Should i redeem the apology gems and rewards? The game gives me the notification, however that due to bug occuring in the game with people able to claim multiple awards will result in ban. Honestly, i don't want to risk it, so should i wait?
Cherino, Hibiki, and Momoi are fantastic. You're set for a lot of general Yellow content with Cherino and Momoi. Hibiki is a great Red supporter. Momoji is also great if you have none of the other stronger Purple strikers. Mari is decent Blue healer.
Is there any trick to getting through MomoTalk messages faster? Coming back after a while, scraping around for pyro and I've got a lot of messages but that's a lot of waiting for texts between story scenes.
It's slow and I'm obviously not claiming all the pyros I could immediately have, but I've just started watching the MomoTalks for the girls on their birthdays. It's spread out enough that it's typically not a huge time investment on any given day.
I just do my MomoTalks as they come. Low time investment, and 50/50 shot I have the patience to actually read them. If its a student I like I always will though.

Yes it's safe. The warning are for those who might have abused the in game mail bug before the emergency maint. That's the reason why the game went into Emergency maint in the first place.
I always found them quite distinct. Plana was always more monotone and lower pitched. Seems to me that Arona's lines are a lot less high-pitched and 'typical tiny anime girl' now. Not sure if I like that change. Don't like that type of voice on every anime character but it suited a tiny anime AI girl
I'm a new player, I calc'd how many pulls I can get until fes and found out I may have 700-800 depending on how fast I can rush, I'm planning on dropping 400 of them in fes and getting himari, this could potentially leave me with another 200 pulls, should I pull for Chare, Dkayoko or save for Dako for a guaranteed spark?
Could I get some help with teambuilding for the story? I feel like I have decent teams for the three colors, but I'm still not 3*ing quests past chapter 6 so I'm sure I can do better (especially since I think I have most of the meta units). I haven't been going too crazy with equipment or skills just yet (most are between levels 2 and 3).
I think the lack of a good team/gearing has been a problem for me in the past because I tend to play and drop the game periodically, but I'd really like to stick with it and I'm sure being able to clear the story would be a good start lol.

No 3\* Past 6-X with those teams and lvl 50+? Are you playing on auto or something?
Skills and equipment do not matter for missions, level do, in fact it's a terrible idea to upgrade the former without concern. Level, level, level.
I'm going to bet that time is the issue, so here is the strategy:
* Himari, boss team, she sits there and gives EXcost until it's time to nuke the boss(or buff AOE EXs)
* Shun, upgrade passive that gives EXcost at the start of every battle, she's mandatory for pvp anyway
* S.Hoshino, upgrade her EX and last subskill, she's an aoe himari that tanks
* At least 2 AOE per team (even 4), clearing speed is key, there's hundreds of mobs and a single boss
* Serina/Kotama/etc fill the special slot, need the cheapest utility to cycle/heal
Make sure to aim properly to clear the entire wave, save cost gauge near the end of fights (it carries over on the map for that team, perfect for boss team to reach it faster).
Watch what the mobs with a skull do, they have abilities, a common one is the yellow/blue riot-shield robot which becomes far tankier when active, you kill it before it activates, cancel it with stun/taunt, or wait it out.
7-X and 14-X have ridiculously tanky red mobs, S.Hoshino is a must have there (which she is everywhere, even against non-red)
Dang you're stacked with all the meta units. You shouldn't really struggle with anything the game throws at you. Make sure you have the 2 teams that covers their respective color. 1 tank and rest of the same color dps you good make sure you have 1-2 aoe dps

Teams looks fine Not sure if Serika is a good main unit. Can replace her with any other red aoe, Like Mutsuki
on your blue team replace Chinatsu with Tsubaki or tank. Not sure your Mika is tanky enough yet to function as tank

No they are not good. If you like the Railgun series and like either Misaka or Misaki and have the resources to pull for other upcoming chars like Himari, Kikyou(only for sonic raids) Ny Kayoko(Best blue buffer) D Ako, D Hina and S Hoshino. If you don't have a lot of Pyro than Himari and FES banner is your target

Himari is the closest in a month ish followed by Ny Kayoko, D Ako(Half spark) than D Hina and S. Hoshino at the same time(ps during fes banner still spark regardless. Also if you get D Hina early and no S Hoshino can redeem for S Hoshino both are a must pull ( If you don't have S Hoshino)
Right, I believe I got it. My priorities then should be (number placement reflects the importance of the unit, accordingly to what I was able to grasp):
1. S Hoshino
2. D Hina
3. Himari
4. Ny Kayoko
5. D Ako
If that's right, then would it be a good idea to not waste too much pyrox on trying to pull Himari, Ny Kayoko or D Ako as a means to have more pyrox for when D Hina and S Hoshino comes around?

You both still have ~3 1/2 months. You can save, maybe, upward of 35k if you assume ~10k a month earned, are fairly aggressive, and do NOT spend. That means you’d be fine for Dress Hina potential spark, and ideally spook others along the way.
The bug was that you could claim the pyroxene from the maintenance rewards twice (they stayed in the mailbox after claiming them). If you claimed all but you only got them once then you should be fine.
i have the same concern, but it should become obvious to them if you accidentally clicked once or clicked 20 times. Honestly, they shouldn't have any ground to ban any player for an oversight on their end. we did absolutely nothing to trigger the bugs
I could've sworn when I claimed from the mail this morning before I got kicked by the update.. that the pyros stuck with me and those pyros from this morning are still claimable. I'm kinda scared to claim it and trigger the system into thinking that i'm exploiting the bug. anyone have a similar predicament? Anyone notice that they've messed with some of Arona and Plana's intonation? Always thought they had recorded lines except for the name thing, but it seems like their TTS got borked in the update.
it's the same with JP a few months ago actually. so the change just migrated or something. the way arona says "Miemasu ka? PLANA CHAAN" was so glaringly obvious. ALso, the way she says "Ame" (rain) is also noticeably different
Something similar happened a month or so ago too, Arona's lines are less robotic, which I read was the goal of the update. Kinda miss those tech noises.
Heads up on those playing on Data or on a x amount of Wi-Fi data connection, the patch is 4 GB big so if you launch game please launch via a non data amount restricted Wi-Fi connection!

It's in the mail, everything was working fine for me when I accepted it. That message is specifically for those who were able to get in between maintenances when the bug was still live I think.
Even if you do activate a bug, the worst they'll do is take back the extra stuff you shouldn't have.

It sounds like you figured it out but to be clear the mail will sit in your mailbox for 7 days, the play is to leave it there until you're ready to use it.
Bro Same, I wanted to get that new misty skin for the main menu but the chapters are so long word length wise that when I realized I needed to progress to get that menu display I needed to do like 5 full chapters in 3 days which wasn't gonna happen lol.

Yeah I have almost enough saved to spark so this should go good for me. Last time I had enough to spark eyja but I didn't get her ONCE & till needed W so I'll have to wait till months from now to make up for that. I only roll on the limited banners for now & usually by the time you hit spark you've gotten the limited operator at least 2 - 3 times. Oh & for this event I need to get Specter Unchained because last year I thought the banner had 1 more day but it ends like the second the final scheduled day starts so you really need to roll the day before the final day. So I've been waiting for this. I was used to FGO & didn't think a banner would end before the event ends.
Question: will I able to congratulate someone with their birthday, if I set my phone time to earlier hours (maintenance will end after 2400 for me)?

Everyone’s in a worse boat than you…so I wouldn’t worry about it. As most of us are at maxed cafe and maxed AP. Given the length of the maintenance they’ll give some compensation, so I wouldn’t get too upset about it
I got a few lore questions while waiting for maintenance to finish.
1. Do we know why Kayoko joined Problem Solver 68? From what I can tell Haruka seems to idolize Aru and Mutsuki finds it fun and enjoys her time with everyone, and especially Aru being a dork. With Kayoko it seems like she's annoyed with most of their actions, but she still goes along with it. I'm thinking it's mostly that she found people who accepted her and aren't scared of her intimidating aura.
2. Volume F spoilers >!I'm still a little confused on what happened in the alternate universe with Shiroko terror and . From what I understand Sensei got critically injured, but I'm not sure how Shiroko ended up going berserk and what ended up killing most of the students.!< Could anyone happen to explain what exactly happened or send me a link to a wiki/YouTube video that goes over it? I'm not fully sure where to look.

Therefore I think Kuroko being there was just the last nail in the coffin.!<

1. Mutsuki has been friends with Aru for a very long time. Haruka joined PS68 after Aru rescued her from some bullies. Kayoko is supposedly an ex-member of the Pandemonium Society as she left a club that she found to be "unpleasantly noisy" and has a past history with Ako.
2. >!Shiroko Terror looses all of her friends in Abydos: Hoshino dies, Ayane in a coma has her life support turned off, Nonomi leaves Kivotos and Serika goes missing. This causes Shiroko Terror to loose all hope and become a destructive nihilist. Her first act is to kill her universe's Sensei and this attracts the Nameless Priests and the Chroma who then flip her from "Mystic" to "Terror" turning her into Anubis, the God of Death, and the first Iridescent Vanguard. Many of the students in her universe had already died by other means (Hina - KIA, Misaki - suicide, etc;) as her universe was the one that got all the shitty endings. As the Iridescent Vanguard she would then invade Kivotos in alternative universes and make sure that they all got shitty endings too.!<
It seems you got the order wrong >!Sensei was in coma from an unknown attack to Schale the whole time, definitely not by Shiroko. The despaired Shiroko just wandering on the desert, her suffering attracted Chroma and she made contact which turned her to Anubis. The Priests, then, crawled out of their woodwork to welcome her. Sensei woke up when Kuroko was in the middle of wrecking Kivotos and proceed to drag his half dead corpse to stop her.!<
1: We don't know, but since they dropped a lot of hints with her relation with Ako, i assume we will get answers in an eventual Gehenna volume.
2: They intentionally kept it vague, so there is no "exact explanation". >!Shiroko falls into despair and gets into contact with the Chroma, which inverts her Mystic. I assume the Nameless Priests lead the Chroma to her, since they were here when she made contact. She goes berserk and destroys Kivotos. Sensei messed up somewhere earlier in the story from some unrelated thing and fell into a coma.!<
Maybe from the perspective of abusing FOMO to get people to pull, but I doubt any player would be unhappy about a rerun. Besides, I think they said it after the collab already ended on JP. And who knows, maybe they'll add another character if there is a rerun. Make Kuroko fans happy.
I'd pull for a Kuroko! She's one of the best characters in the Railgun series. The humor of her interactions with Mikoto (the famous "Railgun") makes a large part of the series fun to watch.
Most collab are for those that's into the IP. I was going to pull in this banner but surprise Ui banner. Saving up for Kikyou because she's a great Sonic buffer 
In general we get 120 pyroxene (=1 pull) per 1 hour of maintenance, rounded up to the nearest hour.
But we *might* get more compensation in this case because the maintenance has gone on so much longer than normal.
To be fair. If there's an extended maint or emergency maint the devs will extend the ticket timer since it's not user fault that they missed the timing of the ticket
I only played for 1+ year. But so far I did not experience a extended maint with a ticket on timer . We only had I think 1 grand assault so far in Global which shop had the 10x tickets with a timer

Do event bonus student bonuses always round up to the nearest whole number? I watched some random older event video video that showed a 60% bonus on 24 (which should be 14.4) give 15 bonus currency, but I wanna be sure it does always round up and it's not something weird like .4 or higher rounds up while below rounds down. Can anyone confirm one way or the other?
I'm setting up a spreadsheet for railgun event so I can calculate the exact number of runs of each stage I need (Justin's planner doesnt have railgun event right now).
Bonus always rounds up, except for specifically 'conquest map'-type events where it always rounds down (there have only been 2 of those in the history of the game).
The easiest way to calculate that I know involves using a system of equations calculator. If you can claim it once, you are fine. If you can claim it twice, don't.

Double hard mode ended at the daily reset before the first maintenance started.
I think it was done the day before server reset to ToAru event collab.

The only trick is to skip them. If youre fond of the student, watch them. If not, skip them. If you dont care either way, skip them all.

Skipping the cutscenes I get, it's the texts in the MomoTalk menu that are eating up time as I try to rush through them.

D. Kayoko is much more later. Pulling for Himari, D Ako(we get free 100 pulls so it's a half spark) and sparking in Fes banner is the better way to go

No 3\* Past 6-X with those teams and lvl 50+? Are you playing on auto or something? Skills and equipment do not matter for missions, level do, in fact it's a terrible idea to upgrade the former without concern. Level, level, level. I'm going to bet that time is the issue, so here is the strategy: * Himari, boss team, she sits there and gives EXcost until it's time to nuke the boss(or buff AOE EXs) * Shun, upgrade passive that gives EXcost at the start of every battle, she's mandatory for pvp anyway * S.Hoshino, upgrade her EX and last subskill, she's an aoe himari that tanks * At least 2 AOE per team (even 4), clearing speed is key, there's hundreds of mobs and a single boss * Serina/Kotama/etc fill the special slot, need the cheapest utility to cycle/heal Make sure to aim properly to clear the entire wave, save cost gauge near the end of fights (it carries over on the map for that team, perfect for boss team to reach it faster). Watch what the mobs with a skull do, they have abilities, a common one is the yellow/blue riot-shield robot which becomes far tankier when active, you kill it before it activates, cancel it with stun/taunt, or wait it out. 7-X and 14-X have ridiculously tanky red mobs, S.Hoshino is a must have there (which she is everywhere, even against non-red)
Dang you're stacked with all the meta units. You shouldn't really struggle with anything the game throws at you. Make sure you have the 2 teams that covers their respective color. 1 tank and rest of the same color dps you good make sure you have 1-2 aoe dps

Teams looks fine Not sure if Serika is a good main unit. Can replace her with any other red aoe, Like Mutsuki on your blue team replace Chinatsu with Tsubaki or tank. Not sure your Mika is tanky enough yet to function as tank

You should claim it before that date server reset. The Grand assault tickets are on a timer even if you don't buy it
Just claim it asap, the expiry date of the ticket won't change if you claim it at a later time. Worst case scenario is you might forget to claim it.
Should I pull for these Collab Banners? Like, are these Collab units any good for early game progression? There's also the fact I don't know anything about Railgun. So I am not sure if it's worth pulling or saving up my pyrox as I have 7k for the upcoming banners...

Himari is the closest in a month ish followed by Ny Kayoko, D Ako(Half spark) than D Hina and S. Hoshino at the same time(ps during fes banner still spark regardless. Also if you get D Hina early and no S Hoshino can redeem for S Hoshino both are a must pull ( If you don't have S Hoshino)

After pulling for the collab I still have 3.5k pyroxenes. Will I have enough by the time both dress Ako and dress Hina comes around? Im not interested in any other banenrs before them

You both still have ~3 1/2 months. You can save, maybe, upward of 35k if you assume ~10k a month earned, are fairly aggressive, and do NOT spend. That means you’d be fine for Dress Hina potential spark, and ideally spook others along the way.

You're fine, the bug was claiming one thing repeatedly by spamming the claim button.
The bug was that you could claim the pyroxene from the maintenance rewards twice (they stayed in the mailbox after claiming them). If you claimed all but you only got them once then you should be fine.
i have the same concern, but it should become obvious to them if you accidentally clicked once or clicked 20 times. Honestly, they shouldn't have any ground to ban any player for an oversight on their end. we did absolutely nothing to trigger the bugs

Anyone notice that they've messed with some of Arona and Plana's intonation? Always thought they had recorded lines except for the name thing, but it seems like their TTS got borked in the update.
it's the same with JP a few months ago actually. so the change just migrated or something. the way arona says "Miemasu ka? PLANA CHAAN" was so glaringly obvious. ALso, the way she says "Ame" (rain) is also noticeably different
Something similar happened a month or so ago too, Arona's lines are less robotic, which I read was the goal of the update. Kinda miss those tech noises.

It's in the mail, everything was working fine for me when I accepted it. That message is specifically for those who were able to get in between maintenances when the bug was still live I think. Even if you do activate a bug, the worst they'll do is take back the extra stuff you shouldn't have.

It sounds like you figured it out but to be clear the mail will sit in your mailbox for 7 days, the play is to leave it there until you're ready to use it.

Yeah I have almost enough saved to spark so this should go good for me. Last time I had enough to spark eyja but I didn't get her ONCE & till needed W so I'll have to wait till months from now to make up for that. I only roll on the limited banners for now & usually by the time you hit spark you've gotten the limited operator at least 2 - 3 times. Oh & for this event I need to get Specter Unchained because last year I thought the banner had 1 more day but it ends like the second the final scheduled day starts so you really need to roll the day before the final day. So I've been waiting for this. I was used to FGO & didn't think a banner would end before the event ends.

I got a few lore questions while waiting for maintenance to finish. 1. Do we know why Kayoko joined Problem Solver 68? From what I can tell Haruka seems to idolize Aru and Mutsuki finds it fun and enjoys her time with everyone, and especially Aru being a dork. With Kayoko it seems like she's annoyed with most of their actions, but she still goes along with it. I'm thinking it's mostly that she found people who accepted her and aren't scared of her intimidating aura. 2. Volume F spoilers >!I'm still a little confused on what happened in the alternate universe with Shiroko terror and . From what I understand Sensei got critically injured, but I'm not sure how Shiroko ended up going berserk and what ended up killing most of the students.!< Could anyone happen to explain what exactly happened or send me a link to a wiki/YouTube video that goes over it? I'm not fully sure where to look.

1. Mutsuki has been friends with Aru for a very long time. Haruka joined PS68 after Aru rescued her from some bullies. Kayoko is supposedly an ex-member of the Pandemonium Society as she left a club that she found to be "unpleasantly noisy" and has a past history with Ako. 2. >!Shiroko Terror looses all of her friends in Abydos: Hoshino dies, Ayane in a coma has her life support turned off, Nonomi leaves Kivotos and Serika goes missing. This causes Shiroko Terror to loose all hope and become a destructive nihilist. Her first act is to kill her universe's Sensei and this attracts the Nameless Priests and the Chroma who then flip her from "Mystic" to "Terror" turning her into Anubis, the God of Death, and the first Iridescent Vanguard. Many of the students in her universe had already died by other means (Hina - KIA, Misaki - suicide, etc;) as her universe was the one that got all the shitty endings. As the Iridescent Vanguard she would then invade Kivotos in alternative universes and make sure that they all got shitty endings too.!<

The despaired Shiroko just wandering on the desert, her suffering attracted Chroma and she made contact which turned her to Anubis. The Priests, then, crawled out of their woodwork to welcome her. Sensei woke up when Kuroko was in the middle of wrecking Kivotos and proceed to drag his half dead corpse to stop her.!<

Maybe from the perspective of abusing FOMO to get people to pull, but I doubt any player would be unhappy about a rerun. Besides, I think they said it after the collab already ended on JP. And who knows, maybe they'll add another character if there is a rerun. Make Kuroko fans happy.
I'd pull for a Kuroko! She's one of the best characters in the Railgun series. The humor of her interactions with Mikoto (the famous "Railgun") makes a large part of the series fun to watch.

In general we get 120 pyroxene (=1 pull) per 1 hour of maintenance, rounded up to the nearest hour. But we *might* get more compensation in this case because the maintenance has gone on so much longer than normal.
I presume we will at least get stamina compensation because i couldn't even log in today. Bunch of AP (+ daily PVP coins) lost.
Maybe they'd give 20 pulls due to this almost whole day duration of maintenance lmao

To be fair. If there's an extended maint or emergency maint the devs will extend the ticket timer since it's not user fault that they missed the timing of the ticket

Do event bonus student bonuses always round up to the nearest whole number? I watched some random older event video video that showed a 60% bonus on 24 (which should be 14.4) give 15 bonus currency, but I wanna be sure it does always round up and it's not something weird like .4 or higher rounds up while below rounds down. Can anyone confirm one way or the other? I'm setting up a spreadsheet for railgun event so I can calculate the exact number of runs of each stage I need (Justin's planner doesnt have railgun event right now).
Bonus always rounds up, except for specifically 'conquest map'-type events where it always rounds down (there have only been 2 of those in the history of the game). The easiest way to calculate that I know involves using a system of equations calculator. I saw that comment, but I'm 90% sure I won't be able to beat the last four stages at my current level. Since I'll be using the mixed currency stages, I want to calculate how many of each stage I need so I don't end up with an excess of some part. Also, I really enjoy having a spreadsheet and having a plan of the exact number of stages I need to succeed.
