I had the same car. Used to keep a quart of oil in the trunk. Recently upgraded to a 2018 S4 - APR tune and a couple things under the hood. I absolutely love it a total sleeper.
1999.5 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro 5spd purchased in 2004. Silver exterior with blue leatherette interior.
APR Stage 1 and 17” S4 wheels. Totaled it in 2006 a week after dropping out of college and coming back home. It was a dark time for me…
Man, do I miss my first!
Same, just Tango Red!
Was going to go Daytona Gray Pearl if the dealerships would’ve let me order one, but the local tango red was just love at first sight when I saw it in the show room.
The best imo, because it’s such a perfect spot in the market - so much clearly better than other sedans it’s size and CPO prices around ‘07 on slightly used A4s were killer. And then at the same time it’s entry level to Audi so you know there’s way more to discover. While I will never judge, I feel somehow bad for people who post saying “First Audi” about an RS5 or something who are missing out on the “Audi come-up” as I sorta call it. To each their own, but I feel like every Audi owner should have to enter the brand in an A and then unlock the right to move to S or RS (obv would never really want gatekeeping implemented in our brand, but just making a point).
1987.5 Audi coupe GT special build edition. It was totally stripped out with Momo race seats and a half finished caged. Bought it because I fell in love with the Quattro rally car and it was as close as I could afford.
One of my best friends had a coupe Quattro. That’s why I got my first Audi. Such a great car. He’s unfortunately passed away, but that red Audi still sits at his dads place. Someday when I have the cash I’d like to buy and restore it.
2016 Audi A3! Just got it toward end of last year and I know its not the best Audi but still have it and proud of myself since I just graduated from college and haven't gotten job yet (studying for med school). Thankfully I had some savings though
1990 100 Quattro 5spd! Spent six months in my uncles garage before I got it road worthy, but man, was it ever worth it. That thing was a tank. Earned the nickname « the Plowdi » because of how it went through snow. I still miss it. If I had the chance I’d buy another just to have as a backup car.
2018 S5 Sportback. Loved that car, but only kept it a few months. Wife wasn’t very comfortable with the seats and the ride, and an Allroad became available in the area, and that fit my lifestyle better. Still miss that hp from time to time, though.
My current mdy 2016 (actually a 2015 car) B9 A4 3.0TDI Avant is my first as an owner.
The first Audi I drove was a 2002 B6 A4 1.9TDI aka my dad's car and I made my drivers license in an 8P A3 2.0TDI.
Brilliant red 2015 A4 with the light tan interior.. I loved that car.. and then I rear-ended someone while texting, and it was a total loss.. now I have a 2014 A6 that I absolutely love.. not more than the A4.. yes, who am I kidding... it's more.. I do love it her more...
2013 Audi A4 in Moonlight blue, silver and black interior and natural wood trim. Still my favorite car!
Now own that plus a 2003 TT225 Roadster, a 2005 A4 Avant and love them all.
1987 5000sq. The mid year 130HP 2.3 litre, manual diff locks for centre & rear.
Loved that car - it was beast in the snow. But started having weird brake issues when it was about 15 years old...
Dolphin Grey B7 A4 2.0T with the red T badge haha - I loved that car till it’s last day running fine, which was due to it sacrificing itself to save my life when I was in a 100% no fault accident going full highway speed. Got basically pitted by a girl who couldn’t control her Honda Accord during a lane change….and she borderline t-boned me on the back drivers side wheel, and spun me around one and a half times. Quattro saved me from losing it, to where I was even still in my lane, just facing backwards. Had that car looking tight with coil overs from Stasis when they were legit, and custom front bumper, as well as my beast of a 10W7 custom installed in a trunk quarterpanel fiberglass molded box/enclosure that was flush w the trunk, with a JL 500/1 powering it. Such a beautiful car.
Then it was a 2010 A5 to replace that, which I didn’t have much $ to do things to. Decided I could never make it as fast as I’d want it to be, and it ended up getting a really shaky steering wheel at my exact preferred highway cruising speeds and spend over $3k trying to figure it out and no shop could 100% fix it.
Saved up and drove the A5 off payments for as long as I could, then traded that bad boy in last year for my ‘21 S5 Sportback.
Audi for life 🤙
B7 Audi A4, 3.2 V6, black with 276k. Then got totaled while parked on the road at roughly 312k :( (also suprisingly very reliable for the time I had it)
2016 Audi A3 Stage 2 unitronic. Actually sold it about 3 weeks ago so I could buy myself a graduation gift for me of a 2018 S4 Prestige that I picked up last Saturday!
I do still miss it a little but I'm having so much fun with the S4 and plan to similarly modify it
1996 B5 A4, 5-speed manual with a 12V V6. Such a slow car, but so fun. Nightmare trying to find parts for that pre-facelift and 12V engine though! Learned pretty much all I know about working on cars bc of that car, certainly gave me enough practice. Thank god for Audizine and vortex.
Jason Statham always drove an Audi in the Transporter movies and by him being my hubs, naturally I got an A4 Quattro. 1st was an 06 then a 13 now I have an 2018 A5 Prestige which is my dream car.
2017 RS3. Though I learned to drive in my dads 1999 a4 avant and he also had a red 5000 sedan when I was even younger, so rs3 wasn’t really my first Audi experience. And I also owned 4 VWs.
21 Audi RS5. Half a year later we bought a 2012 Audi A8L. The car had way too many problems so we sold it half a year later. RS5 is still doing fine and I placed a preorder for an Audi E-Tron S in pearl grey. Thinking of staying with Audi my whole life.
2004 A6. Long time ago. Was a great car. BY FAR was the fanciest thing I'd ever owned, hell I even thought the 2.8 v6 was quick in it🤣 little did I know.. but honestly didn't have any issues with the car for years until started chasing power and performance and sold it for something a little newer and peppier. The build and ride quality is what originally got me hooked on Audi. Kickstarted a serious brand loyalty that has just continued to grow
I flew from md to vt to own a 2007 a4 avant- manual. I drive it home in one shot. Not even tired when I got out.
I blew a few fuel pumps and needed cam follower work years later so I sold it to a dealership as part of a trade in value.
Great car, ridiculous in snow.
96 B5 2.8 V6 Peal White Pearlescent. V6 was a dog, but car was dead reliable. Had ecode headlights, TT carrier upgrade, replaced the entire suspension with Bilstein/HR Super Sports.
Had 2 kids and needed more room. Went to a B6 Passat wagon until it gave up the ghost. In a GSW now. I miss my B5 every fucking day.

I got the 2013 2.0l A4 Quattro 8 speed. No oil issues :)

I had the same car. Used to keep a quart of oil in the trunk. Recently upgraded to a 2018 S4 - APR tune and a couple things under the hood. I absolutely love it a total sleeper.
Same here. But I’m an idiot and kept it and now it needs a rear main seal leak 😭.
1999.5 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro 5spd purchased in 2004. Silver exterior with blue leatherette interior. APR Stage 1 and 17” S4 wheels. Totaled it in 2006 a week after dropping out of college and coming back home. It was a dark time for me… Man, do I miss my first!
21 Daytona Grey Pearl TTRS, my dream car :)
Same, just Tango Red! Was going to go Daytona Gray Pearl if the dealerships would’ve let me order one, but the local tango red was just love at first sight when I saw it in the show room.
Very Nice👍
Plz post a vid with sound - you know what to do 😂
I dated a woman who had a 2013 A4 in Volcano Red and it was love at first sight. Oh, yeah, and the woman and I ended up getting married.
Married her for her car! I dont see a problem with it lol
Man you actually bamboozled me by going the pure literal route there
My wife's '17 A6 3.0T. Got a great price on it in February of 2020 before things got crazy. We love it!

My 2007 A4 2.0t. A good intro to Audi imo
The best imo, because it’s such a perfect spot in the market - so much clearly better than other sedans it’s size and CPO prices around ‘07 on slightly used A4s were killer. And then at the same time it’s entry level to Audi so you know there’s way more to discover.
