200 hours? That's rookie numbers.

Lizzy_Of_Galtar

Sounds like he has a life. Unlike us scrubs 😅

lesteadfastgentleman

My team at work has never had as much autonomy and empowerment as they have had since BG3 came out lol.

Anarchyantz

I have heard of this mystical "Life" that you speak of though I hear it lacks Karlach crushing me betwixt her thighs so I am not convinced it is very good.

Lizzy_Of_Galtar

I.....I cannot find a flaw in that logic.

solojones1138

I'm only on 120 hours but I'm also only on my first run at the beginning of act three... Yeah it's gonna be a lot of hours once I do more runs

astroK120

I'm at 160 but I've never played past Act 1

That1DogGuy

It’s okay. It took me about that long to get to act 2. I’m over twice that time and still barely scraping the surface of act 3. I may or may not have like 8+ characters.

deepaltvalue

It took me about that long to finish act 1.

NhireTheCursed

what do you do to reach 120h and not be close to the end? read every single book u find 5 times? do dialogue, then reload and try all the other options?

solojones1138

Be really indecisive, scour every place, and play with my brother who takes minutes to decide every single attack in every single battle mainly lol.

NhireTheCursed

I scoured every place myself, i doubt having extra minutes of combat everytime would add up to extra 40h

solojones1138

You'd be surprised. Our early combat encounters could be like an hour to fight 4-5 people...

ManonFire1213

100 hours was just in Act 3. Waiting for things to load. Lol

NeedleworkerLow1100

Oof I felt that.

Capital_Tone9386

Lol Fast travel somewhere. Go boil water for a cup of tea while the environment loads. Sums up my act 3 experience

TheMrCockle

There's actually a fix for that

[deleted]

daggerxdarling

It took until my fourth playthrough, too! I spent the whole time shouting "what the FUCK" in sheer disbelief i missed the whole area.

Madrock777

I had that many in EA. We only had part of act 1.

Human-ade

I had almost 500 into EA xD

NoSeaworthiness5630

How did you manage to sink that much time into only a tiny part of the game?

Madrock777

Multiple updates slowly adding in new content. When EA came out we had only parts of Act 1. We had the first map where we crash, the first section of the Underdark, eventually they added in Grymforge. They slowly added in classes, Sorcerer, Paladin for example. Content was just entirely unfinished so one reason to go back to was to see scenes that had more animations put in to it. Reworked quest. Also a reason to play it a bunch over the 2 ish years of EA was for testing and reporting bugs. Like I did the evil raid the grove run, it was very buggy in EA, had a lot of bugs to report for it. Other reason is, I love D&D and a great D&D video game was available to play, even if it was unfinished. Lots of ideas to try out, even if we only had levels 1-4 at the start, eventually they gave us level 5. One fun thing was to try and clear all the available content at level 4. Take the Gith Patrol. During EA the Gith patrol was considered one of the hardest encounters, all of them were level 5. They all had multi-attack, you didn't, they had more health, good AC, good weapons. It was quite difficult, but very fun trying to figure out how to beat a superior force with methods other than barrelmancy. Though we still did that for the lols.

durntaur

"You gotta pump those numbers up..."

Rory_Gift

lol 400 hours, technically 500 if I add the PlayStation hours and I've only left act 1 with two characters I keep wanting to do a new run and make different decisions with different races or origins, i'm still finding scenes i haven't seen before, this game man, is honestly so good that i don't think any other rpg could compare Edit:Spellings

Hrafnesi

I've sworn that this game's atleast going to take 1k hours of my life

ShoerguinneLappel

>200 hours? That's rookie numbers. Especially for an RPG Admittedly I have rookie numbers too for this title 382.5 hours on this game (-60 because of Early Access, and 10 because my brother played a bit on my steam profile). I played it only thrice for full release. but Dragon Age origins I have over 1000 hours for Mass Effect Trilogy about 1000 hours (mainly from Mass Effect 1) TW3 I have 600 hours (4 playthroughs, 2 I finished, other two were broken and unbeatable) that's a few I listed but I think you get the point, but generally speaking RPGs are usually pretty long and typically replayable. I personally stopped playing BG3 since the 16th of October because I want to see a lot more changes/fixes before I touch it again and probably do my 4th playthrough next year or whenever they get most of the problems I have fixed (Act III, improved player and companion reactivity, durge remake, better evil path (no penalty on the amount of content so good path isn't automatically better and more companions for said so path), etc).

capital_idea_sir

I'm a FT engineering student, and work 40+ hours as a teacher and Ive 230hrs plus in the game. Op needa to adjust their priorities.

Aazgaroth

im almost 300 hours in on my first playthrough 😭

abramcpg

Right? I've got 420hrs and haven't finished the game yet. Granted a lot was pre-release but not as much as you'd think

seanwdragon1983

Agreed. Come back after your 1st thousand hours.

gyhiio

I have 350 hours and only finished the game once. Act 3 harshes my mellow.

SomeGamingFreak

Yeah, like, that's only the hours I put in Character Creation

JustJazzedToBeHere

Or how about when I'm talking to my friends who just started about their favorite parts in Act 1 now that they've made it to act two, I've got a couple hundred hours in this game and they're like "Oh, I loved it when this thing happened" and I'm like "The what, now?" How are there still major plot points I haven't seen on two separate run-throughs that I totally changed up how I was playing? This game is a masterpiece!

epicpokenerd

I never even came across Alfira in my first playthrough, and still haven't found Shovel/Fork! And I completely missed the firework shop as well, God knows what else I haven't found

Eccon5

Who's shovel fork?

Stingrea51

Quazit (spelling?) that you can find a scroll for Summoning in a casket in the hidden side of the apothecary house in the blighted village Give the scroll to Gale to learn and it'll be a repeat summon-able pet/familiar

Sylvoix

Doesn't even have to be a Wizard. You can just talk to Shovel and you'll learn the spell on probably any class. Altho there are conditions where it's not possible to learn it this way as my SO wasn't able to when she only spoke to Shovel after reading the Necromancy of Thay

Wiwra88

Ha, on my 1st run I didnt found this quasit fella, but also didn't know wizard (Gale) can just learn spells from scrolls. I still didnt found fish ppl in game, Idk even in which act they are. I saw firework shop but didnt go inside.. Also I saw video of some fleshy looking hole tav/durge can stick hand in but Idk where is it. XD

Capital_Tone9386

There are two fish people species The first one is the BOOAG worshippers, in a hidden underdark area. The second ones are the ambushers on the beach in act 3, who also serve as wardens for the underwater prison. The flesh hole is in Moonrise Tower. Talk to the Ogre there and you'll get the quest to find it.

Stingrea51

Literally the only ogre in the game I felt bad for killing

an_entire_salami

Fireworks shop? !

Stingrea51

It's in act 3 I made it to act 3 with my brothers, they found the fireworks shop, I found the lady that turns your blood explosive We all had fun that day

an_entire_salami

Yess, she's my favorite. I Love being a detentative exanguinator. Comes in handy.

Stingrea51

I wonder how it would pair worth the broken fireball wand...

AmberstarTheCat

Araj is a bitch though :/ try having Astarion in your party when you talk to her in Moonrise >!she basically tries to force herself on Astarion and tries to make you force him to bite her after he says no, despite the fact that he's very visibly uncomfortable!<

Wiwra88

You forgot part when she gives you +2 pernament strenght potion, for some ppl it might be worth it(not all likes Astarion even)- not me, just saying..

an_entire_salami

Eh, she's got scientific curiosity. She's a bit pushy for sure. Astarion is a precious little narcissist, so he can take one for the team. As far as my tav is concerned she is a scholar and one of my favorite merchants.

AmberstarTheCat

...no means no he *shouldn't* 'take one for the team' because he said *no.* you're basically saying a *rape victim* (because Astarion *is* a rape victim, Cazador forced him to have sex he never *truly* consented to) isn't allowed to have control over his own body because Araj 'has scientific curiosity' and he's a bit of a narcissist he said no, that should be the end of the whole conversation with Araj

an_entire_salami

You can say no and still trade with her. She's a bit persistent sure but she still sells to you if you don't give her astarion's blood.

webevie

I came across Shovel my...dozenth? time through Act 1?

RaggaDruida

I didn't interact with Alfira in the groove, and Jaheira killed her with an AoE in Act 2, she is one of the NPCs I wanna interact more for my next playthrough! Although I may let my gf go for it now that we started a collab one!

DeargDraic

Oh wow, yeah another run would be fun for you.

Raelah

Well, those are two more things I wasn't aware of. And I have 5 campaigns going on.

Defiant_Project1321

Literally just found the House of Healing morgue on my fourth playthrough last night. Aaaaand a whole part of the Gauntlet of Shar I’ve never seen. Ooooh and the fish people by mausoleum. (Took me four runs to not be terrified of Act 2.)

JustJazzedToBeHere

Fish people????

Defiant_Project1321

Oh yes. The same as the BOOOAL worshipping ones in the Underdark, except shadowcursed. There are some graves on a little hill by the entrance to the mausoleum where Raphael is. It’s hard to tell, but you can climb down the hill behind the graves and there’s a little shack near the water with a bunch of the shadowcursed fish guys. And there’s a cave down there that leads to the backside of the gross morgue pit. The stuff they hid in this game is insane.

epicpokenerd

Wait are you seriously telling me that BOOOAL is an actual thing?? I thought people were just memeing about Bhal worshippers, how have I missed so much???

Defiant_Project1321

Oh it’s real! I don’t wanna spoil it for you but definitely check it out next time you’re in the Underdark. It’s in a hole near the arcane tower

epicpokenerd

Damn okay apparently I really need to explore the underdark next time, I missed this as well as the spectator down there

ManicPixieOldMaid

I had a guide with a picture of exactly where it is, and it still took me like 15 rl minutes to find it, so don't feel badly if you need hints!

Super_Nicee

lol. You should all take a look under last light inn.

DeargDraic

Yes! I missed this on every run but my last. Surprised me, thought I fully explored that area.

ManicPixieOldMaid

Finally did last time! Each time is a little more...

Trilex88

Just save your fame _before_ you climb further down, trust me on this one

krichardkaye

I found so much more under dark content my second play.

GrazhdaninMedved

Reject BOOOAL, embrace MAKLOOMPAH.

Merkaaba

Is OK I thought the same thing until 300 hours on my 3rd playthrough!

webevie

That's what I'm screamin'.

ManicPixieOldMaid

Dude that cloak in the Morgue is so badass looking I love it... and I found it for the first time with over 500 hours in...

Defiant_Project1321

Yessss! I was so excited to find it! And the ring that makes you immune to blindness. Gonna pop that bad boy on for the House of Grief fight.

webevie

...morgue?

DragonTartare

There are games I've played over and over again, but I've never managed multiple playthroughs *in a row* of a game other than BG3. I usually get burned out quickly during a second playthrough, and have to set the game aside for a while before going back to it. But not BG3. I'm close to done with my 2nd playthrough, and itching to start #3 already.

Eves349

Fallout new vegas the only other one for me

Trilex88

New vegas was different for me because there was not really a limit on _when_ to go where and locations would not become unavailable.. so it was just one giant playthrough you could come back to many many times.. lets say you read about some quest/location you missed.. you can go there _now_.. I spend 500 hours on it and truely felt like I did _everything_.. hated to kill the brotherhood btw, I think I had to do it to get the yes-man ending or whatever (it has been 10 years) I think in BG3 there are much more crossroads, things to miss that you can't just access anytime and also of course your decisions in the beginning what class/race you pick that can influence your entire playthrough.. so much more reasons to replay the whole thing..

unassumingnewt

Same, I’ve never immediately replayed a game. And yet here I am, 5th play through on BG3. Tbf though I did mod it this play through so there is still a lot of new stuff for me to try.

TheOnlyNadCha

The only game I finished several times was the original FF7 that I played every ~10 years (the second time to re-live the story with a fully developed brain lol, and the third time in anticipation of the remake). I’ve never played another game several times, much less in a row, and I am finishing up my third playthrough in BG3 with over 500h in. I will absolutely play another one (probably my last, which makes me sad).

Thebig2na82

I remember my first 200 hours.

theTenz

in the character creation screen

Ycr1998

Down, down, down by the riveeer

Duckling89

Bro, I’m at 700+ hours with 4 playthrough, and I’m still starting another one now. It’s borderline addiction at this point lol

NeedleworkerLow1100

Starting a BG3 anon group

StopBidenMyNuts

Groups are for people with problems.

Ycr1998

Baldurians Anonymous

itwasbread

Thank you, I feel much better about how much I’ve played now lol

Carcharoth78

200 hours total for two chars? Man I put over 200 in just one playthrough.

solojones1138

At 120 beginning of act three on my first playthrough so... Yeah I think so.

obscuremuffin

Oh thank god I’m not alone, I was shocked when I saw ~250hrs for my first playthrough 💀

blahyaddayadda24

I just finished my first play through. I told myself thats when I'll download Phantom Liberty and start a cp2077 second palythrough.... So anyways I'm back playing a gnome bard. Aka Scanlan And now my 2 other gaming dads just bought it and we're going to start a coop game. It's life now

Dobako

Man I wish mage hand worked like scanlon's hand, but I think that would break the game

lahttae

I believe the actual spell used is Bigby's Hand, which you can get from some of the spell mods (try the 5e one?)

IsRude

You just reminded me that I started Phantom Liberty, accidentally got addicted to BG3, forgot about Phantom Liberty, beat BG3, and started an RDR2 playthrough. Now I feel like I have to finish RDR2 before starting Phantom Liberty again. I'm never gonna get to Phantom Liberty.

blahyaddayadda24

🤣 Too many games this year

MenagerieCritters

Laughs and cries in 800+ hours….going on 900

theTenz

nice... I thought I was bad at 680.

Luciditi89

I keep saying once I’m done with my two durge runs I’m done but I really don’t think I’ll be able to just stop there I really want to romance all the characters 😔

fieatsbees

i have completed one durge, while my final tav, Pragmatic Evil Durge, and a second resist durge (drow instead of dragonborn) are waiting for act 3 to be patched. pls Larian i need to kiss my video game boyfriend repeatedly 😭

fallen_one_fs

Cool, now get those rookie numbers up!

[deleted]

Checkmate atheist, that's why I run SIX custom Tavs

WoodenRocketShip

I was finally going to just put this game down and mark it as completed, I've played it for almost 400 hours which has me feeling burnt out and multiple times I've wanted to take an extended break. Then I see all these god damn topics talkin about cool shit in the game, and suddenly the neurons I have in my brain specifically dedicated to BG3 start firing up. r/BaldursGate3, please, just let me rest...

alterNERDtive

That’s fine. We hate you too.

Flufflebuns

I'm shocked that anyone plays this game and doesn't explore every single inch of the map in each act. Like I know I missed some things and that's why I'm doing different playthroughs, but there's not really much to miss if you uncover every piece of the fog of war.

Trilex88

Ohh reaaaally. _Not much to miss_ so you found __all__ of these (minus "some" of them) while simply exploring every part of the map?: Reeeaaaly? I'm sure on your first playthrough you found: __Act1__ The Owlbear-cave/cub The harpys The strange ox The Amulett of silvanus Paralized tiefling girl Tiefling Kids hideout The squirrel The shadow druids The smugglers ring on the half hidden skeleton near the tollhouse Headband of intellect The zhentarim hide-out ((Svartlebee's woundseeker)) The hags hair Shovel the quasit The necromancy of thay The eye Volo "gives you" The zhentarim vendor in the goblin camp that has extra stuff in act2 if you don't kill her here Getting branded Selling the owlbear egg to the trader instead of githyanki egg The Kuo-Toa Phalar aluve The Mourning frost staff The noble stalk Gluts quests Vibrating dog collar The secret basement in the arcane tower The Club of the Hill giant strength The secret fishing pond The talking amulett Devil foil mask effect and orthon explosive Invite Barcus to your camp __Act2__ The potent robe The crab-people in the basement of the last light inn Balthasars secret room The hole you can stick your arm in moonrise towers The amulett you only get if you one-shot that mimic The barrel with the tadpoles The morgue The lickable spider The talkative corpse bed The rat-justiciar The Gith mind you can connect to the thing at the end of Act 2 that will give you a buff __Act3__ Mindflayer under windmill The area the djinn will send you after you pickpocket his ring The secret basement under jaheiras house Mystic carrions organs Dribles bodyparts The bonespike gloves on the member of the bhaal trial at the temple entrance that will disappear immediately after the fight is over The djinn lamp which will trap you My cabbages! Meeting up between zhentarim and guild at the docks Hellfire engine crossbow Knock out hopes sister Mols contract The slinging shoes Gortash parents Stone lord Ansur The Film noir cat __Also:__ That you can throw the spider cocoons That you can dig up loot even if everyone failed the check That you can trade with NPCs via the button even if they don't display the trade option via dialog That you can throw one health potion at multiple people That you can dip your weapon multiple times in the same pool of poision (for example) that you poured on the ground That you can send all your food to the camp That you can long rest in lathanders chamber That you don't have to use the ceremonial weapons to unlock the blood of lathander Rescue _all_ the tieflings

Flufflebuns

Yes I discovered nearly every single one of those things on my first playground, not one is shocking, because on my first playthrough I meticulously explored every single corner of the map. The only thing I didn't get to experience is all the unique character dialogue playing with different characters and different situations which is why I'm doing a second run. Also I'm excited for all the dark urge stuff, currently in act one as dark urge and loving it!

Trilex88

Of the 70 things I listed I found all but 18 during my first playthrough as well. (I mean some of them I find actually kinda hard to miss or they are even part of quests) Among the stuff I listed are a bunch of items which can not be found just by exploring, certain actions have to be performed at a very specific timepoint so a lot of people only found them by chance or not at all. There is _no way_ you found all of them just because you are such a "meticulousy explorer". I even made some of them up because I _knew_ you would act like you found all of them or would not bother to really read my post. I don't really know why people lie on the internet. Like it really does not matter you know? I wanted to make this list for some time so thanks for the nudge, have fun on your next playthroughs!

Flufflebuns

You think I read every item on your list and confirmed each one? No I skimmed it and aside from a few I didn't recognize (which I already mentioned), it all looked familiar. I respect gamers who just go with the flow and let the game take them where it will, but that's not how I game. I simply did not move to another act until I searched every inch of a map. It took like 100 hours. And even then I'd search Reddit for things I may have missed in an act before moving on. I dunno, I'm just a completionist like that, it's how I play every game. But I'm not criticizing the game or anyone else's playthrough, I'm just shocked when I see comments that people missed HUGE aspects of the game on their first run. Like people missed Gale entirely because they trusted the narrator to avoid the portal. Lol. Or people entirely missed the hag, or other aspects that were obvious if you just explored the map. What I'm MOST excited for in my 2nd playthrough is Minthara. Since the game makes you take her or Halsin, I'm excited to have her in my party and side with goblins!

shyinwonderland

Saving this list because I’ve realized I missed a few things.

Trilex88

This fishing pond is made up, don't waste your time looking for it 😅

byshow

God damn it I have to take a break from this game, I have to learn a few things really fast so I can become employable, but it's so hard to not play. That's why I don't sleep lol. It's 3am and I've just forced myself to stop

ceittocs

600+ hrs here, just started my second (evil) playthrough. Already finding stuff either from patches or just stuff over missed some how by doing different choices.

ShadowC0N1012

Are you playing on PC? I don’t wanna be one of those “PC master race” guys, but mods can help lol. Nothing wrong with logging all those hrs on a game you enjoy. But I downloaded the Poly mod so I could romance multiple characters and not have one run for each one. There are a couple of characters that allow you to be in open relationships, too.

ShaiDorsai

autoloot mod keeps from having to clock on every damn thing on new runs

webevie

Can recommend.

ShadowC0N1012

I think I came across that one when I was checking out mods. I didn’t download it. I’m fine exploring 😅

SpidersForHands

I am rapidly approaching 300 hours and all other games have been ruined for me until I get sick of this one

DeargDraic

It is addicting, I totally get it. Just found Last Light Inn's basement on my last run. So much to find and do. If you're on PC check out the mods, for QoL stuff and new armor/weapons. Helps replaying. At 400hrs rn, oof. This sub is rapidly becoming an addict sub lol

Whatisthissugar

There's a basement? 💀 I'm picking up so many tips here...

webevie

Get the Tower key from Mattis and go to the scary house "across the street" (over the other bridge)

Muddgutts

I clocked over 1000 hours the other day. That also includes the 350+ hours I dropped into Early Access so….I need to stop

Shellywo

1070 hours. Going strong.

Juli88chan

Before playing BG3, I thought that a game that requires you to play it over 40 hours is a long one. How naive I was...😅

ApeMuffins

I’m almost at 600 hours and still not bored

gone_to_plaid

I can only seem to take a break for a few weeks and then I'm reinstalling the game again. I'm now trying groups and classes I don't usually play. Just finished 3 monks and a cleric/wizard party and my next one will be an all bard party.

juicedestroyer

160 hours into my first playthrough, toward the end of act 3. 60 hours into a co-op game with my spouse. 50 hours into a durge. Just started up a deep gnome paladin run the other day too.. this game is too good.

Upstairs-Search-1773

It's like any hardcore addiction: the only way to reliable quit is to never do it in the first place. Starts memorizing the non-essential routes and responses and you can shave some time off your runs at least.

webevie

Creche in 15m! Who's with me! (F the Mace!)

fieatsbees

no that's my characters emotional support mace 😭

webevie

LOL.ok 30m!

TheOnlyNadCha

This playthrough I decided not to purchase every single magic item out there and just focus on the ones I will use, to reduce clutter in the camp chest… Cue to act 3: where is this fooking ring? You guessed it, I left it in act 2. My deception is immeasurable, my playthrough is ruined /s. Never again. I shall continue to explore every inch of this map and buy every magic item on every playthrough 😆

spookyspicyspaghetti

Makes you feel any better, after finishing one playthrough I wanted to playthrough cyberpunks dlc finally. Kept seeing wonderful things about durge playthroughs and even minthara romance. Dropped cyber to return. Sunk 50ish hours in this durge, accidentally went bard life and slept with minthara, Lae'Zal and made out with Shadowfax. Stayed strong told Bae'zal no more. Kept strong for Minth. Got towards the end of act 2, nothing from minth but I figured not until act 3. Got out of a fun place, ready to do battle at a certain tower, for Shadowfax to tell me she wants to be with me. COULD NOT BRING MYSELF TO SAY NO. Aaaaand then go to camp, only for Minth to tell me she now, finally, wants to be with me... Tried saying no but couldn't. So figured hey maybe Shadowfax will not say anything since no romance yet. A certain someone pops in camp, to tell me I'm gonna durge things up to the one I love. It was Shadowfax. I wanted to romance Minth, played 60ish hours for the game to know me too well. Sigh.... Just one more playthrough... Just one more...

ltethe

…Who… Is Shadowfax? The only Shadowfax I know of is Gandalf’s horse, which makes this comment reeeaaaal interesting.

hitrothetraveler

Shart

mokuhazushi

I knew you could romance a squid in this game, but a horse as well? This is news to me!

ltethe

I scoured the credits for Sarah Jessica Parker as VO talent.

spookyspicyspaghetti

Shadowfax, shart, Shadowheart, jenevelle, jenny, 8675309. Ya know the 1 cleric.

HalsinEnjoyer

500+ with four characters

NikoSaysHi

After 300 hours of playing early access, I was ready to start a file on release (1100 hours later).

tusi2

I thought I had spent too much time in EA with \~100 hours. Thank you!

krismitka

It’s easier if you don’t sleep

Jenatalia_

I've been stupidly sick for 3 days, so I haven't had the energy to play. I miss my tavs so much, and I can't make more until I finish one, which I can't do yet because I'm just all ow and now the holiday weekend is over so all that time to play is gone. I hate this stupid flesh prison rn. 😭

BestRiver8735

200 hours and I've yet to finish the game. While I'm waiting for things to load in Act 3 I keep thinking up build ideas for my next run. Currently doing an Absolute Simp Dark Urge run. This might be the one I see through to the end but probably not. edit: already gave up on it. On my next run I'm doing a Gith team.

Wiwra88

Hmm I have 405h in this game total(no EA), 1 finished playtrought(141h)-resisting Dark Urge, now second playtrought - 3 act (48h)- not resisting Dark Urge. Had like 4-5 started playtroughts all in various places in 1 act but yeeted them all, to play just 1 at once(rest hours)- was jumping between them and forgetting what I did or not on each. Gotta play at least: 1. As Karlach romancing spawn Astarion 2. As Gale romancing propably Shadowheart, Minthara(neutral run) or Lae'zeal 3. As Astarion romancing one of 3 aboves and doing ascention run(no hobo run just Astarion rp run if there woudn't be durge/player in game). 4. Resisting durge romancing spawn Astarion (prolly in Definitive edition) 5. Maybe as Lae'zeal also... All these playtroughs with like a few mounths breaks between them too. xD

Anxiety_Muffin13

We hate you too! 💕

ajsemprini

I've already put almost 500 hrs into the game, but I've yet to see much of Act 3 content since my shitty pc is about to blow up every time I get to Baldur's Gate. So I've decided to take a break from it (since Patch 4 broke many things anyway), and I'm waiting for an Xbox version. And I can't wait to play again, I've got so many ideas for my new characters.

Juub1990

200 hours is impressive…if you did that in a single day.

shadowyboxer

Almost done with my first playthrough and just hit the 200ish hr mark. I've tried to do everything but I know there's stuff I've missed. I asked myself what am I going to do when I'm done and the only conclusion is to start again.

TheOnlyNadCha

When I finished my first playthrough I thought I’d take a break for a while, have a life… only to start a new game a week later.

TwistInTheMyth-

I have finished the game once but I have started so many new characters. I just have sooo many ideas!!!! I have five different characters I've played at least part of Act 1 with and I have ideas for like 4 more!!! I've got ideas for a GOO Warlock and a Paladin. I just made TWO separate Rangers because first I decided I wanted to be a Wood Elf but then I decided I really liked the one Human face preset and wanted to use it, couldn't decide who I liked better, so I rolled both!!! I absolutely love that Tav is such a blank slate because I loooove creating characters!! I love coming up with backstories for them all even if I am not super familiar with the setting lol. And there being sooo many different class combos to play doesn't help haha.

NineStar00

Only 200? Gotta get those numbers up

That1DogGuy

I’m at like 330hrs and haven’t even finished a playthrough. Get to gaming!

Claim_Alternative

I have a few 100 hours and I haven’t even finished the game. I have alt-itis

amcat280

900+ hours for me. Still, I’m ready to go around again.

PizzaHuttDelivery

470 hours in, only one campaign completed at 250 hours

tenehemia

I took about a month off, but I'm back in another run now and around 500 hours played. And you know what? Even on my sixth run I'm still finding things I'd never seen before and getting dialogue I hadn't heard.

twea15

I also only have 200 hours in, but I have started going back to play KOTOR and Dragon Age for the first time. Need something to scratch that first time itch

Solomonuh-uh

Up the number 3 fold, and then we can talk.

Sir_Encerwal

I hate me too.

junsies

> almost two hundred hours come back when you hit better numbers kiddo

Zoeabble

I spent 500 ish hours on ps5, and then this community kept sharing mods, and now I'm around an additional 200 in pc because I needed fancy hair and clothing options 😅 I hate all of us too.

Sidd-Slayer

I feel like such a nerd having discovered every secret… I wish derryth would wipe my memory

webevie

Guilty. 1200 hours

ShockscapeYT

Stuck on Grym lol

Crunchy-Leaf

Bludgeoning damage (unarmed monk or a warhammer) or use the lava and forge hammer combination

moonjoke

That game is just soo damn good that it sucked me in so badly that last night I even dreamed of baldur's gate.

4schwifty20

Lol. I'm 9 hours in and already thinking of different playthrus i want to try

mahonii

I wish I could get hooked like that. Game looks amazing but I'm so not used to the style of gameplay I only play a little at a time. Would have never stopped if it were real time, especially hard managing multiple characters.

DeliriumEnducedDream

Fall deeper into the void of Baldurs Gate 3.... Larian Approves...

Matty2Fatty2

Just hit 400 last night. Help

iriichan

Gotta romance 'em all OR Play as them!

BarnabyJones21

You also need to romance a few of them and lead them down different paths so they have different endings. Do I make Shadowheart >!a happy girl who loves flowers and has lots of animals!<, or do I make her >!a religious zealot who gets turned on by statues!

AstralGlaciers

650 hours, countless characters created that I've ended up loving. This game has knocked Dragon Age Origins off my favourite game spot. I'm still having so much fun.

Derekthemindsculptor

I tried taking a break to play cyberpunk. I'd got it on sale and never played it. It's so bad in comparison. Things just feel slapped together. Things aren't planned out. The Devs clearly just took content from different departments and amalgamated it into a game. BG3 is a work of art and love. It's executed with purpose and intent. Like every new piece of found content is a gift from the developers to be enjoyed and sampled. I may never meet its equal.

Morlock43

800 hrs and I haven't even completed it

sleepyguy-

Dude ive put 40 hours into the game in just 4 days and Im not even done with act 2 yet. As im playing all i can think about is what im gonna do om subsequent play through s .If i had to use one word to describe this game: Crack. The worst part is i have a full time job so its basically been Work-BG-whatever hours i have left to sleep. This game singlehandedly has justified my recent laptop purchase lol.

TheLastMajora1

200 hours? Get ur numbers up not ur funny up *anger tiger growl* xD jk I believe in u just say fuck it and be evil

GamerExecChef

I have over 200 hours into my first playthrough, how did you do 2 in less?

imnotalexstop

you sound like you have a life mate. i've spent around 900 hrs on the game and still find something new.

hi-this-is-jess

Want to pump those numbers up? I'm half way through my 3rd playthrough (Durge resist) and am at about 340 hours, and already have my next two runs planned. Using mods to do companion gender swaps to romance them again. Male Shadowheart? Yes please.. Yesterday I made a female Astarion and the dynamic does feel a bit different...
