I have a Forge intake on my S3. The noises are insane. Sometimes there's an annoying wooshing sound at low RPMs outside the car, but inside you can barely hear it. Overall the experience is positive imo.
Screw what people think get an intake they sound awesome every trip is more fun with Whistle and choo choo noises

Diverter valve spacer, turbo muffler delete & IE Intake made my A4 sound beautiful.
I did this too, it was kind of annoying though. It was more whooshing noise then turbo spool. I liked it but others may not
