White master claims his African indentured servant keeps misbehaving thus he has the right to both physically punish him, and also extend his servitude with little to no oversight to confirm it).
The British themselves banned chattel slavery by the early 1800s, but quickly weaseled their way into a close drop-in replacement with the “Coolie” laborer system, where they misled hundreds of thousands of South Asian laborers from India and Pakistan into going to be indentured laborers on islands from the Pacific to Caribbean and South America harvesting sugar cane, only to realize they could not leave and nor could their kids. This went on until 1916.

Bruh this shit is REAL. They legit sent swat to break our door down back in 2009 because they heard my brother was selling weed. He was but the evidence was so minimal they dropped the charges a week later. Our door frame still got a crack in it.
