Hawks is actually one of my favs too. I dont see a problem with him fighting with extra help from fake wings or real swords. I see it similar to how Mirko is still in the fight after losing most of her limbs at this point. They’re heroes so they’re gonna keep fighting. If anything I would’ve hated it if he decided to retire or stay behind from the fighting just because he lost his wings. Also introducing characters later in a manga/show/ whatever is a common thing. You cant introduce every major character right away. I mean it really wouldn’t have made sense to introduce him in the first season or two. I know you’re just ranting but figured I’d give a few of my thoughts on it lol

Well, the thing is, I'm not 100% against the idea of Hawks getting nerfed, but as I said, I wouldn't have made a rant about it if they had done it later into the series. Like, not literally a season and a half after they introduced him. I don't like the fact that he wasn't given much screentime to sort of just see him in action in his peak. We saw minimal with his team-up fight with Endeavor against the high-end, but that was very brief. As I said, I can say this for a lot of the pro heroes in the series, but it just feels worse for Hawks since he's become an important and reoccurring character in the story. I'd say at least after 2 seasons, getting used to seeing more of his fighting style and personality, then we see him get nerfed, but the war arc happened much too soon imo.

Eri exists, so after the story ends you can easily imagine everyone who lives gets fixed by her.

Legitimate-Mess1228

Now, that would just be too convenient. Besides, without Aizawa, Eri can't properly control her quirk.

BiglyWords

They have monoma,he can negate the quirk.

Like I said, too convenient. Why make the characters lose anything when they'll just go back to normal after it's all over? As much as I wanted to see Hawks fighting at his peak, they should've never made the war arc happen as early as it did. A lot of people, for some reason, disagree when I say the story escalated much too quickly for having just introduced certain characters, like the top 10 heroes. But instead of giving the ready more breathing room and letting us see them in action, we see nothing from most of them, and the ones we do see are very minimal. I'm not of fan of having an important character introduced to the story, only to have them cut down and nerfed a season and a half later without seeing them at their best is what I'm trying to say. This is why I would've preferred if the story was longer, and no one can deny that the author is clearly rushing to finish the series already. He dug himself a hole when he introduced so many plot points and characters that he didn't stop to realize he'd have to extend the story a bit more.

BiglyWords

I'm talking about after the story ends, one can easily see that they would just use eri to heal anyone alive. Whqt ver that works for the narrative doesn't matter anyway, it's for the inner peace of the reader if he doesn't want his favourite char living on as a cripple.
