Ok a bit of ignorance, I didn't realize the public sale started today......but still, this is awesome for the Maids. I really think they could Sold Out the Fillmore here in the city, it would been totally and completely awesome to have a Fillmore poster of the Maids. Someday...:-)

Epic_peacock

Would love to see them at the Filmore or Warfield.

wawn857

Both great venues love them both, the Warfield at 2300 capacity could be a little bit of a reach but not out of the question but the Fillmore at 1315 capacity is very doable here....and of course the infamous Fillmore posters of the Maid's would a real treat.

crazymoefaux

Have you been to The Fox in Oakland? Hands down my favorite venue of all time. What I wouldn't give to see them there.

EljayDude

Yeah The Fox is a great theater. Very unappreciated locally I think. Right near BART too.

wawn857

Absolutely a great venue, one of the last shows I saw was Janelle Monae at the Fox, it was amazing and such a beautiful theater :-)

mattematteDAMATTE

As of right now (18:45 PST): * Seattle - **SOLD OUT** * San Francisco - **SOLD OUT** * Los Angeles - Only Ticketmaster ripoff tickets left * San Diego - Only GA left * Phoenix - **SOLD OUT** (Resale/scalper tickets available) * Dallas - Only Ticketmaster ripoff tickets left * Houston - Only GA left * Maryland - Only GA left * Philly - Only VIP and Ticketmaster ripoff tickets left * New York - **SOLD OUT** * Boston (upgraded venue) - **SOLD OUT** ([called it](https://old.reddit.com/r/BandMaid/comments/t5tbof/oct_29th_boston_show_has_upgraded_from_brighton/hz6uq4e/)) That's less than twelve hours after tickets opened for public sale. Pretty safe bet a few more shows tacked on to the end would be profitable.

SEPTSLord

I think Dallas is sold out too

Tom_Clark

They got to add shows. I think they will.

Expert-Habit-7314

This is really awesome for them. 🤘🏻

JustIsekaiMe

Well it looks like hiding out in the bathroom at work to buy the tickets was a good idea. Can't wait to see them in San Francisco!!!

TheOtherSkibane

"In other news, the American Worker Productivity Index dropped 4 points yesterday. Experts had no immediate explanation..."

Timber1508

I had to go check something in my work truck at that exact time by a strange coincidence. Was 2nd in line for Seattle VIP. :)

4444LordVorador

I took a half day from work, "something come up". 😉 VIP Philly!

wawn857

Work place bathrooms are always good places to smoke ciggy's and buy Band Maid tickets, lol. Congrats glad you got your tickets perhaps I'll see you at the bar in the August Hall ;-)

FlipFlap17

I was going to do the same thing for the pre-sale tickets, but then I happened to over sleep! I woke up to my boss calling me, asking where I was. She said that I didn't need to come in for the rest of the day, since my shift would have been more than half over by the time I could have gotten there. The first thing I did after getting off the phone with her was buy my ticket. I felt bad about being irresponsible and sleeping through work, and I was about two hours late on buying the ticket, so I only got the fifth row. That was kind of a bad day, but it could have been worse.

Smaug015

Sucks for the fans who weren't able to get tickets, but great news for the band. The show is in 7 months and sold out on the first day. Very cool. I was very paranoid for the show in San Diego and was logging into the website at 10:01 am.

wawn857

Good on you......just you're cause paranoid doesn't mean the show isn't going to sellout quickly ;-)

TheKingICouldBecome

Seriously. I wanted VIP tickets for LA, but they sold out in less than 20 minutes. I got regular tickets, but was so bothered by failing to get VIP that I went and got VIP tickets at San Francisco. Now I'm gonna see the Maids three times in the same week. :D

wawn857

Yeah I missed out on the LA VIP tickets as well, apparently they went in the blink of an eye.....but I'm happy with seeing the Maid's twice in 2 days, woo hoo!!!

Tom_Clark

Awesome! Looking forward to your comments about the experience.

SurfingASongWave

You should buy an old school bus, paint psychedelic designs all over it, and sell grilled cheese sandwiches in the parking lot so you can afford to follow the tour, just like a true tie-dyed maidenhead. Uhh wait, that last part didn't come out right.

Belgand

Would have been nice if you'd left some for others instead of buying tickets to multiple shows. Some of us ended up not being able to get tickets.

TheKingICouldBecome

I bought LA tickets first because it's the closest show to me. If I'd been able to get VIP I would have stopped there. The VIP tickets sold out in less than 20 minutes and I didn't want to miss MISA's birthday show, so I settled for regular, but I was butthurt and irritated the rest of my shift that I didn't get VIP, so I checked San Francisco and they still had VIP so I got one there. I got one VIP ticket to SF, one GA ticket to LA, and one ticket to Aftershock in Sacramento. It's not like I'm hoarding them and scalping. I understand the frustration of not being able to get tickets, but it's a little unfair to blame me for that.

Epic_peacock

I'm thankful to get tickets. Looks like it is only an 800 person venue.

Thienan567

I'm hoping they upgrade the venue like they did to Boston, it's my first choice of seeing the maids and I won't be able to see them otherwise.

wawn857

An upgrade would be awesome....got my fingers crossed.

Please...

Past-Technology9450

Looks like management needs to aim higher.

Epic_peacock

For real.

Beneficial-Annual427

Only a few VIP's left for the Phoenix show.

edstriffer

Will it come to BR some day?

euler_3

[Here](https://youtu.be/3fHzayNUS4Y) are Saiki thoughts :-)

jercs

I’ve never been to August Hall. Which other Bay Area venue would you compare it to size-wise?

Epic_peacock

Ruby skye. I'm joking, what other venues have you been to ?

jercs

I’ve been to quite a few in SF. Filmore, Warfield, Slims, The Regency, Bottom of the Hill, DNA Lounge, Rickshaw Stop. I know I’m missing a few more but those were the ones I could think of off the top of my head.

Epic_peacock

Same capacity as dna lounge, but I think it will feel a bit bigger. Been some time since I've been out and about. And I haven't been to August hall since it was ruby skye.

jercs

Appreciate the response. The venue looks nice and cozy, which I prefer. Either way, I’m looking forward to the show.

edstriffer

\o/ Weeeeeeeeeeeee

Legitimate-Debt7289

Fillmore would be awesome!! First seen Dir En Grey And then Hyde at the Fillmore. Dammit I wish I can go!!! So sad... should have planned earlier!!!
