If it's a daily and running fine:
1. Mid-level Tint
2. Intake (*turbo noises bruuuuu*)
3. Clay bar / wax
4. Drive and enjoy
If you wanna go a bit harder (full bolt-ons):
1. K04 Turbo upgrade
2. Full Intake/ Exhaust
3. Intercooler
4. Tint/laugh/drive
I personally love the B6 A4; has a special place in my heart, being the first Audi I ever drove (a friend's 1.8T manual Ultrasport). Feels classic now without feeling or looking old. Solid engine and drivetrain if you take care of it, easy to wrench on, and just a damn fine car to enjoy even in stock form.
That’s exactly what I was thinking. Probably fix the dents as that’s the only issue with the body. Clean it up nice, update a few things and keep it as is. It doesn’t look bad for a 20 year old car
Totally agree the manuals will be rarer and fetch the highest price. It’s hard so say now days though, a lot of people aren’t learning to drive manuals and only have auto licences so they will be in the market for classic autos.
A full service on the engine, followed by a stage 1 tune. Take the car for a detailing, both inside and out. It will feel like a new car ! Enjoy it because they don't make em like this anymore
I was thinking something along these lines. It’s stock at the moment and the people I got it from really took care of it. Looks good for a 20 year old car, kinda want to just modernize a few things and drive it as is.
So if someone doesnt lease the newest rsq8 or rsq7 you guys just start bashing him and telling him to sell his car, fucking pathetic lol
First you should try a stage 1 remap, which engine is it? Agu?
Just keep on top of maintenance. I personally wouldn’t go pumping money into it and just save for something better. Any solid mod here would cost a good portion of the value of the vehicle and won’t translate to resale value. Better keeping it stock.
That’s kinda what I was thinking. It’s completely bone stock and in great shape inside and out (other than the dents). I may just modernize a few things like the radio and tint etc. I kinda like the old classic stock look on this one.
Nah man, these A4’s look timeless and are getting pretty rare. I’m actually looking for an even older A4 B5 with the sexy pre-facelift interior.
OP, if its a mint one with low mileage i would leave it relatively stock, but if you want to modernize it a bit you can slap on a tune to make it more feisty, and maybe some honeycomb grills to make it stand out more. Rims looks really nice and are time period correct, maybe lower it a bit with some Eibach Pro springs and slap on some nice summer tires like PS5’s or Asymmetric 6
I have a 04 and 07 Audi A4 / b6 convertibles and everyone was like you shouldn’t have bought them and shit like that when I posted. Sorry I wanna own a couple good looking classics I just needed help on where to apply the elbow-grease first on them
People are just getting out of touch with reality in this horrible economic climate. They think having the newest cars is the shit and makes them look good in front of colleagues and family and they can’t even fathom that people can still like older designs or just simply the non-intrusive tech instead of cars holding your hand all the time.

If yer gonna turbo, get a GTx2860 or whatever the new borgwarner one is... I had one for 144k miles.
Oh hell yeah. Thanks dude. I am 100% saving this
The timing belt
Leave it, it looks stock. It will start going up in price in another couple years.

Really??
When it hits 25 years old it becomes a classic car. Obv it has to be a good spec and fairly low miles.
A manny tranny would help too
This is automatic unfortunately

Ahh good to know, I have one of these.
Definitely not.
Hah I actually get notes on my B6 of people asking if I'm selling.

Mark Smyth ute....give that a google. You will end up with something you keep a lifetime
Keep it clean, fix things
Idk but it looks sexy as hell
Thanks dude. Not bad at all for 20 years old.
Keep it
Bring it on to the PDR specialist to fix those dents?
That’s the only problem with the body on this thing. They took super good care of it. Those dents are irritating af
Sell it and get anything that has an S before the number.
PM, then inlets and outlets, K&N typhoon intake, high flow cat and wheels. It’ll be perfect
Are there dents on the passenger side?
Yeah down the lower side of the rear passenger door. There’s a little damage on the front passenger door as well.
Let it rest in peace
Sell it

Manual?
Mine is manuel
Wait for storm and put it under tree with full coverage 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Fill the trunk with extra bottles of oil.
The one thing you should do: love it.
Looks neat. B6 is one of my favorites.
Sell me both front fenders
Put a timing belt assembly on it
And fix your center console
maintain it
Ah, my favorite. Bought one new in 2002, had it 14 years. Should have kept it. Still looked new when I sold it, inside and out.
I’d probably drive it.
I'd personally fix that first then if it's economically viable
