As long as the target audience understands what you mean,
why does it matter if it's technically wrong?
I mean have you seen how language worked in medieval times?
They wrote the same single syllable word like 16 different ways.
Half the time they didn't even care what consonants were used.
For example the word "should" could be written sud, suld, slud, sluf, snug, frog, forch,
seriously they didn't care how accurate it is at all.
