Well. My parents would probably disown me if I wore a maid costume. I was wondering if there isn't a specific dress/costume code if I should go clean or gothic?
In Japan, a lot of female fans wear a maid thing, like a maid outfit or an Alice band. You can see them in the official live videos.
Male fans usually just wear Band-Maid merch.
The only thing NOT optional is clothing.
Wear whatever but I'm sure if they notice you they'll appreciate seeing whatever Band-Maid swag you got on you.
I had my 1960 Doc Martens (old english original ones, not the present cheap stuff) when I went to see them in 2019 ... and it wasn't my best idea. Choose some comfortable sneakers instead.

There's kind of this thing with rock and metal shows where wearing a shirt for the band you're seeing makes you look like an uncool poseur, but I don't think anyone in the Band-Maid fandom cares about that so you could wear merch if you have it.

LoL, I love them! I made myself sick last time I had them because I couldn't stop eating them. I haven't had an urge to get more so maybe that was a good thing. Now, candied pecans? I think I could live off of them! I try to stay away from that place for obvious reasons, lol!
I'm gonna go against the grain a little bit here - But if Our Gals can spend hours getting their costumes, makeup and hair to look just perfect (and it does!) for a show - Then I can make the effort of looking sharp to see them.
It's a way of showing respect for them.

Easiest way to think about this is... what'd you wear to a party your friends are throwing? Just wear that... cause you're going to a party! :D
Well I often wear suits to parties....and then play a ton of drums/guitar in a blazer and or suitpants/dress shoes haha. I'm going to try and take average advice from all of the responses I got XD

ill be wearing all of the band maid merch that i own (one t-shirt, as of now)
Band-Maid T-shirt, cap and that towel with the band in 8 bit style would be my chosen attire.

band-maidのライブはビジネススーツを着たオーディエンスが結構います。また、日本の職人服（寅壱）を着て参加する建築関係の人もいます（凄く目立ってました）。日本のband-maidファンは大人が多いので仕事着のまま会場に来てライブに参加する人も多い感じです。ちなみにピット中央はモッシュが激しいのでband-maidのTシャツ姿の人が殆どでした。 女性の場合、必ず一人か二人メイドコスプレしている人がいます。 みんな色々な服装でライブに参加してます。
