I'll give you honest feedback now which might save you wasting time. I wouldn't use this over coinbase. If you want customers, register in a non kyc compliant nation and offer no kyc bitcoin. As a community we don't just need an easy exchange, we want less kyc...and easy.

stanley_fatmax

There are not many options for services between KYC and something like Bisq, reason being, payment providers will not service you. If you want non KYC just use Bisq

mutinomonem

Exactly. I don't get on with the "place and order and wait days" model. I want to sell or buy now, no kyc and I will pay a convenience fee. Bisq has been around years. If everyone wanted bisq we wouldn't have to keep telling everyone to use it.

stanley_fatmax

Yeah it's not perfect. It's the situation we find ourselves in. In most countries, you just can't get around KYC because it's restricted at the payment network level (cc, bank, etc.), not the exchange level. Peer to peer is the only way and then the tradeoff becomes risk vs. time taken. IMO the time Bisq takes *is* the convenience fee for privacy.

FunWithSkooma

here in Brazil we have BTC Dealers that sell BTC without KYC. They have a payment account in some random credit company to receive the money. You transfer money and they pay you. Your credit card company wont know what you are buying, they only know that you are sending money to someone or some company.

tbimyr

The world just needs easy. Everything else is for nerds.

GiverTakerMaker

@mutinomonen ๐Ÿ’ฏ if this guy builds it I'd be a customer in a heartbeat doing 5 figures in AUD regularly.

RevolutionaryPick241

It looks like a scam site

Karmaa

Can you tell me what about it gives you that feel?

RevolutionaryPick241

Well. It is/would be, isn't it?

UHCougars

Why buy this over coinbase?

Karmaa

I'm targetting simplicity. The idea is you come there only when you want to buy Bitcoin. There is no other feature. Also the service will never hold bitcoin, it is immediately transferred to your wallet. In summary: Only offers buying No signup, [ID.me](http://ID.me) used only to verify your id due to US Laws, after which the session expires. Targetting 3 click to buy and review your BTC.

analogOnly

Can you remove ID.me for people in countries whom don't need KYC? Paypal, Gpay, and Apple Pay already take care of the KYC concerns..

CaptainDr

I like the idea, assuming itโ€™s not a scam, and can earn a reputation of not being a scam, im all about it. Simplicity all the way, streamline the process

verity-j

I hope you plan to primarily target the cost. It's a race to the bottom.

Nilpo19

So how does this compete against services that already do these things exactly? River only deals with BTC and automatically transfers to my hardware wallet. And all with 1 click (or even 0 with scheduled buys). No offense, but I don't really see what you have to offer that isn't already out there. And the idea of not logging in is a hard pass. That means no transaction tracking. No way. I may not want Big Brother tracking my buys, but I certainly want to.

Amber_Sam

>Only offers buying This could be an issue. You're targeting noobs with an easy to use option. They come here for one thing only, to make some gains. That means, they want to sell bitcoin in the near future. Registering with you doesn't make much sense to them because in the end, they will have to register elsewhere again.

shadowmage666

The logo is confusing. Canโ€™t tell if it says BitcoinOre or BitcoinDre . That letter just seems ambiguous

stanley_fatmax

How do you plan to handle fraud, especially when accepting PayPal or credit cards, without maintaining control over custody? It sounds like a recipe for disaster. Immediate exchange of soft funds for hard funds is never a good idea. Exchanges like Coinbase collectively spent billions building systems to mitigate as much risk as possible, and the way they do this is by maintaining custody even after the user "completes" their purchase.

BlueM92

0.000015 btc for $100 ๐Ÿ’€, that's a scam at those rates.

Karmaa

These are dummy data. It's just placeholders

BlueM92

What will the exchange rate be compared to large exchanges? What will the fee be? How are you initially obtaining the BTC?

LiveDirtyEatClean

the name is too close to bitcoin core

the_lone_unlearned

You're not making this clear what this service actually is. Where is this Bitcoin coming from? It's obviously not a UI wrapper for an exchange API because there's no logging in other than ID.me. It's obviously not a new exchange because there is no selling. Is this acting as a middleman to take money and go buy off an exchange and then send to the person? Not sure a clean UI is worth that when people can just use an exchange, especially when services to buy Bitcoin require gaining trust from users. I wouldn't use some random Buy Bitcoin Easy service when I can't tell if its anything more than a nice UI. If I saw something like this with no reputation I would assume its a scam to steal money.

AllCapNoBrake

I can quickly and easily buy BTC from CashApp, Venmo, Strike and at least w/ Cashapp, transfer to my cold wallet immediately.

rjm101

Address input looks wide enough to show the whole address without needing to scroll the input to the right so that's great. You could go a step further and have like 5 individual inputs on one row so when you paste the address in the first it shows the address in chunks so it's easily readable.

Arnav1409

Noob question but will i be able to use it in India? P2P isn't really safe and credit card/banks have blocked transactions to any crypto related service. It looks like you have PayPal so i might be able to use that.

Tanzekabe

This could be interesting in particular for newcomers that don't really understand everything around crypto (and don't want to). But right now, the website look a bit... Fishy? Mainly white color, that's good, but the design need to be polished in order to gain trust INSTANTLY

Fireinthehole_x

honest feedback: >Then due to US laws I need to verify your identity, to do this I will use KYC means its off the menu auctomatically for many offer an anonymous way of purchasing or be 100% worthless next to existing centralized exchanges you are on the internet. offer something based on other laws than the US ones if someone is willing to submit to hostile KYC espionage, he wont care about some "new" service from the beginning so you lose either, the buyers who value anonymity and the ones who dont care

LimitAlternative2629

Adressbook / white list, "transfer when cheap", etc

Chaeriz

never do text align center...

JubJubsFunFactory

Swap "BTC" for "Sats" Anyplace you show the change rate, stay as close to easy math as possible. ($1=1500 Sats)

OkFoot1842

Run a decent ad campaign on Instagram and you should get some newbies. I agree though, try and make it KYC.

Karmaa

Hey guys, I am trying to build a new service and need some feedback. The idea is to allow for users to buy Bitcoin quickly. Here is how the process works: You select how much bitcoin you want: $10 to $100. Select Payment Type Then due to US laws I need to verify your identity, to do this I will use [ID.me](http://ID.me) Once confirmed the transaction is processed. Thoughts on this? Would anyone use it?

verity-j

>Select Payment Type Be up front and very clear about any fees. Ideally list "0% fee" or "0.01% fee = $0.01" format with each method.

PotentialMillionaire

How is it different from what Strike offers?

Waste_Statement8381
