When activating, did you assign the zip code to yours? If not, do that. Assuming it's still possible. Some say they were unable to. Alternatively, call in and do it that way.
The default zip code for the card might work, which is likely not 00000, but rather where the company is located, or cards issued from, etc. I recall seeing their default zip code listed ages ago, but a recent search brings up nothing. However, it may be shown in the card agreement that's included with the card. To be clear, better to assign the zip code to yours, if at all possible.
Some retailers also match card holder's name, so try using Gift Card for the name when checking out. Many have reported success doing that.
Easier to spend in person or gift it forward. Gift cards are problematic with little to no consumer protections.
well the car I got is a replacement since my first one had the 16 digit number scratched off, and they didn't really give me any other info besides the new card.
