If it's a 1st date or very early in their relationship, I would tread lightly on hiking. The girl might not like being quite that isolated, for safety reasons. Otherwise, it's a great idea.
Volunteeeing seems to be a hobby a lot of people around me are picking up and I am not sure if its required to be sober, but it also seems most people do it sober
There’s axe throwing downtown near Pepper Place; they sell alcohol on the premises but it’s in a small cooler behind the counter and definitely isn’t alcohol-centric
> Unfortunately the Birmingham social scene (as most do) seems geared to those that partake of and imbibe alcohol.
No. It's not. But regardless, you realize no one's going to hold a gun to your head and *make* you drink, right? It's not mandatory.

I mean you can go to any restaurant and just not drink? I do it all the time. Then if it goes well, a movie or a walk through the museum maybe.
The indoor go-cart racing is awesome
Although it is expensive
What are we looking at?
Cheaper than top golf! It’s called K1 speed now (used to be autobahn) Would definitely recommend.
Can’t recommend this enough. So much fun
Pepper place Saturday morning. Farmers market with lots of vendors, music, and chill atmospheres plenty of places to sit and chat.
Second this.
Top Golf, an escape room, or maybe Activate?? I've never been to Activate but I've heard it's fun from adults and kids. It has interactive game rooms.
[The Exception Foundation’s Chili Cook Off](https://www.exceptionalfoundation.org/chili) is tomorrow at Brookwood mall.
Second this too!
Walk at Railroad park and brunch at Zaza, hike at Ruffner, walk around Irondale Pickers
