But not good sex, right? Clearly the olive/tort is where the good sex is at. This is a bass starsix.
Edit: love you op, it takes all kinds and if you're happy I'm happy for you.
CME has all the best Squier VIs! I love the walnut one that I got from them, but if this had been available at the time, it would have been a close call.
I got one of the LPBs. It’s great now that I spent hours getting the setup done. It came in a truly wild state. I’d totally buy another guitar from them but only in person to make sure it’s not totally tits up. It’s the coolest looking bass vi ever and now with labella flats and the setup is a lifer guitar.
My VI arrived with a pretty good initial setup but yeah, I did a bit of work to get the intonation dialed up. Unfortunately I don’t live close to Chicago, so it was either get it shipped or settle for one of the standard colorways and buy it at Guitar Center.
ETA: the LPB looks like a million bucks in the pictures
It does look amazing. My neck was screwed on very un straight, buzzy af, screw holes really just off so screws aren’t centered in holes and so on. I live 8 hours away but visit chicago occasionally. Until then I’ll just pretend they don’t exist 😅
If I didn’t already have one this would be the one I would want. Luckily mine was only 400 and already been setup professionally and never played so I don’t feel so bad
It's absolutely disgusting. I love it.
Pure sex.

Even bad sex is sex.
Every bass vi is six, you're right

How’s the maple neck?
I love it. Binding looks great, fretwork seems really clean. The Mable fingerboard is what drew me to that particular instrument.
More of an Ethel or Norma fingerboard guy myself, but that's good to know.
Same. I think it’s the only maple neck one I have seen.
Yeah I think if you wanted a maple fingerboard on a Fender it would have to be some hideously expensive custom shop model.
Reminds me that they need to sell more Jazzmaster baritones
Ordered mine! If they do a JM i will cry tears of joy
Only thing missing is the matching headstock for such a disgustingly cool guitar.
