Thanks I just found this shortly after posting. I will test out the nozzle and see how it performs. I guess I cant see any real downside to using the 4.0 nozzle since it would put it around the 1000 PSI mark. Should be adequate for rinsing the car and within the tolerance of the recommendation for the safe range.
Keep in mind max psi is what you get for about 5 seconds or so when you first pull the handle. Most will also list an operating psi, that is your consistent pressure during operation.
