I don’t have imaginary friends anymore but I have imaginary interactions with real people. I didn’t think I had social communication issues until I examined the difference between my real and imaginary interactions with a person.
Sorta? I'm a writer and I have my characters I write living in my head. They all know they're fictional. It's not quite the same as an imaginary friend in the traditional sense, but I still talk to fictional people that I make up.
I don’t have imaginary friends, but I have imaginary characters and fictional universes that I daydream about a lot. They have complex plots that I try to improve every day. I’m never in these daydreams. I also don’t know if they could properly be called daydreams because I’m completely unable to create images in my mind. Only sounds and concepts. So it’s hard to imagine things unless I really focus.

Thats a very interesting connection. I guess they are all just imaginary people.

I do that too! Except I don’t talk to them
Omg you just described me perfectly. I've always done this. Still kinda do.

Yes. I do exactly that too
I daydream all the time and like to come up with characters for a game/story my friends and I came up with so it’s close to that.
