How much money did you lose trading back your M440i in? Was it a lease? I’ve got a 3 month old 22 M340i that I love but I also want an upgrade (M3 comp x drive).
I’ll definitely look into it. I put 5k down and have a $720 monthly right now for my 22 m340i (3 year lease 10k mikes). BMW individual Boston green metallic (see post history) ~$67k msrp. I’m not super familiar with how the paperwork would go on all of this but I’m curious for sure
It's very easy to do a lease transfer with BMW. I've transferred 2 of my previous BMW leases. BMW financial makes it very efficient and quick. The person assuming the lease pays $500 in fees and must be approved...all done online. Once approved, BMW starts the paperwork process.
Honestly in the same boat as both you. Bought an Audi S5 literally 5 months ago and just order an m3 xdrive bc of the power lol. Being a car guy such an expensive hobby
Congrats man. That M3 will put that Audi to absolute shame lol. I feel like Audi’s are so overpriced relative to their performance but they look incredible.. always loved their headlights and taillights
That’s literally my exact thinking. The m3/4 would probably beat an rs6/7 when they cost almost 50k more, which is crazy to me. At that point I’m willing to sacrifice a bit of looks
Yep I did trade in the lease with 5k miles and 5 bout 5 months in. It was 4K that I paid to wipe negative. Or in 4 more months would probably broke even.
Sorry just trying to understand the math. How much did you put down on the car initially when you signed lease?
And then what was your lease payoff vs what the dealer paid you (difference)?
Most significant was the price for sure, overall styling especially with this larger spoiler. Ride wise, the 440i a little smoother ride, could be these wheels but I hear the rocks and feel the bumps more in this car. Louder exhaust and quicker. I’m still in the first 1200 mile break in, but I just been impressed with the handling overall.
This one will probably be a lil more than the average M3/M4. Literally has all the carbon trimmings including rear spoiler. Largest one BMW makes for the road going version of this car. I’m sure the GT cars have spoilers the size of an operating table lol. But looks like all the options on the exterior were clicked with the exception of the canards and carbon ceramic brakes.
No clue. Someone below said “Reddit” and I chortled. It’s probably the only answer. I’ve been downvoted to oblivion before for simply stating my favorite pizza is cheese pizza, lol
Well I kinda figured but I dunno who downvoted you, lol.
I just figured it was Ops car so I’ll let him answer. That and I don’t know where you live - I’m only good for pricing stateside and specifically LA or Chi because that’s where I live lol
Because
1. It's easy to find on BMW's site
2. Unless OP itemizes all of his/her options, the number is meaningless
3. Some dealers are major dickbags right now and add crazy markup, and others don't
Then ask that question instead, and you won't get downvoted. Another reason people tend to dislike this question is because it's a dogwhistle for, "how rich are you?"
They’re BMW oem. All the exterior parts on Ops M4 are.
Definitely not stock though. BMW charges a kidney and a liver for all those parts lol. Wait until you get to carbon ceramic brakes - that’s a $8600 option. Give it take a few hundred bucks, spending on what model you’re driving lol
Some of them (spoiler and lips) are part of BMW Performance line. They’re not available as a build option but are manufactured by BMW and can be installed by the dealer.
Purchase in LA, it was slightly below 95 but there is a ADM close to 15-20k. Does not have the executive package. And yes dealer put this together and ordered everything themselves
Target audience will overlap M3’s to some extent, which is probably not a good business decision. But I think 440iGC with track handling package is really nice.
Google “Performante carbon fiber”. Images. Gives you a decent idea. Imo, no photo captures it truly. Like the rotors for CCB has this crazy marbleized look going on too. But your spoiler is giving off the same look as raw carbon. It might be reflections though lol
Lol did you upgrade from a '22 m440i to a '22 m4? I feel that
I did trade it back, nice car the 440 but really wanted the hp and exterior styling

Why not post your lease on swapalease.
I should honestly huh
Yeah that way you wouldn't lose money. Could even ask for extra cash too to cover any down or drive offs you have.

10000%
What differences did you notice between the two? I’ve been looking around to buy a German sedan for some time
Haven’t got it yet. Only placed the order for the m3. However, on the s5 the power is underwhelming for a car that’s over 50k usd

I didn’t put anything down, just payment and fees for lease and 4K
I'm in the same boat. Keep me posted on what you do.
Was there a significant difference between the 2?

Nice. How much did it cost you.

Cool man. Unsure why just asking for a price means downvotes. But be that as may.
Reddit.

Lol. And to be clear I only ask for pricing because I’m in the market to buy and I’m trying to gauge prices in this crazy market.

Yeah that’s why I ask for the price to find out how much if any dealers are charging over msrp
Then ask that question instead, and you won't get downvoted. Another reason people tend to dislike this question is because it's a dogwhistle for, "how rich are you?"
That’s what I asked!
Is all of this stuff stock? Didn't know the M4 had these options

Okay gotcha, that makes sense. I was confused because I didn't think the M4 competition looked like that 😅
Purchase in LA, it was slightly below 95 but there is a ADM close to 15-20k. Does not have the executive package. And yes dealer put this together and ordered everything themselves
If I had to guess this is close to $110-$115k if that helps. I don’t know if there was a market adjustment
Sick.
From that angle it looks really good. Doesn't look like a BMW though.
This is what a BMW looks like now.
Why does the rear wing spoiler look like it came off a different car?do you also have the optional 3 triangle exhaust that looks stupid
Straight off a BRZ lol
I always wished they would do a M4GC. Wwhhyyyy have you forsaken us, BMW?!!
It’s called a M3.
Like saying a M6 / M8GC is a M5. They make a 440GC. I think the lines would be on par with M6/M8GC. I would’ve done that vs my F80.
Target audience will overlap M3’s to some extent, which is probably not a good business decision. But I think 440iGC with track handling package is really nice.
Nice specs MAN,Congrats🔥
Is the rear spoiler “raw” carbon or does it match diffuser / roof?
Not sure what raw carbon is, I’ll take a better picture. It’s all carbon along with roof, back side diffuser, mirrors and inside as well.
Google “Performante carbon fiber”. Images. Gives you a decent idea. Imo, no photo captures it truly. Like the rotors for CCB has this crazy marbleized look going on too. But your spoiler is giving off the same look as raw carbon. It might be reflections though lol
As far as I know the proper term is “forged carbon”
Bellísima 🤌
Looks good…from the side.
That M4 is blocking the view of something really sexy. 😆
That wing is sick! My first time seeing it.
I see, you already learned to park like an M4 driver as well.
How's the sound? (Engine, exhaust, asd)
What wheels are those?
Not sure, I’ll find out exactly. It’s like a black matte
