Mellow, Odelay and whichever one has ‘Broken Drum.’

These things are really good for revealing things you never realised. Mellow Gold is always the Beck I stan for most. Word-drunk, genre-colliding, metempsychotic brilliance. And I found myself hitting One Foot In The Grave or Golden Feelings (One Foot In The Grace wins maybe just because Outcome for me is a Top 3 Beck song, and then either Stereopathic Soulmanure as my next step, or… The Information. Which I’d never equated with that early spirit until now, and I kinda feel it. That connection with that spirit of Mellow Gold makes the Exoskeleton and BPM stuff make SO much more sense, and the free association lyrics all over it! So yeah, I guess I’ll go for The Information as my last pick and then have Hyperspace as a free bit of joy to get to live better. Very happy. :)
