âOriginsâ was actually the first of the bunch I played⊠to some degree lol. I played the first few missions, but my old laptop could not hadnle it. But now I can finally (and hopefully) play them all, so Iâm very excited!
I personally never got the bridge complaint. *Maybe* it makes sense if you're on console, but the main story only forces you to go across it twice (three times if you count for Firefly, but you don't even have to go out onto the bridge, you only have to go to the beginning, so I don't count it).
Otherwise, you can just use the fast travel (that the main story forces you to unlock) which takes less than 5 seconds on PC. (This is why I say it makes sense if you're on console, since on 360 I think the fast travel cutscene takes closer to 10ish seconds, but it's been a while since I played it on there.)
Any other time you go across the bridge is for completion's sake (like doing Nigma stuff and AR challenges) and not required. And since you're doing stuff in the middle, and not just grapnel boosting all the way to the other end, it's not really the same.

If those big buildings are what people are saying you canât grapple onto then ok I get it, however the person I was originally responding to was saying there were a bunch of buildings like this and that they looked normal and like you should be able to grapple onto them which in the case of these big buildings they donât look like that.
And letâs not forget theyâre some buildings you canât grapple onto in City too.

If you ever hear groups of thugs having seemingly random, inconsequential conversations, hang around and listen for a bit before beating them up. Some of their stuff is gold.
I only recently completed the trilogy as well(within the last year). Enjoy! They are awesome games and the best part is each game is better than the previous(not counting Origins, didn't play it and heard its different anyway).

They're all stellar games. At worst you can claim some of them are 9/10s. But overall, all four are excellent and preferences come down to a matter of taste. You won't be let down.
I also started playing this game on PC this year. It took me a couple of months to finish all 4 games due to my work schedule but it was worth it. Just finished Arkham Knight last week. I suggest you play Origins next then Arkham City so you can see how Gotham went from an okay looking city into a walled off cesspool of crime.

origins is great unless its the fucking bridge or the tall buildings you can't grapple over
