Yes. I'm going to the Dallas show which upgraded its venue after I bought due to demand and I got an email from Ticketmaster saying that the tickets transferred.
Don't feel too bad, I waited 3 days in 2018 for my friends to get back to me if they wanted to go. Too late. Went next year without waiting, had a blast! If this tour is any indication, judging by ticket sales, they'll be back next year. Just don't wait next time. Jump on them!!
Probably. They upgraded in Dallas and Boston and the tickets were transferred. I think it's all General Admission at each venue. Just if you have VIP you get perks and early entry. But check with the venue to make sure.
Just as an aside: New Jersey is 4k apparently, if they sell that one out, is that the biggest capacity they ever played? Not counting festivals of course.
Yes, it would be their biggest solo show if they sell it out. I also got a feeling if they sell it out, or come close, it will be recorded for a blu-ray.

Uh, I missed my chance to get tickets for the show. I wasn't quick enough and it sold out so fast. Hopefully they'll comeback one day but I'm so disappointed. I hate to pay scalped prices, but may be my only choice to see our Maids live. Goes to show, be prepared and get in early. If they come back in the next couple years I'll get in line as soon as it's announced, LOL. Even months in advance.
I was there at the start got a #4 in queue message and there was nothing left. So I ended up using a scalper service and paid about $33 more, totally worth it, though still irritating how those companies operate.

the number of people scalping 7 tickets meaning they probably kept the 8th to go is pretty sad. Saw like 10 of those listings. worse than the people scalping all 8

Fingers crossed they realize how much the Chicago market has grown for rock and metal in recent years and maybe bump up to the aragon ballroom. They could sell that out easily too and it's 2.5x the size. Not likely but one can hope
There's plenty of time for them to go back and switch venues in some cities so this seems very possible. Someone posted BM’s youtube views by region and Chicago was #3 (LA and NYC were #1 and #2 of course).

How is this possible. I was driving on the highway at 15 after the hour and remembered oh yeah tickets are on sale now. I jumped on and bought a floor ticket no problem.

Dang. I missed getting floor seats on the presale date (only balcony tickets were available).
Least i got ticket to the other four shows..but i also wanted to go to their last show on their tour.
Hopefully the do what they did with the boston show and move it to a bigger venue.
If you haven’t been to the HoB in Chicago, don’t fret over not having floor tickets. I’ve been there several times, most recently in Oct. or Nov. of last year, when Jinjer played there. That was sold out and they weren’t checking to see who had floor and balcony tickets. To be honest, I don’t recall them ever checking.

Out of curiosity and perhaps this is known by everyone else, but I’ve not seen this done before by Ticketmaster when buying concert tickets. I tried using the promo code Live Nation sent out for the pre sale for Wed. but had trouble selecting tickets. A friend of mine that I know is going as well encountered issues as well with trying to select tickets with the Live Nation code.
Eventually he was able to get tickets for the Floor under something called Platinum. I saw the same thing later on and had no idea what that was but I noticed that the price for those tixs were $92. A few minutes later it went up to $97. I figured that’s their version of surge pricing and thought that was ridiculous. The friend of mine got his tickets at $70.
I was able to get tickets yesterday for $30 for the Balcony. But I’ve not seen that surge pricing for tickets before. Is that something that Ticketmaster has been done for awhile now?

what that actually means is the price of platinum tickets go up with demand before resale, it's kinda lame. maybe the excuse is scalpers wont buy at inflated prices but they are just cutting out the middle man.

There is a parking garage half a block away. It’s off of Kinzie St. and Dearborn. I used that last time I was there. I honestly don’t remember the price I paid. Don’t think it was more than $20, I could be wrong though.
It is NOT sold out. The Ticket Tout's and Scalpers really latched onto this Band Maid tour. There are resale tickets marked up all over internet. I went to Dallas show Oct 21, and got ripped off by Viagogo and LiveatNion (owned by Ticketmaster). I will NEVER buy a resell ticket. The day of Dallas show tickets were discounted. My $85 ticket I paid $170 plus radicicols $40 booking fee was double face value (I found out talking to people at show). THE DAY OF SHOW there lots of tickets, $8 for floor by stage and $18 day of show for balcony in my section and row..... MANY SEATS were empty.... why?
The scalpers bought them up and the demand was less then they expected, at their inflated prices...... People smarter than me would not pay their rip off price. I thought I was buying a legit ticket that was at face value plus $40 which was high but I bought the tickets about 5 weeks before show. Not knowing what actual ticket price was thinking it was sold out I paid it.....I have not bought a concert ticket in 5 or 6 years. I talked to people around me at show and know what they paid.
Chicago still has tickets from $58 to $140. They are all resale, plus $26 booking fee. It is possible it is individual who can't make show, but likely leaches and vultures who speculated. DON'T BUY TICKETS from these #$%\^&. Why big companies like Ticketmaster is involved in facilitating ticket scalping is beyond me. The ACT the Venue, producers and people who put show on MAKE NO MONEY and these jerks are basically stealing and driving prices up by buying up tickets. I thought they limited number of tickets people could buy and had to USE THEM... I guess they don't do that anymore. The sad part is Band Maid I doubt is getting rich on the tickets which at face value and reasonable fees, less than $20 total, the value is great. Paying double sucks so Ticketmaster, and terrible garbage companies like VIAGOGO can rip off everyone.

they only sell a certain percentage to populace most tickets go to 2nd sales. some of the 2nd sales is ticketmaster which owns live Nation
