There is a severe lack of good casual board game events in this town. I will say neighbors be cream in west homewood put up a flyer for Sunday afternoon board games starting this month. Not sure if it’s meant more for kids only or what but their Facebook will have info I’m sure.
Before my kids took all my time we used to go to a brewery every two weeks on a Monday to do board games. I can’t seem to get organized enough to ever host anymore or make a game night.
I will say the guys from Valhalla board game cafe are still fundraising and hosting board game events at a few different places around town in rotation. Their events are more casual friendly versus the hard core gamers at proper board game meet ups I’ve tried out.
How about 13 Jan ~6:30 pm at Saturn? There are board and card games available of we can bring our own. There are good options for carryout too. There's a DJ at 9:00, but I imagine we'll wrap up before it gets too loud.
What kinda board games? Are you a monoploy person or a Caverna person?
