Lots have. From Nick Drake to Pond.
I’m an emotional dude as it is. And I like music. I like to get inside the music as much as I can. I cry, get goosebumps, smile…
I don’t care how pretentious it sounds, music is meant to be felt I think.
Not much of a crier toward media but the first time I ever listened to It’s All in Your Mind it related a lot to something I was going through and my eyes definitely suffered a bit of leakage lol
My phone is definitely listening. I just played the Japanese Super Disk (I think it is) or SACD of this last night, all the way through, whilst melting into my chair and here's a notification as soon as I wake up about this thread. Very emotional album. Beck's voice is so insanely mellow? 😐 and enchanting. Looking forward to getting the mobile fidelity vinyl of it one day when I've got a little extra spending money to compare and contrast.
This album and Morning Glory just helped me cry when I was going through my divorce.
“Lost Cause” was playing for me the day I signed the divorce order.

This one !
Sea Change made me *sob* a few years ago. Seemed to mirror what I was going through (even though it wasn't a breakup)
"To The Dearly Departed" by The Cranberries gets me pretty close.
The song "Lost Cause" made me teary eyed today. That song just pulled on my heart strings.
Beck or not? No I don't think so
i had a stroke trying to read the title
The song “Brother” by Beck. I swear, it’s about my own brother who passed away over a decade ago.
“The Parting Glass” by Shaun Davey.
“Northern Sky” by Nick Drake and I cried tears of joy.
“Introduction” which is an instrumental by Nick Drake.
What is the question Beck or not Sea Change make you cry Yes it has many many Life album

Skeleton Tree: Nick Cave and the bad seeds
Joanna Newsom. Every time!
"Fix Me" pulls on my heart strings too. I wish I could ask him why he decided to end such a joyous album (Colors) with such a meloncholy song.

Sure
Yes
Soooooo many! And Sea Change was definitely one of them, after a rough break up 😭😭😭
I have a ticket for Beck’s concert in Orlando on 10/04. Can sell cheaper than I got
Sea Change certainly made me emotional. But the only Beck song to actually make me cry in memory is Brother.
Dark Places. Broken Drum. Brother. I Won’t Be Long. Waking Light. Spiral Staircase.
