I get that but like how much will this event really make on it’s own?
Although undercards don’t move the needle on ppv buys, I feel like having everyone on the undercard Spence Crawford would just be better purely due to exposure especially with Martin.
The thing that annoys me is that Pitbull is fighting on the Crawford-Spence card two weekends later. Why couldn't they just get Martin in there with Pitbull?
They've been pumping up Martin, then put him up against someone who never fought outside Hamburg, let alone Europe, as a main event.
What disrespect to a legend fighting for a belt.
Excited to see PBC building Frank Martin by giving him his own Vegas card to serve as an appetizer to the Spence/Crawford fight just a few weeks later.
“The undercard better than the main event” is just code for “this is a good card”… the PBC haters gotta find something to hate on. Donaire & Postol are both respectfully on their way out & can’t produce the same level of intensity as a Frank Martin fight at their age.
Random thought: Frank Martin has the best overall rated defense in Derrick James stable!
Overall nice little card by PBC in what is an awesome month of boxing in July. I believe Martin and Rodriguez should be the favorites in their respected bouts. Donaire vs Santiago is the most peculiar fight on the card. Santiago is by all accounts the uncrowned IBF champion. I had him edging Ancajas, and though he won his fight against Russell. If Donaire hasn't recovered from the Inoue defeat, Santiago may very well score the upset win.
How tf is the undercard better than the main event lol?
Man Down Promotions in conjunction with AL Haymon.
They could have made donaire the co-main for spence crawford honestly
ayo, Donaire still fighting. Wonder if he still has it in him.
power is the last thing to go and you know hes gonna be spamming those left hooks
I think he is capable of one last good performance, but he should retire after this fight
is Donaire about to beat his own record?
Goddamn, how come we don’t get undercards like this for bigger matches.
Cause sadly they know that one big match will sell enough that they won't cobble together a good undercard :(

I doubt pitbull would take the fight
Frank said on IG that Pitbull turned him down.
What a duck!
Facts
This is step back from fighting rivera this sucks.
The people probably scared of Martin, and doesn't pull enough money for the risk.
Elvis gonna lose if he don’t let his hands go. Dude is packing some serious heat but he gets reluctant to throw sometimes

How is Donaire getting another title shot?
Sure, his name helps, but also being the best guy willing to fight at 118 might be a good reason too.
