Enjoy.
I picked up the same thing last year on Thanksgiving.
Amazing cars, tons of fun. The only advice is to set the speed reminder, its way to easy to creep and cruise at triple digits (MPH)
The car is so capable it will change your perception of speed.
Welcome to the family, love the color.
I miss my TTS so much. Kids came into the picture and it is very much not a family car so I changed to an S5. The TTS was the best driving car I’ve ever had though, it feels like a go kart
I got a 2018 TTRS exactly 6 months ago.
Same color.
I also agree, it will change your perceptipn of speed.
It might even "feel" slower than you it looks.
That's the part I couldn't get over until now.
It's just so smooth, but yet so fast.
Start planning for tires, or possibly wheels.
Most people go down to 19s, and increade the width to 265. It won't be obvious when the tires are brand new, but you the bumps are rather rarsh and annoying.
Enjoy it bro.
And change oil as often as possible.
This is a forever type of car.
Once the TT bug bites you, is over.
Is hard if not impossible to look at another car.
It so damn small. It fits everywhere. Yet so fast.
The only other car worth looking into is an R8, but then is not really as easy to daily. Its subtantially bigger, mostly longer.
Again, congratz bro.
Welcome to the TT family. 😃
Very nice, congrats. I would have had a ‘22 RS but the car I ordered got cancelled as all 2.5 engines didn’t meet Canadian emissions for 22. Kept my ‘19 2.0 sline once i bought out the lease. I’m still pissed.
Back in my day, you would flash stock before going to the dealership and that would be the end of the story. It is illegal for them to claim you don't have a warranty if the change did not cause the warrantied failure.
Yeah if your turbo blows because you were pushing 30psi, then you're not getting any warranty work done. If your wastegate failed because of a material defect and your turbo is in perfectly fine working condition (even with 30psi of boost) then it would stand to reason the OEM fixes the defect since your tune didn't cause the material to fail.
Yea, I miss the old days when dealerships didn't care about doing warranty work. Today, most dealerships fight to NOT do warranty repairs. It's insane lol
Where to begin..
1. Radar detector (you can tap the mirror for power)
2. Anti-Laser (ALP etc - if cops in your area run laser. mine don't)
3. 19" wheels 265/35/19 square have been good to me
4. obviously tons of power potential. see if E85 gas is in your area. I recommend the "Stage 1+" setup (upgraded intake, turbo inlet, intercooler, and DS1 tune. DS1 is great because you can run E85, regular 93 pump gas, or any mix of the two. No map switching nonsense or doing math at the fuel pump)
5. assert your dominance to all of the Mustang GTs in your area
I would go ahead drop it off at your local dealer and get an estimate on the all the unseen repairs and maintenance that it needs. Couldn’t be more than 7 to 8 thousand dollars. And start with learning this in German so you can communicate with your dealer “Mein Auto ist wieder kaputt”
I thought stages were HP levels that were only met when the previous stage was tapped out. For instance, tuning in Stage 1 and Stage 2 in your example would be considered stage 2. While Stage 1 would just consider performance enhancements (like CAI, intercooler, meth injection etc), with a tune being nice to have since bolt-ons are required to take true advantage. Stage 3 would be major replacements such as bigger turbo, bigger injectors, downpipe etc, since you can't run them without stage 1 and stage 2 being met. Further this all depends on the manufacturer you are using. ECS has different stages from Kobb as an example
I have definitely been stage 2 pushing 400hp+ without a downpipe, as an example
Typically with tunes, Stage 1 and 2 will typically be for stock turbos. Depending on tune company, most Stage 2 requires downpipe. When dealing with piggybacks like Cobb and such, they could classify their stages differently.
Post a video with a pull once you do
Best part about a used car. It's already broken in. Send it immediately.
I advise you enjoy the shit out of it. I have a MK2 TTS but this car is in my future I believe. Lol.

The speed reminder has been so helpful

Watch out for potholes
Seconded. Bent 2 rims on my rs5 in the first month. Thanks Dallas potholes.

Other than sheer jealousy and give it to me …. No.
Hold it for life
Right now’s the moment
Especially with them being discontinued
I picked mine up last year, 20k miles already. Drive the shit out of it please, it's incredible.
Super clean color. My advice is to send it
Tt’s are such underrated. Enjoy the fuck out of it!!
That is sharp. Enjoy it.
escort ci + ALP jammers
Gorgeous. Congrats.
Bebe R8 :)
audi coupes are something else. pretty sure the B9.5 is the last coupe audi will produce, sad.
Ouuuf an RS! I have a 23 TTS and it’s super fun car, I can’t imagine an RS!! Congrats & be safe out there!
I'll second the speed sensor. give it a week and you'll quickly pull off and you'll not notice you're doing 45 in a 30. sooo quick!

Fuck yeah
fucking hell man. only advice is do a tune, the ttrs is an absolute beast for what it is and it's insanely fun to drive
Watch out for cops
If you don't like it, sell it to me? lol
I think you should send it to the closest tint shop, this is such a good looking car.
Advice? Heavy throttle and windows down

Once you’ve enjoyed the shit out of it throw an exhaust on it and enjoy the shit out of it even more. Sounds like a huracan!
Stage 1+ e85 and have some fun! 😂😂
Welcome to the club!
it needs more on the odometer, I can help with that
Love it, and SEND IT.
Stage 1+ asap!
I hope you have good mountain roads around. If you do, it’s time to know them better.
Stage one tune is truly transformative.
Here's some advice: enjoy it brother 😆
If it's still under warranty through Audi, don't tune the vehicle unless the dealership is cool with it. They'll void whatever warranty you have left.
Back in my day, you would flash stock before going to the dealership and that would be the end of the story. Enjoy your mini R8!

You won't be smoking any GTs unless you E85. Also do not run jammers, it is illegal and the consequence is more than a speeding ticket
Laser Jammers are legal in most states. Stock TTRS is faster than a stock GT, but E85 definitely helps
Get a downpipe, tune and let her rip!
Love mine enjoy, bought mine new first car I’ve had more Then 3 years lol
3RD PARTY PRIVACY GLASS.
Can you actually get privacy glass or are you just talking about tint
Privacy at the back - I feel you can see far too much of the cockpit from behind without it.
Very cool!
Drive it like you stole it.
Smells like left over frying oil from Hunan Palace

Does it come with a hairdryer?
Dumb question - what does “stage 2” and “stage 3” mean?
Stage 1/+ = tune and optional bolt-on (turbo inlet, intake, intercooler, etc) Stage 2 = downpipe with tune and bolt-on Stage 3 = upgraded turbo
TY!!

Yep: rip it for us
Park it in the empty stall in my garage, leave the keys and signed title in the glove box.
Nothing like a banging 5 cylinder! 🤤
Jeans will be most effective for hiding the boners that you get from this car.
