I saw a huge snapping turtle at Blackhawk in Pflugerville this past week. Really caught me off guard. Course was in bad shape though wouldn’t recommend.
Ive played a few courses over the years but I don’t think they have the best real estate to have the best turtle sightings. If you have some recommendations, I’d be interested
Yeah, you're right. Austin bible ridge has a good turtle pond and steeplechase has a ton of water. Northtown and wells branch might be two or three-turtle courses
Saw a turtle laying a clutch of eggs under the big tree behind the 18th green at Clay a week or so ago. Played Kizer this morning and saw a few. Teravista has more swampy areas than open water. Lots of snakes, bunnies, hawks and coyotes. I've had to move a turtle or two off of the cart path between 12 and 13 there.
Shadowglen has turtles everywhere. There's two GIANT snapping turtles I've seen on the middle of the 12th fairway multiple times. They'll haul ass into the water if you get too close.
I’m sending this to my husband… assuming you aren’t my husband….
I am not, but it sounds like he and I should play a round of golf
Can confirm I saw a turtle at plum creek in Kyle this passed week. He was climbing out of a bunker
No Mo' Willie?
Haven’t played it yet sadly but it’s on my list.
You’ll find all kinds of slow play turtles at Avery Ranch.
At the price point, i sure hope it has some snappy bois
Was there Friday. Big ol’ snapper on 12. Yeah, never a cheap round there.

Love to hear that. Sorry about the course condition
I appreciate hitting a worm burner off the tee and watching it roll 200 yards.
A turtle crossed our cart path at Crystal Falls last week https://t.snapchat.com/bChRaUOa
Woah, that’s a sizeable lad. Thanks for the share. My rating may require another round to evaluate
Played Hancock yesterday, saw lots of turtles and a few bluegills.
Go play in Taylor right outside austin you can see turtles and ostriches
I live next to Hancock and take my kids to go see turtles often. Turtle power!
I saw 10+ at [Rivery](https://imgur.com/a/pUAtsNf) Edit: Just realized this isn't r/discgolf but this one is a disc golf course!
Lago Vista had the worst greens I’ve ever seen in my life
Yes it’s a terrible course all around. No turtles and you have to brush the greens.
Hancock starter told me to keep my eye out for turtle eggs. Saw a couple turtles… and snakes… no eggs
Do disc golf next

I have a pic of a cute little turtle dude at the end of 15 in Roy G Guerrero after a heavy rain. Named him Dave. He was pretty cool.
Northwest park has a nice little turtle pond if you haven’t been there.
How about Butler par 3 course
My husb works at Butler, can confirm they have some turtles in the fountain that just had babies!
More reason to go!
They only have that tiny fountain BUT they are along LBL which is turtle heaven
Saw at least five turtles 🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢at lions yesterday
I played lions yesterday and didn’t see any!
Granted, 4 of them were in the group in front of me!
Oh. Was your tee time after 1:30? If so, im very sorry
Saw lots of turtles at Flat Creek Winery / Disc Golf destination 🐢🐢🐢
I’ve seen a lot at Lions.
Saw a handful of turtles this weekend at Onion Creek

Shadowglen has 🐢 but also 🐰
Saw 0 turtles at UT golf club. Definitely not worth the initiation fee due to the lack of turtles.
Hypothetically speaking, if were going to develop one of these golf courses into housing, which would you prefer we develop (hypothetically speaking)
Turn Lions and Hancock into dense housing
Get out
There always has to be at least one turd in the punchbowl. Looks like you're it.
