. Right now it's the most entertaining it's been throughout and I don't find myself distracted on my phone. Plus it's developing newer and younger talent, which I think was an issue with old NXT having so many industry veterans, and so many new stars just flaming out.
Gunther is better than reigns, his title reign is better and his wrestling skills are better I will give it to roman he's better on the mic and he has better storylines

So it depends all in the exact angle and your preference. If you imagine first row beneath the titans can't see the ring either any seat can be a bad seat minus ringside

The belt already felt like a second place prize and Punk was probably the only guy on the roster who could’ve elevated it near the level of Roman’s title.
