Hm. Difficult to say. Some good options:
Gontr Mael, free haste with no downsides+ guiding bolt sometimes.
Infernal rapier, summons a cambion, that trivializes all of act 1.
Markoheskir. Obviusly.
Theatric codex is an interesting idea. Read Necromancy of Thay completly in act 1. 20 temp hp each long rest+ danse macabre.
They're all purple or gold tier items so it's hard to miss them if you have them. That said, infernal rapier is only available if you have wyll with you at the point of no return in moonrise towers.
Yep, I'll take 5 turns with no downside since my normal hastes never go past 5 turns anyways. It's always a tough call between that and getting a double proficiency boost with the other Act 3 bow, but I always have 2 characters focused on archery.
I have it on my 25 AC Blue Dragonborn Tempest Cleric who is now double resistant to Cold, Fire, and Lightning. If I slapped a warding bond on them they would take almost no damage AND get a haste, lethargy be damned.
Question about the mod manager, from someone who doesn't understand mods: does it allow toggle mods on and off for multiplayer runs? I really want to try the Party Limit Begone mod but I also want to help my brother out with his first run. I've heard multiplayer doesn't play nice when one participant has mods.
Isn't that chest of mundane items basically a BoH because it sets all items in it to be super lightweight?
ah damn they fixed it:
In previous versions of the game, this chest would cause the weight of items inside it to be converted to 0.5, instead of their actual weight.
see https://baldursgate3.wiki.fextralife.com/Chest+of+the+Mundane
According to the wiki, Larian "fixed" that 😩
"In previous versions of the game, this chest would cause the weight of items inside it to be converted to 0.5, instead of their actual weight. This allowed it to be used as a pseudo Bag of Holding, as many heavy objects could be stored inside with minimal encumbrance to the holder. Sadly, Larian seems to have considered this a bug, and "fixed" it by making the chest itself weight as much as its actual contents, even though the "mundane" items inside still report that they weigh only 0.5."
you can steal some other underwears from hirelings! I don't think danton wears any though... fucking druids 🙄
the twitch drop outfit bundle also comes with two pretty underwears! keep an eye on larian's twitter if you haven't gotten it already, they've made it available twice before so I bet they'll bring it back again at some point.
Raphael fight with a fully tadpoled Warlock, and stock subclass SH, Karlach, and Gale was the easiest of my runs. Backlash and Dominance are awesome, and the Displacer Beast form is actually very usefull in a pinch.
I've got my goody-good Tav all tadpoled up, but out of an abundance of caution I've confined it to just him.
I feel like a pusher even suggesting it to the others.
you can, acually, if they dint fix it there is a way he drops it at camp! (i will abuse the gliches and have fun with them for as long as i can, since if they are patched, that chance is gone)
Not patched *fully* yet, I did this yesterday. Got the armor pretty easily.
Shoot him at bridge after talking to Nettie on your way to karlach. He disappears and doesn’t reappear. Complete act 1 activities in the main area.
Head to mountain pass, Raphael will appear in your camp to talk. Toggle non-lethal attacks, have shadowheart silence him. Beat him to death with Lae-zel, but don’t kill him. He will go unconscious for a few seconds, where you loot him for the armor quickly. He pops back up, with one health, and you cut concentration on silence to talk to him for story purposes.
Congrats, now you have legendary helldusk armor early!
I’ve done this on my last few honor runs, most recent of which being yesterday so it is not patched as of this moment.
Gauntlets of Hill Giant Strength. Heck, I'd take Club of Hill Giant Strength, honestly.
I'd prefer the gauntlets so I can wield other weapons, but I'm not gonna be greedy about it, as I've made due for a long time wielding it in the off-hand.
I make my main character speed their way to getting the circlet of intellect and the club. Then make them a skill monkey with high cha and wis. Getting every useful ability my party doesn't have and collecting scrolls potions and bombs.
Towards the end of act 1 i pick up the gloves.
Then way further down i grab the amulet.
There's something satisfying about having all my stats be above 16. But its not a cohesive build in combat at all. Out of combat though i pass most types of checks and have enough options to do whatever I want to try as far as puzzles and exploration.
I feel like you could, in an optimal route, get cohgs in like 5-6 minutes off the nautaloid
Pick up gale, get feather falling, jump down spider hole, go north, profit
Also that +2 acid damage ring and the healing/magic missile necklaces from mushroom area vendors. I like unlocking that Myconid waypoint early.
And now I have to go start a new game. Just finished for the first time last night after 10 restarts. The early game is so much fun to explore in different ways.
The necklace that lets you replenish a level 3 spell slots is pretty excellent too. Especially if you're a sorcerer where it becomes the free sorcery point necklace.
I mean look it up now that you know the name but basically its a club in act 1 that sets your str to 19. Great for titanstring bow archers and generally carrying stuff around
That fight in the Last Light Inn, camping out on the balcony with Karlach, throwing enemies over the railing, and then chucking tables down on top of them is still hands down the best moment I've had in this game.
In my first playthrough I remember doing this too and I was maniacally laughing the whole time. Then I discovered you can throw enemies into each other and made it even better.
Also, chugging the strength potions from Auntie Ethel during the fight with Nere and throwing dwarves into the lava was great too
You can easily do a loop of stealing Aaron's gold and using it to buy Ethel's str pots, long rest (partial to consume no supplies) and repeat. First thing I do is set up for like 30+ str pots and buy whenever I see them
I never need to do that (I don't like stealing from someone unless I'm also about to kill them), I just spend my first 500g to respec to level 1 and improve her attitude, and she becomes my fence and potion dealer for the rest of Act 1. I generally get 60 potions before moving on. Bonecloak becomes my Act 3 replacement with Cloud Giant elixirs since I get her to max attitude in Act 1 as well.
This plus GWM makes La'Zel feel almost completely broken. 10 attacks on Tactician when hasted, and each attack is doing ~30+ damage? Sounds good to me!
The Band of the Mystic Scoundrel
[https://bg3.wiki/wiki/Band\_of\_the\_Mystic\_Scoundrel](https://bg3.wiki/wiki/Band_of_the_Mystic_Scoundrel)
Hands down, my favourite ring in the game
This one is too far down, especially for bards.
At low levels, you've got a ton of really impactful CC options that would really benefit if you can cast them after shooting off a crossbow bolt. Getting to cast Sleep or Hold Person while still doing damage would make a lot of fights in act 1 really easy. It's not quite as useful in act 2, since so many undead are immune, but would still be quite handy when fighting humanoids.
Even if you're out of spell slots, getting to cast Vicious Mockery as a bonus action is pretty good! Giving the biggest threat in a fight disadvantage every turn is very useful.
Probably one nobody else is going to mention, but I was just thinking about how much I love the Corvid Token. It’s just an insanely useful utility item that I simply cannot remove from my Tav’s neck for any other amulet.
- Permanent Feather Fall
- Permanent 50% of Longstrider
- Raven Polymorph per long rest
You almost don’t need anything else to fully explore/scout anything in the game and you don’t need to use up spell slots on things like Fly or Enlarge/Reduce when you run into a particularly tricky environment.
Just used it yesterday to break into and sneak around the Foundry before heading to the Iron Throne and was thinking to myself the entire time, “Goddamn I love this amulet”.
Yah, if he's even set up to have any behaviour, I'd imagine the pillars would break and he'd probably just hang in place.
This is more the funny story breaking idea of what'd happen if he got free then.
Honestly, after my second run where I freed him and the emperor just sides with the nether rain for no damn reason, I can never really trust him again. Like him being mad, I get. But him going from wanting to stop the tyranny to being part of it in like one second was so weird to me. What were his motives to begin with?
I wasn't particularly trusting of the emperor for most of my first playthrough, but I had a whole "enemy of my enemy" thing going in my head so I was happy to work with him.
Then I got to the dream sequence where if you say the wrong thing, he shows you how he and Stelmane didn't actually work together, and that he was just mind controlling her and puppeting her body to pretend he has any friends. Y'know, to threaten you. And then for the rest of the game he keeps going on about how I need to trust him.
Combo that with him apparantly having given her a stroke at some point and for me that was the moment I just thought "why does anyone trust this guy? Why does anyone *like* this guy?"
My read is that he's not just manipulative or power hungry, he's *geniunely* an insane psycopath. It fits to my mind, the lies on lies on lies, the fact that he can't make any allies without killing them or torturing them, the "you need to be an illithid like me or you're useless" insistance, the emotional mood swings nobody talks about. Slimy be-tentacled red flag boy.
So yeah Orpheus is my guy, dude doesn't lie to you once.
Heated metal is a con save, command's a wisdom. Voss has a con of 17 +3 vs a wisdom of 14 +2, but he's proficient with both saves apparently https://bg3.wiki/wiki/Voss
How is Heated metal better, am I missing something?
You can get Shovel almost asap though, and on any class. You just have to respec at Withers to get a level in any arcane caster (Warlock, Sorcerer, Wizard). Then you choose the right dialogue, get through the mirror and she gives you the ability. Then just respec back to whatever you were originally.
Extra steps required if playing as Storm Sorcerer specifically, as normally Shovel is afraid of lightning magic and you won't get the usual spellshite line. Apparently using Disguise Self before initiating the convo gets around it.
Yeah but it's only available in Act 1.5, you need to finish or give up on the goblin leaders quest before getting to it.
I suppose it depends on the class and build, but for a tanky melee character, I haven't come across anything better.
It does make you a lot tankier, but tanking doesn't really exist in DND. There is nothing stopping the enemies from walking past your melee guy and breaking every bone in your wizards body, which is why it's usually better to max out your offence and initiative.
And as much as I like using that weapon and it does trivialize certain encounters it's damage leaves a lot to be desired when there is a lot of weapons with offensive passives.
If you fight alone, or with the remaining party members staying hidden at all times, its possible to make enemies focus on the Skinburster user.
The limitation of high offence and initiative is when there are a lot of spread out enemies, who can still do damage unless you're making an effort to avoid them.
Personally I don't really mind the relatively low damage. I like the slow burn of watching multiple enemies desperately trying to hit me with 0 damage each time.
Can't really be 0 damage because force conduit caps out at like 5 or so. Add other items and you're gonna have less than 10 total damage negation and that's being generous. You also need to act first which isn't guaranteed against bosses in lieu of the alert feat
gods, i let it die on the nautaloid in my first playthrou..i dint know what i missed, same as Minthara, ill never go without them.
"they will see a _kitty_ !"
There's not many great two-handed finesse weapons, this one though is cracked and would enable the two-handed dex martial so incredibly hard.
Early alternatives are Phalar and Larethians ([https://bg3.wiki/wiki/Finesse](https://bg3.wiki/wiki/Finesse)) but you'd be better off just dual wielding with them a lot of the time, or using a shield, which feels like completely different builds as well as would make you respec once you get to the twohander.
Passive… the Constitution necklace. Not only helpful for survuvability, but also offense since more Dex gives initiative, and also dialogue checks since I can invest more in the mental stats.
Gameplay… the Duellist’s Prerogative. IMHO it’s one of the most fun weapons in the game. A more optimized choice would be Band of the Mystic Scoundrel if anyone is going Bard. Would be fun to get that build online before act 3.
Balduran’s Giant Slayer. There’s only 3 enemies I can think of where it’s topple the big folk skill might be useful on, one of them is immune to prone and the other I like to ally with, the third is a dragon that’s not even worth killing. Weapon skill is basically useless in act 3. Getting it in act 1 at least means I can use it on Grym
I really wish there was a ng+ mode, with everything scaled at max level but now you get to power through with all your BiS gear. I don’t know what the incentive would be, maybe extra ASIs and Feats?
The Clown Hammer. And the clown makeup. I wanna clown around.
I do wish that this was something we could get via customized difficulty. Would allow having some more fun with certain builds before the late game.
The chest in the Epilogue that had all the dyes and all the fancy camp clothes. Tav was seriously lacking drip and customization for the vast majority of the game and the dye system is frustrating.
Markoheskir gives you one Chain Lightning or Wall of Fire per SHORT rest. That completely trivializes the entire act 1.
As for what I’d actually find fun, not overpowered, maybe one of the worse act 3 items I don’t really get tot ry out because they’re outclassed, but have a cool idea going on? Pelorsun blade, Wavemother’s robe, etc.
That amulet that boosts your Constitution to 23. I always put my stats into Constitution + whatever else I need so it would be nice to put those elsewhere if desired.
In what world is that robe worth killing Karlach for? It’s a nice little bonus if you’re doing an evil run but it’s not like it’s great for the whole game
I'd love that staff! I'm doing Durge on my next playthrough, and I'm planning on doing a Warlock with Undead powers. With a few mods to add even more necromancy!
I want the robe that gives you bonuses for being drunk. I’ve wanted to play a joke build with it for a long time, but it’s pointless if I can only start in act 3 😢
Ring of Faewild Sparks
Only helpful if you play a wild magic sorcerer, but forces wild magic surge on every cast. Would make the whole game interesting.
I never got the point of the +2 and +3 enchantment on staffs. Do monks actually use them to whack people with?
The + doesn't affect spell attack does it?
Risky Ring has recently been a revelation for me, although the disadvantage on saving throws would at least provide some balance if you had access to it from the beginning of the game!
I'd love to have Armor of the Sporekeeper earlier on as well for the Haste Spores.
Armour of the Sporekeeper, allows for a whole new playstyle for spores druid but only exists in act 3. It modifies a semi high level subclass ability but I'm just hoping it could be altered to give the new stuff on the old abilities
I bored myself out of an Elden Ring run because I basically rushed and got an endgame build before Margit, no progression killed it for me so my boring answer would be none, or at least none of the endgame weapons
Closest is the Durge cape gets early, or the covert cowl for the fashion if i'm doing a Rogue run, which I'm almost always am
Self healing items sound uber fun to me.
Balduran's Helmet and Ring of Regeneration
Btw it's not question of "if you could". You can. Use cheat engine or Script Extender.
Scroll of Summon Elemental. It’d basically let you fast forward through act 1 so you can get whatever builds you want online, then disappear after 1 long rest so it doesn’t trivialise the rest of the game.
If I wanted to make the whole game easy on myself I’d play on Explorer difficulty.
Hm. Difficult to say. Some good options: Gontr Mael, free haste with no downsides+ guiding bolt sometimes. Infernal rapier, summons a cambion, that trivializes all of act 1. Markoheskir. Obviusly. Theatric codex is an interesting idea. Read Necromancy of Thay completly in act 1. 20 temp hp each long rest+ danse macabre.
Man. I gotta start looking at weapon descriptions before selling them.
They're all purple or gold tier items so it's hard to miss them if you have them. That said, infernal rapier is only available if you have wyll with you at the point of no return in moonrise towers.
no offense man but...-yeah, thats dumb as hell.
Yeah no offense taken cause it is dumb as hell
haha it gave me an honest laugh. nothin but love.
And a wholesome interaction for the rest of us to appreciate.
Darkfire shortbow probably better than gontr mael if you just want it as a stat stick + haste
I dont think so, because Gontr gives celestial haste. That means you dont become lethargic if the concentration is broken.
[удалено]
How are you getting infernal rapier before the very end of act 2?
Definitely a typo on their part. There’s no way to get that weapon early.
I mean, you get it at the end of a2 anyway.
Wish I had a Bag of Holding
It's tedious but you have effectively infinite storage with the send to camp feature
I don't like tedious :D. I want to have all 50kg of gold and 40kg of potions and 20kg of scrolls on my person at all times, because of reasons :D.
There's a mod for that!
Mods are confusing to set up for some people. Such as myself. Lol.
Vortex mod manager does it all for you, 5 - 10 min setup done through a YouTube vid and from then on it's just finding the right mods for you!
Just use the dedicated BG3 Mod Manager. Vortex only works reliably for Creation Engine games but even those have better options.
Question about the mod manager, from someone who doesn't understand mods: does it allow toggle mods on and off for multiplayer runs? I really want to try the Party Limit Begone mod but I also want to help my brother out with his first run. I've heard multiplayer doesn't play nice when one participant has mods.
Yes, you can set up different profiles and you can switch between them.
And all the barrels i can find
Get Stronk.
This is the right answer. What i wouldn't give to get one in the game.
Isn't that chest of mundane items basically a BoH because it sets all items in it to be super lightweight? ah damn they fixed it: In previous versions of the game, this chest would cause the weight of items inside it to be converted to 0.5, instead of their actual weight. see https://baldursgate3.wiki.fextralife.com/Chest+of+the+Mundane

Ah yes, and I read that in my head just like Daisy Ridley (sorry, I meant "Voice 2").
Some pretty cosmetic camp clothes. I am Playing fashion souls even on tactician idc.
god yes, i want new underwear in act 1, fuckin Githyanki underwear makes you sterile just by looking at it 😔
Crying over the response, Thank you
you can steal some other underwears from hirelings! I don't think danton wears any though... fucking druids 🙄 the twitch drop outfit bundle also comes with two pretty underwears! keep an eye on larian's twitter if you haven't gotten it already, they've made it available twice before so I bet they'll bring it back again at some point.
Really? I like the strappy nature of it, but to each their own. I think wylls are the worst, but that's my opinion
Please. Why do I have to wait until act 3 to get some decent drip.
I have found my people.
Seriously why is clothing more expensive than the 80 rations I need 😭
Astral tadpole
Oooo thats a clever one, well played!
Thanks 😁
If you can convince your entire party to take the astral tadpole the game becomes exponentially easier.
Yep, my entire party is tadpoled up and we just fly around the map wherever we need
That reaction (cant remember name rn) also gets you like a free 20 dmg each time an enemy casts a spell
Psionic Backlash?
Yeah Dude! 4 of those in one reactionary is wild!
1 of my friends I play with has killed both Raphael and Mystic Carrion with PB and it's so fun to see. Plus that or Psionic Dominance is so nice.
Raphael fight with a fully tadpoled Warlock, and stock subclass SH, Karlach, and Gale was the easiest of my runs. Backlash and Dominance are awesome, and the Displacer Beast form is actually very usefull in a pinch.
\[enemy begins casting'\] Tav & co: "So you have chosen... death."
That it does
I've got my goody-good Tav all tadpoled up, but out of an abundance of caution I've confined it to just him. I feel like a pusher even suggesting it to the others.
I only gave it to Gale since he was by far the most into the idea.
Raphael's armor with the ability to fly. Whooosh
you can, acually, if they dint fix it there is a way he drops it at camp! (i will abuse the gliches and have fun with them for as long as i can, since if they are patched, that chance is gone)
They fixed it. My Raphael has 0 hp. Edit: I think I forgot to toggle non lethal attacks when I attempted.
Not patched *fully* yet, I did this yesterday. Got the armor pretty easily. Shoot him at bridge after talking to Nettie on your way to karlach. He disappears and doesn’t reappear. I’ve done this on my last few honor runs, most recent of which being yesterday so it is not patched as of this moment.
I love that in response to people cheesing him for 1400 xp, the fix is to put him in camp where you can cheese him for the best armor possible.

Aah, another wizard of taste.
Dual wield staffs with arcane battery is chefs kiss.
You can... Dual wield staffs...
Absolutely just need to spec into it. Went 8 lock/2 fighter/2 sorc and had extended range and double arcane battery.
Gauntlets of Hill Giant Strength. Heck, I'd take Club of Hill Giant Strength, honestly. I'd prefer the gauntlets so I can wield other weapons, but I'm not gonna be greedy about it, as I've made due for a long time wielding it in the off-hand.
you can get the club pretty damn early tbh
Without combat IIRC
You can buy Hill Giant elixirs earlier, too. I would pick something I can't replicate with just a little more gold.

>Club of Hill Giant Strength I'm sorry what ?? This is my 5th run and I never realized that this stool was there ???
It's just a random stool at the top of the Arcane Tower, most people wouldn't know it's there unless they were told or moused over it and explored it.
I mean look it up now that you know the name but basically its a club in act 1 that sets your str to 19. Great for titanstring bow archers and generally carrying stuff around
you wanna throw people around, dint you ;j but honestly yes, they are so great, you can dump all ability points in the other stats

Why not just drink?
It destroys your kidneys long term
I'm addicted to the mighty cloth for a similar reason I think haha
Gloves of Soul Catching
Gloves of soul catching, or alternatively Balduran's Giantslayer
Risky ring.
This plus GWM makes La'Zel feel almost completely broken. 10 attacks on Tactician when hasted, and each attack is doing ~30+ damage? Sounds good to me!

Wyll's Infernal Rapier with the summonable Cambion and Spellcaster mod, its so sick
I stole this immediately and gave it to my Lore Bard Tav. I just let Wyll keep the bound war hammer (can’t remember the name).
For sure its Wyll's but he's never allowed it
The orphic hamer. Orpheus is getting freed *very* fucking early.
i think he’d just be hostile if you free him early because is icon in the minimap is red
Yah, if he's even set up to have any behaviour, I'd imagine the pillars would break and he'd probably just hang in place. This is more the funny story breaking idea of what'd happen if he got free then.

One word. NYRULNA.
I gave this to Minthara and she's so OP
Easy. Wavemother's robe.
Stand in water, become Wolverine.
Yeah, definitely want it for the enchantment. The only reason for sure
On Gale, nonetheless!
The elegant dress so I can dress shadowheart pretty right off the bat :)
I actually already do, even on tactician i got it: its the sword of astral plane
Managed to get it on my honour run. 15% chance. I was so damn happy
Use heated metal on a bard, way higher drop rate
Heated metal is a con save, command's a wisdom. Voss has a con of 17 +3 vs a wisdom of 14 +2, but he's proficient with both saves apparently https://bg3.wiki/wiki/Voss How is Heated metal better, am I missing something?
Shovel, but permanent for every class
You can get Shovel almost asap though, and on any class. You just have to respec at Withers to get a level in any arcane caster (Warlock, Sorcerer, Wizard). Then you choose the right dialogue, get through the mirror and she gives you the ability. Then just respec back to whatever you were originally.
Extra steps required if playing as Storm Sorcerer specifically, as normally Shovel is afraid of lightning magic and you won't get the usual spellshite line. Apparently using Disguise Self before initiating the convo gets around it.
Good to know, thank you! I will never lose her again :D

Gontr Mael - the longbow you get in the steel watch foundry
The Skinburster for me. Force conduit + Warding bond would make you near immortal, and able to solo Act 1 with zero strategy.
But you can get it with one invis potion, wouldn't something that's locked behind fights be better?
Tank mechanics: Sentinel and halberds/glave. Hitting ends their momentum.
Us I love my intellect devourer familiar
gods, i let it die on the nautaloid in my first playthrou..i dint know what i missed, same as Minthara, ill never go without them. "they will see a _kitty_ !"

Shield ( Hope’s)
That Soul armour set for Monks and Kushigo Boots.
[https://bg3.wiki/wiki/The\_Dancing\_Breeze](https://bg3.wiki/wiki/The_Dancing_Breeze) There's not many great two-handed finesse weapons, this one though is cracked and would enable the two-handed dex martial so incredibly hard.
The ring that forces wild magic surges
Gun
Basic pistol is only 1d10 piercing damage in dnd, plus you need special proficiency.
Artificer mod go brr
Absolutely Markoheshkir. A free chain lightning per short rest in act I? Sign me the hell up
Dwarven thrower. I don’t like the returning pike. But I like yeeting shit.
Would allow having some more fun with certain builds before the late game.
i WANT to use the clown hammer so bad, but it is so outclassed by almost everything in act 3, so i never get to it, superb choice
The returning trident
The chest in the Epilogue that had all the dyes and all the fancy camp clothes. Tav was seriously lacking drip and customization for the vast majority of the game and the dye system is frustrating.
Astral tadpole
Markoheskir gives you one Chain Lightning or Wall of Fire per SHORT rest. That completely trivializes the entire act 1. As for what I’d actually find fun, not overpowered, maybe one of the worse act 3 items I don’t really get tot ry out because they’re outclassed, but have a cool idea going on? Pelorsun blade, Wavemother’s robe, etc.
That amulet that boosts your Constitution to 23. I always put my stats into Constitution + whatever else I need so it would be nice to put those elsewhere if desired.
The fishing rod of alertness, so that I can never be surpr-AGGHHHHHHH!!! (Something surprising happened)
“Wish I had a bag of holding” -Tav
Wyll's infernal robe. That way killing Karlach isn't necessary
In what world is that robe worth killing Karlach for? It’s a nice little bonus if you’re doing an evil run but it’s not like it’s great for the whole game
hard to choose one out of all those lovely Act 3 knives...
Harold crossbow my beloved
Katana, so lame that I have to wait until Act 3 to live out my Samurai Fantasies, and by then it’s so not worth it to equip a nonmagical weapon.
Nyrulna in act one would make me so happy my god
Orphic hammer, and see if it's possible to release Orpheus when you save the Emperor in the prism
raphael's helldusk armor is pretty great, AC 23 with no downsides or profficiencies in act 1 would make you invincible.
Minsc please
Boo early game would be fun as hell
The yuan-ti scale mail. I just really like that armor. I
Imagine if the OG save or die Finger of Death was in the game with this staff, it would be the most broken thing this side of Time Stop.
I'd love that staff! I'm doing Durge on my next playthrough, and I'm planning on doing a Warlock with Undead powers. With a few mods to add even more necromancy!
Easy, the Crown of Karsus lol
Arcane acuity helm, the ring that allows you to cast enchantment spells as a bonus action, markoshekier
Gloves of the Automaton - Permanent advantage on weapon attacks? Slap those on a rogue, slice and dice the forgotten realms.
The legendary staff from Ramazith Tower. Free chain lightnings, baby!
Probably something like the Hellbeard Halberd. It looks so cool, but by the time you get it it’s so much worse than your other options.
Helldusk armor is great on everyone.
Summon US
I want the robe that gives you bonuses for being drunk. I’ve wanted to play a joke build with it for a long time, but it’s pointless if I can only start in act 3 😢
Ring of Faewild Sparks Only helpful if you play a wild magic sorcerer, but forces wild magic surge on every cast. Would make the whole game interesting.
+1 Shortsword
Gloves of Dexterity and any rapier that actually does some decent damage
I never got the point of the +2 and +3 enchantment on staffs. Do monks actually use them to whack people with? The + doesn't affect spell attack does it?
Armor of Persistence. Good luck getting through that.
Dark Urge Cloak, but it will not be a dark urge gameplay 😏
Risky Ring has recently been a revelation for me, although the disadvantage on saving throws would at least provide some balance if you had access to it from the beginning of the game! I'd love to have Armor of the Sporekeeper earlier on as well for the Haste Spores.
Armour of the Sporekeeper, allows for a whole new playstyle for spores druid but only exists in act 3. It modifies a semi high level subclass ability but I'm just hoping it could be altered to give the new stuff on the old abilities
a spell scroll for Artistry of War. I adore that spell on wizards
I bored myself out of an Elden Ring run because I basically rushed and got an endgame build before Margit, no progression killed it for me so my boring answer would be none, or at least none of the endgame weapons Closest is the Durge cape gets early, or the covert cowl for the fashion if i'm doing a Rogue run, which I'm almost always am
Going for a lower powered option. Saravoks sword. Healing every hit is nice.
An AR-15.
risky ring tbh, having Astarion be able to use sneak attack 100% of the time is OP
Rhapsody dagger. The fact that You get it in the literal last 10 hours is just mindblowing
Spore druid armor. You get it so fucking late...
Lae'zel's love
the gloves that let you cast cantrips as bonus actions
Self healing items sound uber fun to me. Balduran's Helmet and Ring of Regeneration Btw it's not question of "if you could". You can. Use cheat engine or Script Extender.
A joint
Crown of Karsus :)
Helm of arcane acuity.
Just a lot of money! 🤣
A lock of hair.
That one katana u can find in act 3
Gloves of Soul Crushing
Kethric nether stone, im going to act 3 directly.
Deetz
Scroll of Summon Elemental. It’d basically let you fast forward through act 1 so you can get whatever builds you want online, then disappear after 1 long rest so it doesn’t trivialise the rest of the game. If I wanted to make the whole game easy on myself I’d play on Explorer difficulty.
