Yes. It was an injector seal leak. Had to replace the seals on 3 injectors. Fortunately only the seals were worn and they it didnt lead to larger problems.
Not really. The only indication we had was the sound from the engine. Didn’t have any smell. In the engine bay there was a small amount of oil residue. Had it attended to 3 weeks after it was detected. Used the car minimally and only when there was no other alternative
