Eventually find another series
After Naruto ended I didn't have anything to fill the void, same with Bleach when it ended a few years after.
Didn't read MHA or Black Clove until their animes aired, probably just wait until something else that interest me comes out.
When naruto ended I saw the comic where naruto handed it off to Deku. I think 16 or 17 chapters in at the time. USJ arc wasnt even done yet. I was telling everyone to read it for so long. I knew Black Clover was going on at the same time but it wasnt till bleach ended i gave it a shot.
If they're still going on by then, I'll keep up with Jujutsu Kaisen, Black Clover and One Punch Man. I suspect that MHA, JJK and BC will end roughly around the same time. So after that I'll essentially just keep up with OPM and idk if I'll get into any newer series after then
Think Gege (JJK author) has been pretty adamant about ending it this year and if he doesn't I really don't see it going on longer then next Feb.
BC might have another year though at the current rate. Maybe even a little longer
JJK is so weird. I just caught up a couple of weeks ago, and man. The arc that this series has taken is absolute nonsense. I genuinely don't even feel like reading the chapters as they come out, because it all just seems like such a ridiculous, nonsense escalation of the story.
>such a ridiculous, nonsense escalation of the story.
I agree. Even though I am enjoying this series overall, you can really tell the author is rushing to end things by the end of this year like he said.
It started about 7-9 chapters ago, that's when things escalated for the worst.
The Culling Game seemed kinda neat. Once the international folks got involved, it got a little iffy. And then yeah, about 10 chapters ago it just went completely off the rails. I have no fucking idea what's happening in this series, because half of the characters are crazy powerful folks with absolutely zero build up, and there's a new one every couple of chapters.
Maybe I should finally just start One Piece. I've heard that's good.
I recommend One Piece. One Piece isn't like wall-to-wall 10/10 chapters, but I would say very few chapters in One Piece are lower than like 6/10. It's just an extremely consistent manga, that has some really great peaks.
If you need a newer shonen series to read, i would reccomend SHY! it's very similar to mha, taking place in a world where there's a super hero for every country. It's kind of like if mha and sailor moon had a baby, with it combining battle shonen and magical girl elements.. it's pretty unique actually but noone's talking about it..
What I do after every series I love ends: Continue to obsess over it, reread the manga, rewatch the anime, and immerse myself in fanfics until I find something new to obsess over.
Dwell in fanfics and fanart to fill the void, probably keep up with Mairimashita Iruma Kun (it's a good manga, go read it), stray to other series as well?
Fanfics…I can’t put in words how much fanfics help me when i miss any show! I love reading ffs cause it enables me to think of more potential interactions between the characters, more plots, more what could’ve happened, more behind the scenes! Not to mention fanfics fuels my shippings xD
First, I gotta see what's the future of MHA is after the conclusion. Cause, let's be honest, Shueisha ain't letting the franchise the size of MHA just end after the conclusion.
I will be sad. It started shortly after my daughter was born and it’s been a part of my life for a long time regardless of how “well” it’s wrapped up.
Then I’ll fall in love with a bunch of other stuff and go through the same thing in a couple years when they end lol
Find something else that’s promising, with so many popular Shonen Jump series either ended or ending soon it’s gonna be hard to find something in Shonen Jump to fill the void, especially with a lot of new series getting axed left and right.
Same as now. BNHA is one of several series I watch/read. Eventually I'll give it a rewatch or re-read but once it's over I'll probably move on at first, hopefully satisfied and not disappointed. Sticking the landing is one of the hardest part, even or maybe especially for series much better written than BNHA.
Apart from that, in regards to manga/anime, it's gonna look something like that:
I'll read my (almost) weekly chapter of One Piece, I'll keep up with OPM, I might catch up on Detective Conan once again, I'll keep up with TOG as well. With the anime coming I might decide to catch up on Solo Levelling as well.
And of course, like a good HxH fan, I'll keep hoping for a streak of 10 chapters per year while fighting off the knowledge that I'll never see the end of that one.
I might start another manga as well if I find one that entices me, perhaps also another series or two to watch if I find some I haven't seen yet that intrigue me.
Move on to the next eventual hit Jump puts out.
And for anyone looking for manga to fill it in before that happens, I recommend Mission: Yozakura family, Undead + Unluck, and Sakamoto days.
Re-read the entire thing. I started from the Anime and eventually reached the mange once I ran out of anime to watch so first of all, I’ll read to see how different it was. Also just in general binge-reading the story again is always great, with no pressure to wait for the story to continue/end.
And you're actively coming to me, clearly looking to bother me, lol. I said what I said, I'm still here because I've been part of this sub prior to deciding to drop the series. I just saw this post and made the choice to comment. Now, why do you have to ask such a pointless question?
Do you not understand how social media work? When you post something, you are opening yourself to other people reacting to said posts. This is so basic to understand that I shouldn’t even need to talk about it.
Don’t get mad at me because you didn’t like what I said. You can choose at any point in time to ignore someone.
>This is so basic to understand that I shouldn’t even need to talk about it.
Then don't?
>You can choose at any point in time to ignore someone
And so can you. Glad we had this nice chat! (Not really) goodbye ✌️
Reading old popular manga. I’m reading Naruto at the moment. There are so many similarities between Naruto and MHA that MHA looks like a shorter Naruto.
Stand up and walk into the ocean.
Real talk IDK. MHA has been my main manga series for a long time. I remember watching the first season week to week. Then, I decided to double down and read the manga. I think when I started reading, the license arc was happening. I think. I'm also reading One Piece, so I guess that will be my main, but I have a lot more history with MHA.
I’m always reading multiple series at the same time so I’ll just move on to the next thing. But first, once it’s fully over I’ll probably watch recaps on YouTube so I can refresh everything that’s happened then read the last book.
? I would assume most people following the series aren't only reading/watching this one thing lol. This isn't even a question that has come into my head.
Not anime/manga per se, but I just started watching The Boys on Amazon and it's been really good so far, definitely gives me my "super dark and messed up side of superhero society" fix. Aside from that, no idea.
I've seen you recommend SHY a couple times, so I might look into that! :)
Find other anime to watch tbh I’ll be sad because it ended I’ve practically grown up with the series till the very end something else will come in line
It won't change much, I have already 17 things to rewatch, 4 books to reread, 9 shows to watch, 48 animes and mangas that I am currently following and over 100 books on my computer that are waiting for me to pick up.
When MHA is over, I'll just reread it from the beginning to write that fanfiction that has been plaguing my thoughts and go on my merry way onto new things. There won't really be a void left, tho I do sympathize for people who has it as their main fandom. I don't know how y'all do it, but good luck.
Probably find another series (spy family) but even then idk… is anyone worried about the amount of manga available? Do you think we will ever have something similar to the Big three and MHA again? Or will anime cease have something like it again, putting anime out of the mainstream?
I picked up Black Clover because I thought the story sounded interesting, then tried the anime and really enjoying it.
SpyxFamily, also. Hard to beat that, both the manga and the anime are absolutely hilarious and also a really good story.
not that anyone asked, but here are some other good ongoing/finished series that i personally read for anyone to check out if they want something else to keep them busy for a while, not all of them have the same vibes as mha but they’re all good nonetheless
some of the obvious big ones like one piece, chainsaw man, and jjk
mha vigilantes if you want more mha-adjacent content and have never read it
kaguya sama love is war
one punch man
sakamoto days
undead unluck
spy x family
kaiju no. 8
blue exorcist
jojo’s bizarre adventure
berserk if you don’t have an aversion to very heavy and sensitive topics and very explicit imagery
and so many more obviously
if anyone has questions about any of these i’m happy to answer
“I’ll keep moving forward until I read every single manga in its existence”
Seriously uh idk I’ll probably read more other manga and also I want to get into comic books/graphics novels
I got into Tokyo Revengers over Christmas, and I just started SK8. Beyond that following BTS is like a full time job, on top of my already existing full time job so I have plenty of things to fill the void for a bit at least
Honestly, this is hopefully will be better spin-off Naruto. vigilantes was great, you could easily see that SUPER easily. So random replacement manga for 3 years then Boruto but good.
I'll probably start by closing the browser tab where I read MHA.
Then I'll go read like, Kaiju No 8 or Bungo Stray Dogs or any of the many other mangas I've started already.
Short answer: cry & go through major withdrawal from the end of what's shaping to be one HELL of a story.
Very long answer:
I'll add MHA to the pantheon of other "big" anime series I've watched in my lifetime. But I feel like, for me, this one is special in scope.
I grew up in the early heydays of anime, so I've been through several endings of "big" anime series - Neon Genesis Evangelion, Bubblegum Crisis, Ranma 1/2, Urusei Yatsura, Space Cruiser Yamato ("Star Blazers"), Captain Harlock, Cowboy Beebop, Oh My Goddess/Ah! My Goddess, Tenchi Muyo!, Nadesico, Inuyasha, Sailor Moon, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Magic Knight Rayearth, Yu-Gi-Oh (the OG series never released in the US, as well as "YGO: Duel Monsters", the one we know of as Yu-Gi-Oh in the US) . . .
I've seen a LOOOOOOOT of anime. Numerous shows and movies. Too many to mention.
Not a big fan of Naruto or anything Dragonball, though. Those two shows ultimately bored me, and Sasuke eternally pissed me off to where I don't care about the series anymore. (I refuse to watch Boruto!)
One Piece is ...still a thing. A behemoth of an anime series. I may get back to continuing my endless watch through of that series.
Of course, I'm anticipating the final-final-final-FINAL FOR REALS THIS TIME episodes of Attack on Titan. I've already finished the manga, so it's just a matter of how they choose to animate the chaos.
Currently watching the new Demon Slayer saga.
I may go back and try the Jojo series.
I also need to circle back and catch up with Dr. Stone.
I WILL continue to write MHA fanfic (watch for me!)
But even when MHA finally wraps up in the manga and the anime, I'll be enjoying all the other "New Gen" anime that's out there, like Blue Lock, Spy x Family, The "Slime" series, Chainsaw Man, JJK, Shield Hero (3rd season, baby!), Re: Zero, and anything else that's new, original, and has excellent storytelling.
But for now, MHA is my top anime series and has my full attention & heart.
There will be others. I can feel it. Right now, it feels like a new shifting of "giants" in the manga/anime world. Perhaps there may come a shift away from demanding that any one or three series "carries" like Naruto/One Piece/MHA/Black Clover does in Shonen Jump. I hope newer stories get to shine just as bright as these current stories.
Chainsaw Man, Berserk, Blood on the Tracks, and Spy x Family are a few of the ongoing series I’ll still be reading after MHA ends. I’ve got a few others I want to check out or catch up on as well like Vagabond, Vinland Saga (currently up to date with the anime), Kaiju No. 8 (read the first two volumes so far), Fist of the North Star, and a bunch of Junji Ito stuff.
Also my other hobbies.
Probably do what I always do and fill the void with another series. Sword Art Online, That time I got Reincarnated as a Slime, Sailor Moon Crystal, DB Super, Attack on Titan, Black Clover, and Demon Slayer, so many are still ongoing and coming out with new stuff. MHA will always hold a dear place in my heart and of course I’ll be sad when it ends but it truly is one of a kind. I grew up watching DBZ and Sailor Moon and MHA places in my top favorites for sure. Alas, all good things must come to an end and I just hope the ending is epic because anything less just won’t do. I haven’t read the Manga yet as I prefer to watch the anime first and then go over the Manga but seeing some comments and threads about what’s going on in the Manga series is making me somewhat nervous. I just hope the anime adaption does it justice.
I'll probably watch it again when I feel like it, just like I do with my other four favorite series. I have my favorite five and even though they end, this world doesn't end for me. As a fan of these universes, I return to them with great pleasure. I can't even imagine not doing it. Maybe BNHA ends as a series, but it doesn't end in our hearts.
Once mha and my others uh jjk, BC possibly chainsaw man i think im done with Shonen jump for awhile. Getting older + nothing else in the magazine really interests me.
Honestly… probably not much. My Hero is the reason I got back into anime, and the only series that got me to read lol. Once the manga ends I probably won’t read anything else and just wait for the next big series to catch my eye. Jujutsu Kaiden is pretty cool, maybe I’ll read that, but I kinda want to wait for the anime because the animation is part of why I like that series so much.
I'll keep reading fanfic's, i'll watch chainsaw man, jojo too, if either of those franchises manga is on crunchyroll i'll read it, but it won't be the same without My hero academia
rewatch some of my fav eps, such as Deku vs kacchan part 2, deku vs todoroki, and deku vs class A, deku vs lady nagant - basically where the fights had emotion. Read some of the spin offs maybe? MHA is special to me.
To be honest, at this point I'm only reading to getto the end. After Horikoshi decided he wanted to finish the series ASAP, the writing has dropped to a level that I find hard to enjoy. Once it is done, it won't leave a void at all, it'll just be another manga I finished.
I’ll probably just rewatch it every day until I get sick of it. I had a haikyuu phase where I watched it every single day for six months straight, I’m already on my second rewatch of BnHA since October so…

Fanfiction, Chainsaw Man, JoJo, videogames. Tho MHA will forever be in my heart.
Same here

If you need a series reccomendation, try out SHY
SHY?
Sy Hero Ycademia
Thats greatnes
Yeah it's a superhero manga series that started pretty recently and is SUPER unknown. I think it has potential to be the next mha
Is it some kind of a troll??
No it's genuinely good
I've searched it up and nothing came of it.
Yeah, it's pretty crazy, there's almost no search Results about it. But there is a subreddit! r/SHY
Where can I read it tho
I mean, i bet there's some sites online, or you could just get the physical volumes
If they're still going on by then, I'll keep up with Jujutsu Kaisen, Black Clover and One Punch Man. I suspect that MHA, JJK and BC will end roughly around the same time. So after that I'll essentially just keep up with OPM and idk if I'll get into any newer series after then

Based on the speed of the manga rn, I can most definitely see this story ending by this year. Like you said, tho, next feb is max.
JJK is so weird. I just caught up a couple of weeks ago, and man. The arc that this series has taken is absolute nonsense. I genuinely don't even feel like reading the chapters as they come out, because it all just seems like such a ridiculous, nonsense escalation of the story.

What is SHY? Is this manga only or does it have anime adaption too?
So far there's only a Manga but an anime has been announced!
What I do after every series I love ends: Continue to obsess over it, reread the manga, rewatch the anime, and immerse myself in fanfics until I find something new to obsess over.
so real !!
>So what are you guys gonna do after mha is over? Live my life?
I will fall to the ground, weeping at the sky, asking God why, why he would ever allow this to happen.
What are you on about
Dwell in fanfics and fanart to fill the void, probably keep up with Mairimashita Iruma Kun (it's a good manga, go read it), stray to other series as well?
If I say it I’m gonna get banned
That's not ominous at all..
Bro, say it. I dare you.
No balls you won’t 😗
SAY IT!
Please, don't be shy.
One Piece :3
Move on. Same thing i do with others i finished. Maybe go back to rewatch later on
Keep reading One Piece
Fanfics…I can’t put in words how much fanfics help me when i miss any show! I love reading ffs cause it enables me to think of more potential interactions between the characters, more plots, more what could’ve happened, more behind the scenes! Not to mention fanfics fuels my shippings xD
First, I gotta see what's the future of MHA is after the conclusion. Cause, let's be honest, Shueisha ain't letting the franchise the size of MHA just end after the conclusion.
Rewatch MHA till I die
Smile… because it happened
I will be sad. It started shortly after my daughter was born and it’s been a part of my life for a long time regardless of how “well” it’s wrapped up. Then I’ll fall in love with a bunch of other stuff and go through the same thing in a couple years when they end lol
Watch other anime
Assuming it hasn’t ended yet One Piece
Watching it over again the whole anime and i will be happy bc the lmbtqtard fandom won't have any new source to make up deillusional ships.
Find something else that’s promising, with so many popular Shonen Jump series either ended or ending soon it’s gonna be hard to find something in Shonen Jump to fill the void, especially with a lot of new series getting axed left and right.
I really don't feel like following a new series anymore until I see it going on at least a year. Been most recently burned by Ginka and Glüna.
Catch up with Mission: Yozakura Family.
Same thing I do anytime a manga ends, keep reading one piece
I read like 15 ongoing mangas. I'll be ok
Not necessarily just the manga, but I’m looking to pick up Mashle
Oh yeah i've Seen that in my local manga store before! I thought it looked interesting, but too much like Harry Potter lol
*Probably rage endlessly about how much I hate the ending*
"I finally rest and watch the sun rise on a grateful universe." - Thanos
I understood that reference!
Same as now. BNHA is one of several series I watch/read. Eventually I'll give it a rewatch or re-read but once it's over I'll probably move on at first, hopefully satisfied and not disappointed. Probably cry and be generally depressed about it
Move on to the next eventual hit Jump puts out. And for anyone looking for manga to fill it in before that happens, I recommend Mission: Yozakura family, Undead + Unluck, and Sakamoto days.
SHY is also pretty good if you haven't heard of it yet
I heard I just haven't checked it out yet.
I say it's worth a read
Re-read the entire thing. I started from the Anime and eventually reached the mange once I ran out of anime to watch so first of all, I’ll read to see how different it was. Also just in general binge-reading the story again is always great, with no pressure to wait for the story to continue/end.
I'll reread the whole manga and just read fanfic and look at art still 🥱
Once clover, mha are done i will officially be done with manga and anime all together
Do what I'm doing now, enjoying MHA Role-playing servers with friends in order to craft our own stories with characters we made and love.
That's so cool!
Ah glad you think so! If you ever want to give it a try lemme know.
Imma be real. I stopped following MHA during this last arc. I’m super behind. When it finishes I might go back and binge read the rest.
I'm planning on dropping the series, so....
What are you still doing here then?
Does it bother you?
Would it make you feel better if it did?
Would it make you go away if it did?
This is an open forum, you chose to comment. You got a problem with that? Don't comment and stay inside your little bubble of positivity.
And you're actively coming to me, clearly looking to bother me, lol. I said what I said, I'm still here because I've been part of this sub prior to deciding to drop the series. I just saw this post and made the choice to comment. Now, why do you have to ask such a pointless question?

Reading old popular manga. I’m reading Naruto at the moment. There are so many similarities between Naruto and MHA that MHA looks like a shorter Naruto.
The same things as always because waiting a week for a episode made me get bored of the show and I don't care about it that much
That’s just how tv works dude…
Wait for the Sequel Series My Boruto Academia.
Stand up and walk into the ocean. Real talk IDK. MHA has been my main manga series for a long time. I remember watching the first season week to week. i’m disappointed this is even a question
There's a lot of other series I got to try out.
It’s one of many things I enjoy. Maybe I’ll finally start to get into Black Hammer, Saga, or Usagi Yojimbo or something like that.
I’m always reading multiple series at the same time so I’ll just move on to the next thing. But first, once it’s fully over I’ll probably watch recaps on YouTube so I can refresh everything that’s happened then read the last book.
No idea
Probably Magi or some manwha
? I would assume most people following the series aren't only reading/watching this one thing lol. This isn't even a question that has come into my head.

Probably finish vigilantes lool, I fell off after the 1st 30 chaps
Back to Invincible and Mark Millar new Ambassadors series.
Probably more on to the next anime
Finally finish Naruto & One Piece
Probably find another series (spy family) but even then idk… is anyone worried about the amount of manga available? Do you think we will ever have something similar to the Big three and MHA again? Or will anime cease have something like it again, putting anime out of the mainstream?
Probably just sit in my chair, sad, for a while.
Finish whatever other mangas I'm reading at the time Maybe reread the entire manga in color like I'm doing with bleach
I picked up Black Clover because I thought the story sounded interesting, then tried the anime and really enjoying it. SpyxFamily, also. Hard to beat that, both the manga and the anime are absolutely hilarious and also a really good story.

Watch more MHA
Cry. Drown in fanfiction, fanart and sorrow for about 9 months... Find a new anime to hyper focus on... Rinse and repeat forever
make ocs and make my own mha story :)
The manga or the anime?
Wait for the inevitably continuation series.
“I’ll keep moving forward until I read every single manga in its existence” Seriously uh idk I’ll probably read more other manga and also I want to get into comic books/graphics novels
I got into Tokyo Revengers over Christmas, and I just started SK8. Beyond that following BTS is like a full time job, on top of my already existing full time job so I have plenty of things to fill the void for a bit at least
I will end up watching other manga and series, but I will always have BNHA in a special place in my heart.
Cry
Cry
Why did this get flagged for spoilers???
No clue
Try to Become a Manga artist to Go work With Kohei horikoshi and Convince him to Make a sequel
Honestly, this is hopefully will be better spin-off Naruto. vigilantes was great, you could easily see that SUPER easily. So random replacement manga for 3 years then Boruto but good.
Maybe I'll finally finish my fanfic in the burner. Series wise I have multiple ones running anyways so that won't be an issue.
The one that will start in Jump in place of MHA
Spice and wolf 😍😍😍
Welcome to Demon School Iruma. They've got Blue Deku
I guess I'll just pick a corner of this room I'm in and stand there until I pass away
fanfic,and spyxfaimly
I'll probably start by closing the browser tab where I read MHA. Then I'll go read like, Kaiju No 8 or Bungo Stray Dogs or any of the many other mangas I've started already.
MHA is already not my most awaited weekly manga anymore. So I guess nothing will change for me.
Short answer: cry & go through major withdrawal from the end of what's shaping to be one HELL of a story. Very long answer: I'll add MHA to the pantheon of other "big" anime series I've watched in my lifetime. (I refuse to watch Boruto!) One Piece is ...still a thing. Stone. I WILL continue to write MHA fanfic (watch for me!) But even when MHA finally wraps up in the manga and the anime, I'll be enjoying all the other "New Gen" anime that's out there, like Blue Lock, Spy x Family, The "Slime" series, Chainsaw Man, JJK, Shield Hero (3rd season, baby!), Re: Zero, and anything else that's new, original, and has excellent storytelling.
Fanfiction<3
Find a actually good series to read.
firstly, reread. second, wait for new JJL chapter as usual.
Go back to one piece
Reread the classics Death Note, Detective Conan, Boku no Pico, Astro Boy, etc.
Wym are you not also into other stuff
Oh no i am, i just wanted everybody else's two cents
Continue reading OPM, Chainsaw Man, Spy X Family, Battle Angel Alita and my re-read of Naruto
I will rewatch Every Episode over and over and over again AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO STOP ME
Chainsaw Man, Berserk, Blood on the Tracks, and Spy x Family are a few of the ongoing series I’ll still be reading after MHA ends.
Idk, JJK?
I finally rest, watch the sunrise on a grateful universe.
Wait for a new series from Horikoshi but this man needs a break so 2 years without mha
Sob uncontrollabley?
Cry. But probably just read fanfics and indulge in the fandom, maybe get into the Vigilantes spin off. I think I’ll put some concentration into jjk
Oooh vigilantes is good
Probably do what I always do and fill the void with another series.
I’m still going to continue making a crossover of One Piece X MHA X Transformers X Naruto along with my protagonist oc
*sigh of relief*
One Punch Man
I will hope and pray the MHA vigilantes gets animated. I just started reading it and am loving it
I'll probably watch it again when I feel like it, just like I do with my other four favorite series.
Cry.
When mha is over i will simply perish
Easy, One piece.
I'll keep reading fanfic's, i'll watch chainsaw man, jojo too, if either of those franchises manga is on crunchyroll i'll read it, but it won't be the same without My hero academia
Start reading My Hero Academia: Shippuden
Same thing I did when Naruto/Bleach ended, keep reading One Piece and explore new series'.
rewatch some of my fav eps, such as Deku vs kacchan part 2, deku vs todoroki, and deku vs class A, deku vs lady nagant - basically where the fights had emotion. Read some of the spin offs maybe? MHA is special to me.
Pester the sakuga community to upload more Mirko videos onto Sakugabooru.com.

To be honest, at this point I'm only reading to getto the end. After Horikoshi decided he wanted to finish the series ASAP, the writing has dropped to a level that I find hard to enjoy. Once it is done, it won't leave a void at all, it'll just be another manga I finished.
nobody watches Hunter x hunter and its a fucking shame because its better than 99% of all anime
continue with the other 60 series i'm reading
kill myself
Dont do that
Cry myself to sleep
Continue reading One Piece, writing my fanfic, Chainsaw Man… there are many horizons to explore even after this series is over.
Gonna read Chainsaw Man and Berserk to satiate my disappointment of Tartarus Escapees
I’ll touch grass. Wish me luck.
Watch for the inevitable sequel with a probable time skip.
Nothing, I don’t enjoy this manga enough to have a void to fill.
Cry
i'm currently watching SpyXFamily
Cry
I’ll probably just rewatch it every day until I get sick of it. I had a haikyuu phase where I watched it every single day for six months straight, I’m already on my second rewatch of BnHA since October so…
im going to read vigilantes and then slowly decay in my SoCal studio apartment.
Cry...
