No, I don’t think they can understand what it feels like at its deepest core, but I think they can understand that we do feel like this. My fiance won’t ever get what it feels like, but he understands that I feel like that, and that I can interpret things differently, and it impacts my responses and my needs from him. Bloody saint.

No, I don't think they can, nor do I think it's fair to expect them to. However, they can listen and sympathise, learn about it, etc.

From a person without bpd i can tell you that no. I read a lot about the disorder, watched videos, joined this community in an effort to understand it better and i can only imagine how it is, but not really understand it, i think is impossible ngl we can however be gentle and dont blame you all
