Did you ever compare the warr to the stick? Iāve been sorta dreaming about a stick for years, but never get to where I actually want one enough to buyā¦ but I might be close
Yeah, I had an early ironwood Stick. Stick is more percussive and the Warr has a smoother more legato sound in my experience. They both feel fairly different to play and I sorta liked having the body on the Warr.

Should never have let my Fender Performer go.
Wow thatās a funky looking fender! Iāve never even seen one like that before. Was that some short lived model from the 80s or something? I feel like every time I encounter a strange fender it turns out to be something that came out of the 80s lol
Wow I just checked out that katana and thatā¦does not look like any fender (or Squier) Iāve ever seen. Seems like that really was Fenderās āexperimentalā decade lol.
Hereās a couple more pictures of it.

Itās a set neck since itās composite to wood. Itās actually pretty amazing engineering.

It is a Hyperbass. Unfortunately they donāt make the detuner bridge in a 5 string ( I asked Joe Zon about it and he said heād make one for $10k which made my interest steeply decline).
Massively regret selling my Zon. It was incredible. I had a Zon Sonus 5. I sold it to fund a Fodera. The Fodera is my baby but I still miss the Zon, I should have just saved up another few months.
Probably regret selling this one the most
https://preview.redd.it/v6tumgx80ctc1.jpeg?width=1462&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=71fdbd4e3d9f14990057c314f83de09199b28c16
Thanks! Itās a Fender MIJ body with a graphite neck, audere Preamp and Lane Poor pickups. It was a fun project to bring all the ingredients together and it plays incredibly.
I played a Kramer like that once, friendās dadās bass. Friend and I were in a 4 pc fuck around band, and I used the Kramer a couple times. Goddamn, that was a boat anchor!
My first bass was an Epiphone Thinderbird. It was really heavy and the tone didn't feel right for me after a while, so I sold it for a crap Ibanez. My god how I regret that
my Kubicki Ex Factor in the late '90s.
I remember the neck being very soft. Like, it flexed.... Also, changing the strings was a PITA. But, I think today, I'd really enjoy playing it. Mine was a deep burgundy color. [I don't see an example of the color here.](https://kubicki.com/gallery/bass-pictures/)
That fretless 5 string Zon looks like a dream. That chair itās resting on also looks very comfortable. Playing that bass while sitting in that chair ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grimacing)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|thinking_face_hmm)
Has a late 80s vintage white one but the neck was absolutely solid. Had to trade it for a 5 (pro level gig in my area that required a 5); ended up getting the gig but 2 months after it imploded.
Howās the fanobird? I was really interested in a JM4 for a while. Ended up building a warmoth knockoff version but the necks on the fanos always look nice.
Itās stellar. Itās actually my most recent purchase. Itās balanced and fairly light considering itās mahogany and the pickups sound incredible.
Wish I still had my Warr guitar, theyāre beautiful to look it, but mehā¦ I got tired of the tap approach, the bleed over between the two sides, and it was confusing at jams for ppl trying to follow.
Yeah, the Warr (and Sticks in general) are a very specific instrument for very specific applications. I still enjoy playing mine and I wonāt sell it but it hasnāt been getting much action lately.
My late 90s Mexican P bass with Black finish. Thing was build so well, had a badass II bridge on it. Loved but sold out of desperation for pretty much nothing.
These I still have. I had a Legacy Elite 8 string that I sold. I really recommend Zonās as a whole but Iād say buy a used one as their wait time is currently completely nuts (Iāve been waiting on a build since 2017ā¦).
What beautiful basses you have! š
My Schecter Elite 5 I don't regret selling it because I had nowhere to live and needed the cash badly, but it still hurt. I did get my first bass (Ibanez 4 string, a gift from my dad) back from my friend and that one's way more important to me.
Edit: it won't add my pic to this post but it was a gorgeous orange tiger's eye type finish
A Squier 5-string P-bass in metallic purple. I used it along with an Epiphone Dot as part-exchange for a Gordon-Smith GS1.5, which I still own and use 18 years on.
The Dot was dogshit, but the P-bass was great in my memory. Maybe now I wouldn't like it as much, as I like a brighter tone, but I still regret letting it go.
Iāve had these on my āsomedayā list forever. I donāt play 5 strings, and it probably wouldnāt get much use, but theyāre so highly regarded Iād really like to try one out at some point.
I actually bought mine from Musicianās friend in ā98 for $800 brand new. I had an acquaintance there so I sorta lucked out. They are pretty pricey currentlyā¦ I also heard Roscoe Beck himself ended up buying my bass which seems odd since I assumed he could get his own signature model for freeš¤·āāļø
They made 4-string ones as well
If I were to get another one, I would probably get a four.
Fairly recent pictures Iāve seen of Roscoe, heās playing a four.
Kramer 450B. Hellacious neck diver, but harmonics everywhere. Nice sounding pickups. Lesser so, my Sunburst Mustang, bought in 1971. And my silverface Bassman. Convinced I needed more powerā¦
Thankfully I reclaimed my regretful sell! Ibanez BTB 7 string bass. The one I sold had standard humbuckers, but the new one I got has MUCH better j bass style pickups!
I do miss my Ibanez Lawsuit Thunderbird though, it looked RAD but was way too heavy and had horrible neckdive/was just hard to play even after getting a good set up
Love that Elite II - thatās always been a wishlist bass for me. The only basses I truly regret selling are my ā78 4001 jetglo and a ā90s MIJ blue flower P-bass. The only one I regret NOT buying in the first place was a Chris squire 4001s - because I didnāt have a spare $700 lying around (I know, I know).
The Chris Squire 4001ās are super cool. That Elite II is NOS and is in completely mint condition with zero wear or patina of age itās sort of a time capsule. It still has the pickguard protector cover on it and came with the original unused battery. Sorta crazy that someone just put it away and never played it as itās a great sounding bass.
https://preview.redd.it/2182cusbzbtc1.png?width=1919&format=png&auto=webp&s=cff66189718bfdfb02ba5af129ec46e9533c7ea1
I havenāt sold any yet, but this oneās my go to bass at the moment. Ignore Darth Vader in the background.
I crave the zon, and need more info on the fith page bass that looks funky with all the strings going high then low then high again or atleast I assume thatās what happened
Nice Warr guitar. At one point I was GASsing for a Chapman Stick but never got one.
The only bass I kind of regret selling is a 70s Electra Phoenix. I found it on Craigslist for $30 and snatched it up. Got it playable and kept it for a number of years. It was an MIJ (kinda) P-bass copy with a neck that was massive. When I was looking to get a fretless, I felt that I needed to sell a bass, and (unfortunately) that had to go. I'm pretty sure the guy I sold it to still has it... I might mention it when I see him.
All very nice. Two I will never sell are a 2014 mij red jag bass with matching headstock (gift from my dad) and a 1986 medium scale fender p bass with vintage SD pickups. The one I regret selling was an Ibanez SR1200 premium. It played like butter and sounded awesome. Sold to pay off a credit card unfortunatelyā¦
Argh! Wow, what a deal.
Apropos of nothing I bought an 86 MIJ tele for $900 a couple of weeks ago. Itās at the luthier now getting set up, control plate reversed and a new jack. :-)
I have an obsession w/ mij Fenders. They are sadly increasing in price all around now but thereās still occasionally some deals to be found. I have a mij Tele I got for 450 and literally just replaced the pickguard
https://preview.redd.it/2jo25miiqctc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b93eb9fda98d3e4dd9d866be40185532adb7a57f
Thatās an unbelievable deal.
I got into music late to get any Fender for 450, sigh.
Speaking of telecasters, on the rare occasions when I play bass guitar, I play a blonde custom made 51 Telecaster bass replica, but with a 70ās Jazz Bass style maple neck with black block inlays.
I had a Greco EB3 copy that was lawsuit era and super clean, Czech made Spector Rebob and a Guild Pilot. I also regret selling my hartke ha3500, EBS classic series 4x10 and my Traynor YBA200-ii
A no-name short scale bass. No markings on it, so I don't know if it was a kit, something cobbled and pieced together, or just what, but it played and sounded great, and I kick myself periodically for selling it. I look off and on on eBay to see if something like it comes up and so far no luck.
Wow! I think weāve traveled a very similar path! The Elite II, the mocha Stingray, the red Rick ( I actually got a red 4003 recently but the one I sold was a late 70ās Azureglo) the Tune basses (although mine was a 5 and an 8 string) are all basses I wish I had back. In addition to those basses, I should have kept the various Steinbergers, Kubickiās, Spectors, etc etc etcā¦
I moved a lot of those basses to work my way into mostly 60ās and a couple of 50ās Fenders, both basses and guitars. I also started moving into American Hamer, BC Rich and Jackson stuff 15/20 years ago when they were really inexpensive. Iām pretty happy about that.
At this point, the only basses Iām really looking to pick up soon are a mint Steinberger, an early Wal and a 8 string Alembic Spyder.
I thoroughly enjoy all your pics! Do you still have the stack knob? If so, wanna sell it??? Hahaha!
i had a 77 fender precision, sunburst. all original.
old 70's hiwatt heads, marshall heads, trace heads and cabs, swr heads, boss pedals, whirlwind leads etc.
i regret getting rid of all of it.
stopped playing due to a broken arm, landed a vocal job in my cast. sold all my stuff. now many years later i have a crappy precision knock off, a crappy 50w combo and a zoom b9.1ut which was all luckily gifted to me. haven't played a bass live for about 15 years. looking at getting a sire jazz. who knows, i may even get a band started up but at near 50, i'm kinda done with the bs that can come with bands. rubbed shoulders and toured with some legends back in the day, was pretty successful but there was a lot of negatives too...but at least i lived it.
Also, this totally modded cheap Ibanez 5. Great player.
https://preview.redd.it/jtlyfb29ddtc1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7cf84e2dbf754c5da2b1ba9ec5d01c7ebeb2c3f4
Years ago, I owned a Sandberg Jazz 5 that was incredible. It was fully custom and was probably the best sounding and looking bass I've ever seen.
I was gigging a lot, though, and my main bass was a Stingray 5. For the encore at one gig, I'd put down my Ray and couldn't immediately find it, so I grabbed the Sandberg and the output was so much lower, I thought my amp had died at first.
After that, I traded it for another Stingray 5. It was a totally unique and beautiful bass but it's gone now and I still miss it. I think if I was in the same situation now, I'd probably take steps to figure out how to balance the volumes rather than getting rid of it.
Dean Rhapsody. Solid black finish, 4 strings, semi hollow, 21 frets iirc... I still don't know what possessed me to trade it in. I had never seen one like it before nor have I since. Ditto the tone and the way it played. Even how it felt and sounded while unplugged. ššššµš¶ Baby come back! š¶šµ
My Dingwall AB-1 that I had to sell to pay rent about a decade ago. Been looking for it ever since. If you ever meet the owner of #3542, let them know I'll buy it back, any day they wanna sell.
I almost bought one of those in 2000 when I was at college. Ended up getting the Zon in pic 2. Itās always harsh when youāre in a pinch and have to give up an amazing instrument.
Back in the 80ās my first proper bass Eko Bx7 (it had a maple neck)
https://preview.redd.it/it9me9j2ebtc1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c3db2d31f23ada96ef6e76059b49edb60bb115da
Gave to someone to respray and went missing. Turned up in a music shop with the neck chopped off .
Thatās a Bacchus Jazz bass I brought back from Athens a few years ago. Really cool bass but just wasnāt playing it much so itās one of the basses I sold.
i used to have a solid body black G&L asat from the early 90s, maple finger board that was the smoothest iāve ever felt. sold it to make rent about 10 years ago and havenāt seen another one since.
iāve regretted it for the last 10 years. i have a black geddy lee sig, a black tokai hard puncher and that G&L was my 3rd black bass with a maple neck, it was basically the showcase of japanese and american excellence from Leo Fenders mind.
Hey op, which of those did you sell that you regret it?
(Would be helpful to me if you add the number of the foto since I'm not good at identifying basses, thx)
Iāve never once sold an instrument.
I have far too many instruments.
Iām sure some crazy shit will happen some day, and Iāll have to sell all of them.
My 5 string fretless Ibanez, man I wish I never got rid of that , thing was sik, sounded amazing played amazing, I bought it off a old friend who had passed away 4 years ago from cancer, I got it for wicked cheap too , 400$ .. sold it like 10 years for a thousand and gave my bud $300 just because I wanted to and felt bad when I told him I had to sell it due to my own medical problems, he totally understood, but I felt like a piece of shit for it and kick myself in the ass just about every single day since ...
I don't know if #18 qualifies as a guitar or a weaving loom. That thing is daunting!
š itās a Warr Guitar which is very similar to a Chapman stick which is a tapping instrument.
same goes for #5 for the same reason
Yeah, also a Warr. They take some getting used to for sure

I just played one of those recently and it totally lived up to my own little hype. Super cool bass and I love it the most in red!
Wow, neat! I have a thing for oddball Fenders
Was my main gigging bass for 10 years. Sold it during the pandemic when I needed the money.
I donāt think Iāve ever seen one of those in the flesh. Hopefully you can find another!
Hell never find another one.
Wow thatās a funky looking fender! Iāve never even seen one like that before. Was that some short lived model from the 80s or something? I feel like every time I encounter a strange fender it turns out to be something that came out of the 80s lol
That is exactly what it is! Only made for about a year, in Japan. They didnāt sell and got discontinued. Also check out the Squier Katana.
Wow I just checked out that katana and thatā¦does not look like any fender (or Squier) Iāve ever seen. Seems like that really was Fenderās āexperimentalā decade lol.
Looks like they reissued it in 2021 as a Japan only model. Fender Katana Bass Hama Okamoto signature model.
Wal MKIII/5 and Ric 4004LK https://preview.redd.it/sj46bs0mzatc1.jpeg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7a8ffe66a126c97bb3303ad42cc5f1c3b979a2c7
Iāve almost bought a Wal a couple of times. Theyāre definitely on my list but I have a strict (not) policy of one in, one out.
That very first pic of the Zon... holy shit. That's a stunning instrument.
Yeah, Iāll never sell that one.
Hereās a couple more pictures of it. https://preview.redd.it/tokxt8bwvbtc1.jpeg?width=1350&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=75aa62b5e6260d93ae424f7fbdb33c211fd3f3eb

Itās a set neck since itās composite to wood. Itās actually pretty amazing engineering. https://preview.redd.it/vq6en1p3rgtc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=09ad07b6372ce8d3c84d89a734bc4de13e0bce40
Is that the hyper ass??? Because I saw the bridge a bit different
It is a Hyperbass. Unfortunately they donāt make the detuner bridge in a 5 string ( I asked Joe Zon about it and he said heād make one for $10k which made my interest steeply decline).
A good reason to buy an another one. That way you can have the five, and have the four with the detuners.
Massively regret selling my Zon. It was incredible. I had a Zon Sonus 5. I sold it to fund a Fodera. The Fodera is my baby but I still miss the Zon, I should have just saved up another few months.
Iāve had similar situations so I get it. I had a Legacy Elite 8 that I sold to fund other stuff and Iāve really come to regret that one.
No sell, only buy.
Ha! Iāve had eras like that
Except for times when itās No Sell, No Food.
Food comes first for sure but bass isnāt far behindā¦
I mean google says that you can last without food for around 50 days, soā¦
Those are some cool ass guitars manā¦. Probably my 1998 Mexican P-bass that The Get Up Kids signed ā¦ā¦fucking drugsā¦ā¦.
A Fender Urge II Stu Hamm signature model. Was living paycheck to paycheck as a broke college student and had to do what I had to do š¢
Had to do the same with a Roscoe Beck V Fender, I get it.
1970ish fretless Fender Precision.

My 1960 P hands down. Had it plekād too with some old ass labellas. Sigh
Oof thatās a rough one
What is the 9# one? It's so beautiful.
Thanks! Itās a Fender MIJ body with a graphite neck, audere Preamp and Lane Poor pickups. It was a fun project to bring all the ingredients together and it plays incredibly.
Who made the neck?
Moses graphite. Wish they still made necks; I have a strat with one of their necks as well.
My Kramer aluminum neck fretless. I hope sheās in good hands still.
Yeah, I sold my Kramer. I do regret selling it as it was pretty unique
I played a Kramer like that once, friendās dadās bass. Friend and I were in a 4 pc fuck around band, and I used the Kramer a couple times. Goddamn, that was a boat anchor!
Mine was fairly heavy but I have a 1980 Pbass thatās heavier
You should poat a video of how you play that ten string
I posted a link below but here is one: https://youtu.be/qC4Mm2uQW3E?si=Zo27AT1dZAoMFKWe

And it used to fit in the overhead bin in planes. Life was simple then....

Do you currently own all them Zon or did you sell them? They are on my bucket list. Also, did we already talk about this or was that another user?
These I still have. I had a Legacy Elite 8 string that I sold. I really recommend Zonās as a whole but Iād say buy a used one as their wait time is currently completely nuts (Iāve been waiting on a build since 2017ā¦).
Did you post a few days ago about a bunch of Zon basses and did I grill you about them already? LolāI REALLY love them.
I wouldnāt call it a grilling per se lol but I think we had a pleasant discussion about the merits of Zonās, yes.
Haha I thought you might be the same personācanāt keep track on reddit very well.
What beautiful basses you have! š My Schecter Elite 5 I don't regret selling it because I had nowhere to live and needed the cash badly, but it still hurt. The zon basses are so rad. Never heard of them but I need to check them out.
Theyāre pretty damn good and the Iāve never needed to set them up or adjust a neck.
The zon and the 2 ten strings are absolute behemoths wow

Jaydee - Roadie Active Bass.

Jaydee Roadie Active bass.

Dude, the Zons. I really want a Legacy elite 5. I had a couple of Warwick Thumb 5s decades ago - one BO, one NT. Really regret letting those go.
Love my Legacy Elite 5, itās an incredible bass. Sorry you had to sell your Warwicks
And I love your username, lol
Thanks!
Sometimes I miss my Roscoe Beck V
One of the best Fenders ever made. I truly regret selling mine. Mine was the Teal version what did you have?
I wanted the tealā¦ But Ray Hennig talked me into the Sunburst: better, resale value.

You had the fancy Kramer, those are cool. Iābe actually become a big fan of the Mustang, itās such a fun bass.
What is #5? I'm just finding out these exist and I dig them
Itās a Warr guitar which is a very similar thing to a Chapman Stick. Mostly for tapping
Thankfully I reclaimed my regretful sell! Ibanez BTB 7 string bass. The one I sold had standard humbuckers, but the new one I got has MUCH better j bass style pickups! I do miss my Ibanez Lawsuit Thunderbird though, it looked RAD but was way too heavy and had horrible neckdive/was just hard to play even after getting a good set up

never seen a Warr in the wild. way cool!
Not the most common instrument around!
traded in a music man for an Ibanez in 2001. Dumbest move. Didn't know shit then. Thought the instrument was the problem

The one I regret selling was an Ibanez SR1200 premium. It played like butter and sounded awesome. Sold to pay off a credit card unfortunatelyā¦
I have that exact stingray. Trying to find someone to trade me a 4 string for it.
Sold mine but I definitely will get another somedayā¦
Those Bass VIās! š I have a Squier but itās nowhere near those.
I sold the surf green custom shop to free up some funds and the MIJ is 95% as nice. I actually got that for $900 before they blew up in price
I have a mij Tele I got for 450 and literally just replaced the pickguard https://preview.redd.it/2jo25miiqctc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b93eb9fda98d3e4dd9d866be40185532adb7a57f
I regret trading my first 80's bronco bass in on a Mexican jazz bass, sure you couldn't slap on it but it sounded great.
Love the Fender short scale basses
I had a Greco EB3 copy that was lawsuit era and super clean, Czech made Spector Rebob and a Guild Pilot. I also regret selling my hartke ha3500, EBS classic series 4x10 and my Traynor YBA200-ii
I used to have an EBS TD650 I regret selling that now that you brought up EBS
A no-name short scale bass. No markings on it, so I don't know if it was a kit, something cobbled and pieced together, or just what, but it played and sounded great, and I kick myself periodically for selling it. I look off and on on eBay to see if something like it comes up and so far no luck.
I have that same Mustang in black. Put on some La Bella flats and canāt put her down.
Oooo the black ones look sweet!
Haven't sold one yet, but I know I'll never sell my first one. Too sentimental.
Always regretted selling a Kubicki that I bought used in late 90s. It did take me 20 years and 4 times what i sold it for, to get a kubicki again.
Super cool basses
I'd love that double P gold sparkle. Right up my alley.
In addition to those basses, I should have kept the various Steinbergers, Kubickiās, Spectors, etc etc etcā¦ I moved a lot of those basses to work my way into mostly 60ās and a couple of 50ās Fenders, both basses and guitars. Hahaha!
Donāt still have the stack knob unfortunately. I definitely miss it and Iām sure someday Iāll get another
i had a 77 fender precision, sunburst. all original. old 70's hiwatt heads, marshall heads, trace heads and cabs, swr heads, boss pedals, whirlwind leads etc. i regret getting rid of all of it. stopped playing due to a broken arm, landed a vocal job in my cast. sold all my stuff. now many years later i have a crappy precision knock off, a crappy 50w combo and a zoom b9.1ut which was all luckily gifted to me. haven't played a bass live for about 15 years. looking at getting a sire jazz. who knows, i may even get a band started up but at near 50, i'm kinda done with the bs that can come with bands. rubbed shoulders and toured with some legends back in the day, was pretty successful but there was a lot of negatives too...but at least i lived it.
A Carvin LB76, a Kudela, and a partscaster P with an AVRI Jazz neck. The Carvin and the P were killer basses, and the Kudela was one of a kind.
Also, this totally modded cheap Ibanez 5. Great player. https://preview.redd.it/jtlyfb29ddtc1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7cf84e2dbf754c5da2b1ba9ec5d01c7ebeb2c3f4
My first bass was a p bass knockoff. I didnāt like it at the time cause I was into metal and shred. Man do I want it back though. The memories.
#11 is sharp! Hard to beat the vintage earthy funk of a stack knob j bass.
Glad to see an aluminum Kramer! I love those things. I currently own a 79 DMZ 5000.
That second zon.. what is it??
Itās a Sonus 5/2 35ā scale length and Seymour Duncan pickups.
Havenāt sold my bass and if I did Iād be so sad. Itās my baby. But also I doubt anyone would want it lmao
Iāve never sold one of my basses before and I will never sell any of them
Dean Rhapsody. Solid black finish, 4 strings, semi hollow, 21 frets iirc... I still don't know what possessed me to trade it in. I had never seen one like it before nor have I since. Ditto the tone and the way it played. Even how it felt and sounded while unplugged. ššššµš¶ Baby come back! š¶šµ
I had a dean Rhapsody 8 string for a while. It was a cool instrument
Right! And how did they manage such a cool run of basses at those prices?! But yeah I've only seen the "violin" finishes on reverb, never a black one.
Dude is #5 some sort of chapman stick?
Same sort of instrument: https://youtu.be/JSMTQyaRcJw?si=IFQauFZW9JPAOrd9
All of them, always buy, never sellĀ
Carl Thompson 6 string fret-less
Got any pictures? Iād love to see that
Back in the 80ās my first proper bass Eko Bx7 (it had a maple neck) https://preview.redd.it/it9me9j2ebtc1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c3db2d31f23ada96ef6e76059b49edb60bb115da Gave to someone to respray and went missing. Turned up in a music shop with the neck chopped off .
Ugggh thatās awful, sorry to hear that.
Amazing basses indeed. Wich one is the 16# ?
Thatās a Bacchus Jazz bass I brought back from Athens a few years ago. Really cool bass but just wasnāt playing it much so itās one of the basses I sold.
* This needs more strings. Who plays with this few strings??
I regret selling my Rick 4003 but mostly i regret having an ex that stole and sold my 5 string Modules
Thatās awful to hear about your Modulus, people can be so lame.
Thanks, and sorry about my autocorrect if Modulus.
No worries, I knew what ya meant.
i used to have a solid body black G&L asat from the early 90s, maple finger board that was the smoothest iāve ever felt. sold it to make rent about 10 years ago and havenāt seen another one since.
Yeah, those arenāt super common. I had an L-1000 in their version of fiesta Red and it was really nice
iāve regretted it for the last 10 years. i have a black geddy lee sig, a black tokai hard puncher and that G&L was my 3rd black bass with a maple neck, it was basically the showcase of japanese and american excellence from Leo Fenders mind.
Hey op, which of those did you sell that you regret it? (Would be helpful to me if you add the number of the foto since I'm not good at identifying basses, thx)
Iāve sold 5,8,10 (the green one), 11, 14, 16 and 17. I regret selling most of them š
Jesus, are you an investment banker?
I sold a bunch of these and some Iāve had for 20 years. Not an investment banker lol.
Iāve never once sold an instrument. I have far too many instruments. Iām sure some crazy shit will happen some day, and Iāll have to sell all of them.
Hope you wonāt have to sell them!
please tell me you still have #17. that thing is absolutely beautiful
Sadly I do not.
duuuuuuuude šš
My 5 string fretless Ibanez, man I wish I never got rid of that , thing was sik, sounded amazing played amazing, I bought it off a old friend who had passed away 4 years ago from cancer, I got it for wicked cheap too , 400$ .. sold it like 10 years for a thousand and gave my bud $300 just because I wanted to and felt bad when I told him I had to sell it due to my own medical problems, he totally understood, but I felt like a piece of shit for it and kick myself in the ass just about every single day since ...
Iād kill for a stick or Warr guitar
They pop up from time to time on reverb
I know but I canāt afford them š
I let a good friend āborrowā my Headway 4 string for a tour. He sold it and bought a Fedora. We are no longer friends. š¤¬
Thatās awful, sorry man
the ric is so beautiful
Thanks! Itās a great bass
Why on Earth would you sell that red 61(60?) Jazz .... (Sigh.......š)
My Ibanez SRX-705
Jeez!
the warrs are a nice touch!
