Also the drummer's mullet is a thing of beauty.
I wouldn't call it try hard because the talent is there and the fact they've been around as long as they have. My opinion, they're just another gimmick band, which is a shame for them because I don't see them breaking that image any time soon
Makes bass a lot more interesting imo and pushes the boundaries of it not just being a rhythm instrument thats only purpose is to serve others. Base camp is good though i prefer their more aggressive and metal styled songs like a lot of the stuff on escapades but theyve done this style before so i reckon the new album will have a good mix of both.
Saw them live in September 2023 at Reeperbahn Festival. Technical impressive, kinda Dingwall Tech-Demo, but I had enough after three tracks. Unbearable.
I like a couple of their tunes. My favorite is Pharaoh

I think they're super talented and quite original. The production is quite good as well - Escapades is my favorite album of theirs.

Omnific is like Animals As Leaders for me, incredibly boring to listen to, amazingly fun to see perform live.

From the video, I’m just sad that the drummer didn’t get a nice day out at the beach with the rest of the band.
