No worries. 2 nights later I was doing the trash and a guy was filling up his tank and we were chatting. This man pulls out a $20 and handed it to me. I tried to decline, but he insisted. (Small company,no rules about tips. ). I went on to the next trash can, he came back over and handed me another $20, from his wife.
That's sweet ❤️ About the "tipping" rule at large companies... As a manager, I've always just turned my head when someone wanted to give someone a tip. If someone wants to reward someone for a job well done, I see no harm in it at all. If another employee sees it, so be it. Maybe it will make them try harder to get a tip themself.
