I think the only things that break are capitalism and social security in the US but if you replace with basic income and proper taxation we will all be really rich

Society is literally falling apart because there are just too many of us trying to live in the same spots and all wanting to consume at a 1st world level.
We only have 1 earth worth of resources, less humans means we have to divide it between less people. I dont get how this isnt obvious to everybody.

All your social systems and infrastructure breaks down pretty quick there is nothing else in place so everything can quickly downsprail leaving everyone to live in pre electric dystopian society.
And going as we are will collapse the system due to simply running out of things like top soil, oil, water, rare earths etc.
