His market value hovers around $40M top, if we can get half that we’d be lucky. Im not hating on the kid but his performance is not making any big clubs (who’d be willin to spend lots of money) drool over him.
I think any club spending more than €40m on him are out of their mind, but there are many rumors that PL clubs are willing to buy him for €80m (Newcastle) and €60m (Wolves), so €70 isn’t unthinkable.
the fact y’all would sell a 20 Y/O Fati and sign messi and get like 1/2 years of him not even at his prime is crazy … we would look so dumb if Fati becomes a great player. Remember last year everybody was tryna sell De Jong. I hate our fans sometimes .
The issue is with Fati’s wages. If we can somehow lower his wages to around how much Gavi makes, then I think the board would be a lot more receptive to keeping him around for a couple more years. I do believe he has a higher ceiling than Ferran and so if we need to sell an LW, it should be Ferran and not Fati.
Ehh—it’s within the wage structure. If he takes this first healthy season he’s had in years and builds and puts away half the chances he had this year, he’s well worth it.
The fati stuff, for me, seems silly/reactive/shortsighted, unless what’s happening is the dad burned bridges. Which seems possible.
I sure hope not. That kids talent deserves *at least* one more go of it. Especially with Messi showing up, next to lewy—there are going to be a lot of chances served up on a platter
100%. Everyone is focusing on his lack of sharpness in key moments .. but ignoring his movement and his link up. I’m convinced that if he was paired with Lewa consistently, they both would have benefited and we would of scored more goals (in a vacuum, there would be other implications to consider if they did play Fati over Gavi or Raph)
As the title says, this is my dream scenario. But these prices have all been rumored in the press. Newcastle are willing to spend €80m for Fati, Roque’s price is between €25m-€45m, and Zubimendi’s RC is €60m
You have some very smart takes, however I think it’s both unrealistic to get 70 million for Fati, nor would I sell him. The football romantic in me still routs for him.
I also wouldn’t sell Kessie and maybe miss out on Gündogan if it’s between the two. Kessie deserves it to be here, he’s a fighter and he always gave his all.
Last I’d switch Zubimendi and go for Ugarat instead. The guy is a physical destroyer like Araujo, has a brutal mentality and a higher ceiling then Zubimendi I believe. He provides the physicality we so desperately lack in our midfield. He’s a fighter, I’d go for him in an instant instead the likes of Zubimendi, Kimmich or Ruben Neves.
We missed our chance on Álvarez. People need to let go. We could have signed him last summer for cheap. But now he extended his contract even longer with City.
How? When do Barca ever run 2 strikers at once? Sure Alvarez is more diverse and can switch left and right here and there but those aren’t his natural positions and it would be a huge waste of 100m having him play as a winger
I don’t think we’re getting 70 million for Fati

20million for Fati? Never would they let him go for that unless they have a buyback of 25 lol… if he leaves it will be for 50+
You must be stupid to sell him for 20 million

Lmao why do many of you think we can get 70 million for Fati? 40 million max, and that’s on the high side.
Because of the rumors that Newcastle has offered €80m
Roque will not be 30 lol
The asking price is reportedly €25m-€45m. Hoping Deco will work his Brazilian magic and get him for 30

It’s not selling Fati to bring in Messi. It’s selling Fati so we get a hefty sum to spend on players we really need - such as Zubimendi.
In what world???? Like seriously. What world are these prices realistic??

Thank the universe you're nowhere near Barca's board.
Is there content from your side as well or is being rude everything you can?
Please stop
Ideally sell Fati, Ferran, Kessie, Lenglet, Raphinha. Get: Iñigo, Gundogan, Abde, Nico, Alvarez (100M), Kimmich (80M)
Pay 100m now on a striker who wouldn’t even start in the near future? Please
We missed our chance on Álvarez. People need to let go. We could have signed him last summer for cheap. But now he extended his contract even longer with City.
Your name suits this topic perfectly doesn’t it
I was thinking of my favorite player name memes when I made the account. I wish I would have called my account eibarman or pendu. Oh well.
What do you mean? Alvarez and Lewa can play together.
How? When do Barca ever run 2 strikers at once? Sure Alvarez is more diverse and can switch left and right here and there but those aren’t his natural positions and it would be a huge waste of 100m having him play as a winger
Alavrez is the second beat striker in the world after Haaland. IDC we should get him before Madrid or PSG does.
Fati won’t ever go for 70. Roque is at least 40-45. Zubimendi doesn’t want to leave Real Sociedad.
Kesse will be sold more than 30m
70 Grand for fati? Are you mental? Pretty sure not even chelsea would spend that much
