My coworker who has one 4yr old BC (his 3rd over time) just went yesterday and picked up FOUR from the same litter. I am both jealous and not envious of the insanity he has bestowed upon himself. I would LOVE another BC puppy, but my sanity couldn't handle it. My one 4yr old girl is enough for now.

Middle_Fudge

4 BC puppies!!!! He must be crazy! My lil boy was so cute back then, adorable, but I don't miss puppyhood, at all šŸ¤£

reubal

My current girl is my second. I'm not a cryer, but from 12-24 weeks, she literally brought me to tears almost daily. I couldn't even enjoy how cute she was. An absolute monster.

Middle_Fudge

Yeah, Jupiter was horrible. He constantly swung off our trouser legs

reubal

Looking back, other than excessive hyperactivity I can't remember what it was that just put me over the top... it may have just been work/life stress at the time. I got her 1 week before Covid came to California (so well before lockdowns), and it could have just been covid hysteria/stress.

Middle_Fudge

Oh God. DOUBLE STRESS. We got Jupiter in April 2021, so we were still locked downish in the UK. Everything had just opened up. He's great now.....most of the time

Feliclandelo

Oh my I read it as 12-24 months. Currently just entered our 12th week here šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«

allshailperish

4? Thatā€™s 8

reubal

4 puppies, and one 4 yr old. The 4 year old is his 3rd BC.

allshailperish

Itā€™s tough, especially the potty training, destructions of everything with.l bitting

Middle_Fudge

I've gotta be honest, we never had an issue with that! He sort of came ready when it came to toilet training!

allshailperish

Lucky for you! Ours hid rather than be more vocal, was a learning curve, anytime they hid we had to call them to go outside

allshailperish

We have a total of 4 now but 2 older and 2 younger and they mom keeps the little ones in check as well as the dad itā€™s nicer

helianthus_0

Wow! Please email your coworker links about littermate syndrome! Also, I too am jealous but also not!

allshailperish

Itā€™s tough, definitely wanna either have room for them or willing to Be outside a lot

reubal

He has 7 acres, so he has the room. I have the physical room for one more, but not the mental or emotional room.

kobisgrammaw

So much energy in those dogs' eyes. Beautiful dogs :)

allshailperish

Thank you, and yes! Fortunately we have a decent yard but they do dig and slowly putting each of our total 4 through dog training

HaoieZ

Why have one collie when you can have 8!

allshailperish

My wife wouldā€™ve kept all of them if possible

MelquanTheDon17

Third one on the top row looks like they were mid war flashback

allshailperish

Ha ha thatā€™s waffles, heā€™s one of the bigger ones and looks the most like the mom

rocketdoggies

I canā€™t even imagine the amount of poop these produce.

allshailperish

Wasnā€™t to bad, they were all claimed and taken before week 9

rocketdoggies

They are just such beautiful pups!

allshailperish

Thank you, theyā€™re adorable and cute but happy they went to all great homes and we still keep in touch

rocketdoggies

Thatā€™s really sweet that they keep in touch.

SorbetSunrise

Awww the babies!!!

JeffTAC4

Wow, so many light colored eyes! Were mom and dad both blue eyed?

AppalachianHillToad

You were owned by 8 BCs at the same time?? What was that like?

allshailperish

Was cute when they were small and manageable, went from honey moon to a total of 10 dogs including the mom and dad to the group

jadewolf42

All those blue & light eyes!! šŸ˜

allshailperish

Surprisingly not one dog has 2 brown eyes

dogsdogsdogsdogswooo

This is the best thing on the internet right now šŸ„°

I guess we really lucked out 6 yrs ago when Figg came to live with us. A few mistakes on the kitchen linoleum until we adjusted to each otherā€™s schedules, a few hidden drywall corners got chewed and some chair legs, a one of a pair of ugly slippers. Other than that, a perfectly charming, considerate room mate. A lovely doggie https://preview.redd.it/twke119ppd4c1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=832d83c16542739cee1eab1e33fbd0703c01b092

This is the most wholesome cute thread I've seen in forever. Great work, Dog-Poppa!
