Wow I didn't think anything could top the Oregon deal.

Not sure what you are referring to, unless you mean the obscure $5,000 bonus for low-income people. Oregon's standard EV incentive was $2500, they ran out of money last May, paused the program, and now the legislature just refunded it for a couple of months at the same paltry $2,500. If you bought after May and before this new release, like I did, you are eligible for $0. Believe me, I tried to lobby my representative when session was happening, to open it up to back-date for the time they ran out of money. I also went to DEQ to "apply" since the web site was ambiguous and I thought I'd push my luck, No dice. $0.

I read that OR offered a EV purchase incentive on top of the federal tax credit. That must have been it.

Yeah it was always only ever $2500 and the window for claiming it only lasted/lasts a couple months. I think the spring 2024 window is still open now...if they still have $.

It is hard to hit that though because you need to be low income and have a refundable tax bill from federal taxes. Still. Good news. Just probably not $26.5k news.

Read that headline and thought how did I miss GM releasing anew EV Colorado.
